Led notification problem

Hey. I have a led notification problem how can I solve it. Need help. @I don't want to reset the phone @

1. Reset the phone (See the url in my sig for more info)
2. Wait for Sony to push an update that fixes this
3. Use a third party app (Didn't work for me, only a reset fixed the problem for me.)

Turn off stamina mode.

u can backup ur setting and then reset
> before restoring try to check setting again and config it if u get LED problem again so restore all ur setting and w8 for update

In my topic, I state that you shouldn't make use of any back-up, else the factory reset won't work.

If a factory reset is helping, then I would assume there's a system app somewhere that just needs to have it's data cleared. If we could find this system app, then we could simply clear it's data and avoid having to go through the entire factory resetting process.
Perhaps the automatic restore option from the Google account loads this app with incompatible data and the LED stops functioning.

without stamia mode activated works just fine.the problem is i can't find the exact app i need to enable/add in stamina mode.

There is no app.
It doesn't work at all in stamina mode even if you white list every app that's in the list.
Sony will fix it with an update (At least that's the rumor)

Today I am facing two problems the first is the usually one with is the led notification and the second one is the stamina mode calculation

People say that when you wipe your cache the Stamina time should be back to normal for a while, after that you will need to wipe the cache again. Try that.

I got no problems at all
C6603 > Netherlands
I installed a deodexed rom today and the Stamina mode shows the correct time, I think it has to do with the cache.

stamina mode can be fixed by cleaning the cache and reboot. it worked for me

problem with flashtool when try to flash .290

when I try to flash .290 it keeps fail
and said need to install driver but I did installed
the driver from the folder and I installed newest version of flashtool too
anyone know what is going on ?

Uninstall the drivers, reboot your PC, if you can't uninstall the drivers uninstall flashtool v0.9.13 and delete the folders in program files then install it again. Keep pressed volume down all the time and connect the phone via usb to PC, do not open flashtool, wait 1 minut and let windows install the drivers automatically first, then open flashtool, select firmware and flash it, keep pushing volume down all the time. When on the green bar below show up the % of the process you can leave your phone alone. Done.

before you reply I did what you say two times already but still fail
uninstall reinstall flashtool. reboot my pc.

There is always something wrong. Did you installed the drivers like I told you? I mean windows do the installation automatically?

yes. After reinstall flashtool when I plug in pc automatically install driver

I had the same issue on my windows machine... Tried for 1 day with several solutions but nothing worked for me the solution was to install flashtool on my mac and there it worked without problems
Maybe there is some software conflict?

So at this point here is no problem. After you install drivers, open flashtool and what he saying; Device connected in flash mode?
Do you remember to keep pushing all this time volume down too?

Where can i download those drivers? Thanks.

finally flash successfully to .290
don't know why I just did all the same steps
but only one thing signal icon used to be LTE now appear 4g instead
know how to change lte back??

Not sure about that. Can be the signal 4G because LTE is not available, did you downloaded the installation for internet and mms from your sim provider? Even before that try make a Factory Reset. Most of issues are fix in this way.

when I reboot my phone it auto download vpn interntet mms all of that
I don't think so factory reset will help
because it is uk version.
feel more smooth compare to 4.2.2 so lucky I make it through without any issue :laugh:
now just signal lte icon.....
there is one thing phone signal looks more strong

4G and LTE are the same thing. The display of either of them depends on the region from where you flashed the ftf.

They are not the same, they are similar but LTE is faster.

No, 4g is LTE, they are the same thing.
In UK its called 4g, in most other countries its called LTE. But it is the same...

Screen responsivness

Got my new Sp and sometimes my top
part of the screen doesnt response till i restart.... Any ideas before i return it?

Which firmware are you using??

Similar problem
Try locking and unlocking your screen? Works for me.

I tried locking.. unlocking.... now even reboot doesnt work...
I had this issue on prvious firmware ... tried to update it to 12.0.A.2.254 .. and problems stays...
any other ideas? tomorrow iam returning it ...

Factory reset or reflash with flashtool (seus) can fix it..
I had also some touchscreen issues but with a reflash these were gone

.205 bugs

I have found some very irritating bugs on my phone after updating to .205
- WiFi issues
- Lag while installing/uninstallung apps
- Screen turns dark brown and hangs (after 2 seconds it comes back to normal)
- Ram issues
- When Installing app, The text goes under the moving line

I've repaired my phone using PCC 3 times and still the same

Use flashtool. PCC has some annoying issues when it comes to repairing and restoring backups

I only had ram issues.I was using my phone for two days when it became slow and started lagging.When I checked free ram it was less than 100.A reboot solved it.

Ive been getting the screen turning dark brown bug also, I had it on a deodexed 205 rom and im getting it on existenz 4 also. Luckily it does revert itself after a few seconds, still frustrating!

Xperia Z restarts

Hi my friends.
Today was very bad day for me. First my bird died, then my phone stops working and i stuck in elevator. I need your help. Afternoon i want to call my buddy for lunch. Everything starts after lockscreen. When i call him phone wont connect to operator then it says no connection and stuck at dialer. I push power button to get lockscreen and it frozen for while then it locks and i opened lockscreen. When i saw launcher phone resets and every time it resets at SONY logo. I flashed my device 3 times or more. I used .233 . 230 and 4.3 . Every time battery shows wrong percentage. Phone opens when i plugged to charge. But if it has sim card it resets. When i disconnect from charger it resets. I try to open USB DEBUGING for install recovery to reset battery info but when i check USB debuging it resets again. You guys have any idea for that problem.

Did you try clean installation?

did you put the phone in flashmode?

Try pushing your simcard back in place, sometimes it'll get out of place, and then you're phone won't connect to network and reboot every time it thinks simcard is removed

Oh, and battery will show right percentage again if you fully charge it

Maybe there is something wrong in the hardware send it to sony center
for me if flashtool didn't helped so the real fear will start

Looks like the is some issue with Sim assembly or can be a software/hardware issue.
As all methods have not worked take the phone to a service center and get it diagnosed

ive got the reboot problem too,
try to use philz touch, go to mount and storage, mount system, factory reset,
go back to mount, mount system, flash rom
keep stamina mode off, so far that has kept my rom stable ( tried to turn stamina mode on and caused a reboot after an hour or so)
im not sure if this a final solution, but its what i am trying

Yesterday i got my device from service. They change full body. I didnt understand what problem couses it. Now everything works fine.
