[Q] Problem with mobile data

Hey everybody. I have a I-9070 mobile and i had XXLK2 rom GB . I triyed to to install JB on it, so i did , i used a tutorial , everything went good , but my mobile data is not working . i have internet now only by Wi-Fi. So i tryed again = failed . I rooted JB . and tryed again to install(or flash how is it called) JB and nothing . What can i do now ? thx.

No need to worry about this.. i had the same problem...solution is easy and it works 100%..
after u have successfully manually flashed JB in s advance make a full backup of ur contacts, messages, apps etc..beacuse u need to fully wipe cache and factory settings.. and to do this switch off ur phone.. then volumeup+homekey+lockkey press and long hold them till recovery menu appears.. after that u'll find WIPE CACHE and WIPE FACTORY SETTINGS..do it one by one and when done then reboot ur phone and ur mobile data/gprs will start working normally..and then u can restore ur stuffs from the backup..
it works 100% if u do it correctly..ENJOY>...:good::highfive:

Settings - mobile networks - apn settings
I do not respond to tech support via PM

the settings are there. and i didn-t PM you. Any other ideas ?

well then try change the network mode to gsm only and make sure data network mode is active..
Check ur APN whether u have settings saved or not.. or maybe call ur carrier network customer care..

Go to your operators webpage and find the settings you have to use and configure them again

For my operator I have option to send sms, and get all settings. Try looking for that, or call them.

[HELP] Screen freezes during call only

A strange type of bug :-
When ever i make call from my xz c6602 on jb .423 firmware...screen freezes in a strange fashion....i can not tap back button, can't select anything....as soon as call is hung up everything is fine...during call if i browse settings i am able to scroll up and down but can't select any option, back button don't work...only home key works...as soon as call disconnected everything fine...
I have done factory reset 2 times and reinstalled jb .423 via sus 2 times still same issue...
Any solution ??? Is it because of any app, i had same issue on my xsl....

Same issue with .253.
The strange think is when I do a call the problem is not present, when I receive the problem is present

I have done twice factory resetting with full data wipe and repairing my firmware via sus twice....problem still there

EDIT - YES I AM USING SMART KEY, IS IT CAUSING THIS ????
Now i just installed a fresh firmware via SU, all stock apps now it's working fine...I am on a call from past 14 minutes and it's working fine..
I guess it's a conflict with any app, now i need to install apps again...
Need to find out which app is creating this issue...Please mention your apps.

YES I AM USING SMART KEY, IS IT CAUSING THIS ????
I have removed "AVG antivirus, McAfee, Du Battery Saver, SnapDragon battery guru app, Bad piggies, tap the frog, tap the frog doodle - These apps are not creating any issue, i have checked them removing, the problem still persists.

Ok, I am on call from 27 minutes and all is working fine till now, no apps installed, only pre-installed stock apps - No freezing till now.
Let me install SMART KEY, and checking whether freezing occurs or not.

Yes i installed "Smart Key" and problem of freezing again came after 5 minutes on call.
I removed Smart Key, did a reboot...now on call from 10 minutes and phone is not freezing at all...I guess this app was making that issue.

Hey there, I'm having this issue too, on my C6602 but as I heard the C6603 isn't experiencing this issue, I hope you still have this phone. I think downgrading the operating system might help me and you. My notifications bar isn't working, touch isn't working, can't tap home button neither back. The phone screen hangs sometime. Please do tell me if you have found any solutions for this.

I used a pattern lock on my HTC One which I forgot.
Now the problem is that its asking for my google account information. I can give it but both my wifi and mobile data are off.
Can you tell me how to turn it on so that I can enter my Google account information? or any way I can open my phone? Without resorting to Factory Reset?

You don't need Internet to activate it through your Google account, can be done offline

You could try this method, dont know if your computer will let you upload files while your phone is locked thou.

The time its taken to post and wait for responses you could have factory reset and been up and running again.

I have important data. Factory reset will remove all my data

I have a feeling you're going to have to do it

Have you tried a hard reset? Or possibly activating and deactivating airlplane mode in power menu?

Maybe removing your SIM card and putting a different one in might reset the SIM properties and activate the connection?

Do you have adb installed on your computer?
Have you checked this guide, maybe it works for you?

I did try that. I have adb installed and unknown sources enabled but it won't detect my phone. Probably the drivers arent installed.
And they aren't installing either! :\
Anyway, Did a hard reset now.
Pity.

It's annoying when you lose data, I know about that first hand but sadly there's times where there doesn't seem to be a choice ... Still, look on the bright side, at least you aren't bricked lol

Then went back and factory reset'ed it

And if I could pull down my notification shade, I would've turned on wifi from there only
If I could go to settings, My phone would be usable

Similar problem
Try locking and unlocking your screen? Works for me.

I tried locking.. unlocking.... now even reboot doesnt work...
I had this issue on prvious firmware ... tried to update it to 12.0.A.2.254 .. and problems stays...
any other ideas? tomorrow iam returning it ...

Factory reset or reflash with flashtool (seus) can fix it..
I had also some touchscreen issues but with a reflash these were gone

Hi my friends.
Today was very bad day for me. First my bird died, then my phone stops working and i stuck in elevator. I need your help. Afternoon i want to call my buddy for lunch. Everything starts after lockscreen. When i call him phone wont connect to operator then it says no connection and stuck at dialer. I push power button to get lockscreen and it frozen for while then it locks and i opened lockscreen. When i saw launcher phone resets and every time it resets at SONY logo. I flashed my device 3 times or more. I used .233 . 230 and 4.3 . Every time battery shows wrong percentage. Phone opens when i plugged to charge. But if it has sim card it resets. When i disconnect from charger it resets. I try to open USB DEBUGING for install recovery to reset battery info but when i check USB debuging it resets again. You guys have any idea for that problem.

did you put the phone in flashmode?

Try pushing your simcard back in place, sometimes it'll get out of place, and then you're phone won't connect to network and reboot every time it thinks simcard is removed

Maybe there is something wrong in the hardware send it to sony center
for me if flashtool didn't helped so the real fear will start

Looks like the is some issue with Sim assembly or can be a software/hardware issue.
As all methods have not worked take the phone to a service center and get it diagnosed

ive got the reboot problem too,
try to use philz touch, go to mount and storage, mount system, factory reset,
go back to mount, mount system, flash rom
keep stamina mode off, so far that has kept my rom stable ( tried to turn stamina mode on and caused a reboot after an hour or so)
im not sure if this a final solution, but its what i am trying

Yesterday i got my device from service. They change full body. I didnt understand what problem couses it. Now everything works fine.
