Remove branding? - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I´ve orderd the One today with a telekom branding...
Is there a possibility to remove the branding?
Thanks

Do you mean the logo printed onto the phone its self? .. I had a three branded phone and if i took it off it would just damage the phone it self its not worth trying it.

You can if you root your phone and install a custom rom.

Sim card randomly removed

Everyday at one random point of the day it shows a message saying
"Sim card removed. Reboot the phone" I don't know why this is happening... I don't think it's a rom issue cause I had this in cognition and assonance(currently used)..

Most likely you just need a new sim card. Sometimes if they mishandled when taking them in or out it could damage the contacts.
I've seen a few cases where phones belonged to people who literally smoked and held the phone with the same hand at the same time had similar issues. There could be a great deal of tar on the card.
Other than that I would just check the internals and see if anything could be blocking a good.connection.

Can I buy a new similar card wihtout having to change my number? And I'm running the assonance rom and on the status bar it has h instead of 3g is that also caused by the sim card?

The sim card just let's you connect.to the network. Your phone number would be the same as your previous one.
If you ate still under warranty, flash back to stock before you take it uptown to the store and have them put a new sim in as they may notice you have a custom rom and may make note.of it.

I don't have a warranty.. so is this gonna cost a lot of money??

Just go to the AT&T store, tell them you lost your phone and need a new sim card to use on a spare phone. Most of the time it's free.
Ok thanks I'll try it out as quick as possible cause my phone is like not working now..

Just got a new sim card but still have the same problem.... please help..

Did you flash a new rom on your phone with the SIM card installed in the phone?
Just tell them that you need your SIM replaced because this one is acting up. They shouldn't have a problem with that. I had mine replaced recently - there was no charge for it as well as there shouldn't be since they're a dime a dozen.

Yup if you are rooted you could download many bootanimations just google them you will find/plenty

ROM Tool Box Pro boot animation installation function won't work on my HTC One. I have a Sprint phone and the animation is not bad for Sprint.

Nexus 7 3g sim card tray

Hi everyone!
I just would like to ask the public does anyone know how or where from to get a sim tray replacement in the UK?
I just bought a 3g version with a cracked screen. I've already changed that, but I would need a sim tray as well.
Any advices or suggestions?
Thanks!

I suggest you contact ASUS, directly. It can't see it being a big issue to supply one to you.
I wouldn't see the case that even, but I heard you have to send the tablet to ASUS to get it back with the sim tray. So it seens like that way just a bit too much hassle and I thought someone knows a easier way.
Otherwise I've already tried to get contact with the ASUS and their customer service is rubbish! But thanks for the advice!
Anyone else with a different idea, please?

Motherboards Interchangeable? Sprint/AT&T

Long story short...
I have an Att HTC ONE M7 (black) that was jtaged and won't let me unlock or use any SIM card. (Security check to modem , need a patch to bypass the check) So tired of trying to find a fix.
I also have a Sprint HTC ONE M7** variant. Completely worthless Sprint pile of sh_t! and tried to unlock to gsm about to go outside and run over it with my lawnmower!
So can I use the daughter board(AT&T) and motherboard(Sprint)
They are both snapdragon 600 1.7 ghz
Exact same thing. I'm gonna research it but if it's possible I'm going for it..
Unless my problem is in the daughterboard(AT&T) thats causing my problem. Thoughts?

Fairly certain the radio chips are soldered onto the board. Considering the two carriers use completely different radios, I'd still bet no.
Actually your 50% correct...
The modem die is in the motherboard
the antenna etc; is in the daughterboard.
Physical antenna is actually in the back cover sorta

And I believe the modem is specific by carrier, which if true makes me 100% correct

Wrong phone number

thats way too much hassle lol i was hoping for an easy fix lol
would running through the setup app sort out my problem?
You can modify this with a Cyanogenmod Rom as I know in Phone/settings/additional settings
This number is stored on SIM card
Edit. I don't know if you can modify with something else.

same here when i sent for micro sim and kept my old number, dont think it can be changed

I've modified the phone number on my old HTC HD2 with this method then I putted back the SIM card back on my ONE. (Used a SIM card adapter for that because the HD2 has Mini SIM).
