Just to upload it. Odexed or deodexed?
Deodexed: http://d-h.st/5U2
Odexed: http://d-h.st/Fpc
Deodexed is from updated firmware, but it was some minor update a month after release JB. And odexed is from that first release.
Thanks mate
Thanks alot

One link here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=633246
Another from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32978279&postcount=2 in the tools section.
You will need to set it up on your computer though, just read the instructions, its straight forward enough and there is a very good faq in post 2 of the kitchen thread
Sorry but I can't find it in the tools section. You know I want to convert ftf to zip right?

Oh. Okay. I thought his kitchen is unable to do that. Thanks again. I'm getting my computer this weekend and will start working on it.
Also mind recommending me a good name for my Rom?

Thats the whole point of the kitchen...
Let me know how you get on
As for a name, thats up to you
I cooked my own rom pretty easy. Get the system.sin and Duped data in SIN editor in Flashtool. Then using ext2explore i saved the /system.
Then ofc you put it in a zip. And let the kitchen do the work
Hey guys!
I recently rooted my Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000, and figured out it would be cool to change the theme.
I was going to make a S4 statusbar, so I changed the SystemUI, and deleted the .ODEX or something..
Something got fu... up, and now I am sitting here with no statusbar, when someone calls it doesn't show(just vibrates), my wallpaper is black aswell, and can't be changed.
Anyone knows how to fix this?
I don't have my original SystemUI..
Restore your nandroid backup if you have one or ask someone to upload their systemui.apk and .odex file and push them to your system/apps
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
Yea, Ive tried different SystemUI files from other mods, but I guess I need that .ODEX file..
Thanks for the answer
If anyone got that file, please post it here <3

Do you have a deodexed rom? If yes then these will not work and have you changed the permissions?

You have got a deodexed rom now it matter if you change the permissions or not.. Anyone out there using any rom such as rocket, ultimate, etc please share the systemui.apk from your system/apps..! Or frugis do it yourself by unzipping the rom zip you have flashed to get jb rom and simply copy system/apps/systemui.apk to your phone

Thanks for the help guys!
Good karma
I deleted my Android 4.0.4 and installed JellyBean 4.1.2. That fixed the problem
Hai guys. Iam a noob. i hve decompile systemui.apk stock jb 4.1.2 but i nver hve smali folder on it. Iam confuse bcause in another apk there's have thats smali folder. Someone please help i want to mod this systemui
Sent from my GT-I9070 using Tapatalk 2
I think the firmware you are using is odexed.. You need to flash the deodexed zip for your firmware (user Agadoo uploaded many deodexed firmware..) Look for the one you need, flash it and then modify those apks

You need to use this. You can't get smali just with decomiling apk.
There is new tool. Just check backsmali in decompile option.ΕΎ

Check XZ thread - there's services.jar for Z there.
Framework files shouldn't be crosflashed!
@Metallijim
Mate, you patched XZ services.jar?

Try to delete old one and manually move apk's to system/app.
Emoj's are in textinput-tng.apk (or chn for Chinese key) in res/drawable.
Maybe there is need for MODed framework, don't know that for sure, but I doubt.
Z1 keyboard
Z1s keyboard
Although, there's couple offramework jar files so if you flashed it, maybe they aren't flashed well.
Try manually moving...
