hello guys i installed CWM recovery 6.0.2.8 but i cant go in it. how i must go to it?

guyzz i successfully installed clockwork recovery mod using ROM MANAGER on my indian version of galaxy s GT-i9000 but when i try "reboot into recovery" the phone boots into stock recovery mod.plzzz help me out guyzz
It's not CWM you should be angry at - it's perfect. Blame the ROM Manager - try to get in CWM through the 3 button combo (Volume up + Menu button + Power button) and if that doesn't work just flash CWM with Odin.

select apply sdcard : update.zip or something like that
once or twice and it should take u into CWM

That sounds like you have a stock Kernel.....try flashing an odin version of speedmod kernel.
You have 3e recovery which does not support CWM you need to flash a kernel with 2e recovery (CF-Root) or one qwith CWM built in (speedmod)
how do i enter xrecovery?
i have alfs06 which has CWM 5.XXX by default and GingerDx22 which has both Xrec and CWM 3.XXX
when i press Reboot and choose either XRecovery or CWM, nothing happens
(the phone restarts normally)
when i get Free Xperia Projects and press backspace, i get into CWM 5.XXX
some *.zip files require CWM 3 or Xrecovery so that is why i need lower versions.

normal reboot OR reboot recovery (failed)
when reboot process (on SE white logo) just keep hitting back button..

when i press back, i go into CWM 5.XXX
After instaling ClockworkMod v6.0.1.3, I can't chose any item with Home button, I can't reboot system, I have to replace the batery to reboot the phone, and phone is booting again in ClockworkMod.
Any solution or this the end of my phone (gt-i 9001)

I installed official ICS and I've rooted , I want to install cstom ROM but how to enter in CWM recovery mode?
by ROM manager flashing in recovery it's showing security error.

Revert back to GB and then install CWM or you'll get "Security error"!
using this configuration;
1-power off device
2- hold on power button wait lighting down pannel
3- press and 2 sec. hold gkey+volume up+poweroff..
its entering recovery mode
or installing rom manager.
after choose your recovery app "rom manager ask you installed cwm" u choose installed cwm!!
after touch back, and touch boot into recovery on main menu rom manager

I have a 4 year old Samsung Galaxy S Plus. I have a problem with the phone physically - meaning that the volume buttons are not working. I want to install ClockWorkMod Recovery Touch but cannot flash it as I cannot move in my recovery down and up. Is there anyway that I can install ClockWorkMod Recovery without flashing it ? Or better yet... how can I root this phone without flashing ? I have a zip file and that zip file once flashed with give me root access, but once again cannot do it as the volume keys are not working on my sammie. Any ideas ??
You can try rooting with this app, just install and in one click you will have root http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/framaroot/root-framaroot-one-click-apk-to-root-t2130276 and if that doesn't work try http://www.oneclickroot.com/phone/samsung-galaxy-s-plus/ regarding getting into recovery mode you could install a rom that would boot into recovery mode from the phones operating system, all CyanogenMod roms do this ( probably most custom roms do) if you hold power button you get the power menu options then just choose to boot to recovery
EDIT: actually if you're not already on a custom rom then you can't use the power menu options, ok so try rooting then installing an app that would let you boot to recovery. Something like this https://play.google.com/store/apps/...um=organic&utm_term=android+power+menu+widget

Thanks for info... except that I can boot into recovery, except that I cannot select anything because my volume buttons don't work, so I cannot move up or down in order to select an option. I need a TOUCH RECOVERY in order to select any option not using my volume buttons. I have this in my HTC Sensation using Touch Clockworkmod Recovery and I am not using any of my volume buttons. Is there any way I can get that touch recovery and install it without flashing it ?

You can use the ROM Manager app instead of going to recovery. You can do everything that's in the recovery from the app.
