[Q] nedd a bit of help if possible please - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I need a bit of help on an accident I had.
I have a Galaxy S with the [AOSP][4.2.2][UNOFFICIAL] SuperNexus 2.0 - I90 rom, but somehow I made a mistake and ended up erasing the internal sd card storage so now my phone doesn't work (it's stuck at the rom boot logo). I tried to install the rom again using an external sd but couldn't do it. Is there anyway for me to get my phone up and running again?
Thanks!

You could try falshing with Odin on 2.3.6 again and then flash back to 4.x
With download modus that should work.
But no promisses

Go to download mod using 3 botton combo and flash 2.3.6 GB with Odin ;and come back to jb surly it will work.

Thanks for the answers, I'll try that.
By the way, I forgot to mention that I'm able to boot to recovery. Does that make any difference?

Sure;flash the ROM again and reboot.

my problem is that since I erased the internal storage and now I can't boot properly I'm not being able to make my phone be recognized by my computer while in recovery so that I can copy the rom to the phone again.
Any idea on how I can manage that?

After my knowledge computer can't recognize phone in recovery mod;tray with Odin in download mod.

Actually I found out, a bit by accident, that in recovery if we go to mounts and storage and mount the usb storage the computer recognizes the phone's internal mem and allows to copy stuff in it. I managed to copy the rom back on the phone again and I'm now installing it again.
Anyways, thank you all for the tips

Happy for you and good lac;story for my bad English!!!

[Q] format system and stuck at boot screen

Hi,
I am new in android. I went to the recovery mode and formatted system and then the phone stuck at boot screen.
Please help.
what should i do?
Is it bricked?
I can get into the download mode by using jig.
Thanks.
Its stuck at the boot screen because you completely wiped the operating system
If you didn't know what you were doing why do it?
Odin/heimdall a stock ROM, or boot into recovery, mount usb storage, move over a custom ROM aahs flash it.
as previously stated, pick a ROM from the development section and they have all of the information in there to get your phone back up and running, most have links to all of the software you need to complete this as well.
Read, read, read before you format anything.
wtf?
is this thread real?

Try flashing a GB rom using odin. Boot into recovery and do a factory reset and check what happens.

Glad you got it sorted, in future never use a pit unless you're facing certain brick scenarios, it can cause more damage than good, you rarely need them.
Happy new year to all btw

Hey. I dont think externel will get wiped out while flashing with stock. Even if it does you can make one backup of your externel sd card .

He is right! Ext don't get deleted and u can root, unlock, flash cwm and restore your device.... I think you need to get your facts straight (and even if it would get erased, just pull the ext memory out of the phone before flashing stock?!)

Galaxy S stuck on custom rom logo

HI, so recently i brought a galaxy s gt i9000. I wanted to flash a custom rom so I install cwm and now have root access. problem is whenever i try to install a custom rom it shows the bar for installation in CWM and then goes to the custom rom logo. It does nothing else whatsoever after that. I need to take out my battery and restore my backup in order to get my phone working again from a bootloop. i tried putting the rom in both my external sd card and the phone itself. Also before installing i wiped the dalvik cache etc. Can someone please help, i've tried multiple roms so its obviously my phone. thanks
details:
Running JW4 firmware
android gingerbread 2.3.6
i9000 stucks in logo because your phone is not acessing internel memory...i have also got this problem..i dont have any solution..one thing u can do is that take your phone in download mode for 2 to 3 minutes approximately and then again on your phone ...this will work...But this problem comes again when u shutdown your mobile..another method is to take your i9000 in download mode and connect to computer and then download dbdata.rfs file put in odin in pda and apply ...these two processess will definately work fine to acess your internal memory

Just a few questions regarding how you installed the rom.
1.) What rom, first of all?
2.) After rooting 2.3.6 and trying to flash through recovery, did the phone skip to the kernel screen before continuously bootlooping?
3.) Did you try pulling your battery, then putting it back in, entering recovery and flashing the same rom again?

[Q] [HELP] Formatted internal storage

ok guys this what happen.
i plan to refresh my phone. so i installed ARHD ROM with fullwipe, after that i formatted my internal storage thru TWRP.
after that, im stuck with the HTC Logo with the red warning.
i never thought that will happen since i installed the ROM.
i can still use the recovery TWRP but i cant do anything. the phone is totally useless.
i tried reinstalling in thru OTG by mounting it, but still to no avail. is there anyway i could fix this? i really need help.
my phone is running tha latest ARHD 52 (4.4.2)
i dont have any back up
If you can boot into twrp you can use ADB to push a rom to your internal storage then flash.
