Click reinstall packages and it will install the clockwork update.zip that was put on the sd card. Just don't remove that update.zip from the sd card as its how clockwork loads itself when you boot into recovery
You need to flash back to stock or another rom/kernel with 2e recovery using odin
guyzz i successfully installed clockwork recovery mod using ROM MANAGER on my indian version of galaxy s GT-i9000 but when i try "reboot into recovery" the phone boots into stock recovery mod.plzzz help me out guyzz
It's not CWM you should be angry at - it's perfect. Blame the ROM Manager - try to get in CWM through the 3 button combo (Volume up + Menu button + Power button) and if that doesn't work just flash CWM with Odin.
Bro thnx for the reply .....i tried the combos it takes me back again to the stock i.e Android system recovery <3e>..
select apply sdcard : update.zip or something like that
once or twice and it should take u into CWM
otherwise as said above, flash it through odin,
Hey kartik . Can u guide me how to install cm7 on our galaxy s. I m also frm india .nplz guide yaar check ur pm
That sounds like you have a stock Kernel.....try flashing an odin version of speedmod kernel.
You have 3e recovery which does not support CWM you need to flash a kernel with 2e recovery (CF-Root) or one qwith CWM built in (speedmod)
