I tried installing the xposed installer for Volumebutton song switch.
It rebooted and really hasnt stopped since.
I've downloaded doomlords flashtool, but i get this error when trying to open it, and the Generic nordic firmware .ftf
(Sweden here)
I've tried connecting the phone in any of the modes trying to repair it with PC companion, but it doesn't seem to work.
Any help would be appreciated - thanks

Hello everyone!
My Xperia T LT30P is stuck at "device encrytion failed please reset" everytime I turn it on. The "Reset Device" button on this screen doesn't do anything when tapped.
I tried to flash 7.0.A-Global firmware via Flashtool but it always gets stuck here at 0%:
21/009/2013 12:09:46 - INFO - Loader : S1_Root_7054 - Version : R5F001 / Bootloader status : ROOTABLE
Is there anything else I should try?
Thanks a lot for reading.
flash a latest version of JB,
or better yet, install PCCompanion (Just google it) and repair your phone that way

did you try Phone Repair option in PC Companion?
Thanks for your replies.
I have also tried LT30p_9.1.A.1.140_CE_Skyfall.ftf but same result. I have also tried different versions of flashtool.
PC Companion can't detect my phone. I have tried 2 different computers and each one is stuck on install MTP drivers. I guess unless the drivers are installed, PC companion won't detect it.
I have also tried connecting the phone in flash mode but PC companion asks to restart the phone in normal mode.
run the driver.exe file in the flashtool installation folder.
choose fastboot, flashmode and tx drivers
try again with pccompanion

PC companion still can't detect the phone. I have installed/re-installed all the drivers you mentioned.
As Flashtool isn't able to flash the .ftf firmware to the phone, is there any other firmware available that can be flashed via fastboot?
No.
Try downloading Sony's EMMA program and repairing with that

Thanks for your suggestion.
Seems like EMMA only works with unlocked bootloaders. And my Xperia T can't be unlocked as USB debugging is off and there is no way I can turn it back on.
Further help needed, please.
Device is on stock 1.257 FW. I have rooted and installed CWM for locked bootloader. Device says a 91mb OTA system update is available to go to 2.245 but after download and rebooting to install the update, the update fails and the device reboots to says "unable to install update, please try again". So I tried PC Companion which says an update to 2.254 is available, it downloads and gets as far as "checking tablet/smartphone", the phone reboots (and goes into charging mode) and PC Companion crashes, locking up the whole PC requiring a hard reset.
Anybody got any idea what is going on? How can I get either of these methods to work correctly?
Edit: Tried to update via SUS and it had the same result as PC Companion, crashed and locked up PC completely.
If you have added any mods or deleted any bloatware then it will always fail.
For the ota to work you need a completely untouched, just out of the box phone.

I haven't added any mods or deleted any stock apps. I wouldn't know how to remove CWM, so I guess OTA is not possible any more.
Have been trying to update device for 13 hours without success. PC Companion and SUS just keep crashing time after time after time. Wouldn't work in safe mode either, simply will not recognise the device.
Thought I might try flashing 1.257 kernel only, to see if that would overwrite CWM, but flashtool will not work. When I reboot into flash mode, it keeps giving an error saying it needs the drivers from the drivers folder which I had already installed and have now done another 7 times. That is all it does is give an error and then asks for a driver that is already installed.
I am unable to unroot as no method exists apart from flashing an ftf file. But seeing as flashtool doesn't actually work I suppose it doesn't matter that there isn't a UK SIM Free Generic (SI 1272-0816/Cus Ver. 1272-4687) 12.0.A.1.257 (or 2.245 or 2.254) ftf file.
For the past half hour I've been trying to update using PC Companion, but it keeps downloading the .257 firmware over and over again, and then saying there's no update for my device once it finishes downloading and rebooting my device.
Anyone else getting this?
I am on Generic NCB firmware .257, and when I start PC Companion it does mention the .290 update.
EDIT: Nevermind, after a reboot it finally downloaded .290...
I think my Z1 is semibricked. I can enter flashmode and stuff and it vibrates. It sometimes boots up and says Update failed connect to computer and try again. (This was after it failed with Sony Companion)
Now im trying to flash with flashtool in flashmode. It writes alot of files but it always stops at system.sin
What should i do?
I have tried with two different firmwares.
( The phone is a C6903 Unbranded)
I now flashed and excluded system.sin
It went thru. But now its stuck on Sony Boot Logo.
Any idea what the next step should be?
I reinstalled Sony Companion and reinstalled Flashtool Drivers, but the problem still exists. What am i doing wrong?
Hi, i recently rooted my Xperia Z1 on Android 4.4.4 using Kingroot and it worked all well and was confirmed to be rooted.
After that i connected to PC Companion and restored my messages and contacts and after that it required a reboot.
Once it booted down, it will constantly boot loop.
I can access recovery mode which is Teamwin.
I can access flash mode and fastboot mode.
I tried to flash a ftf file I was told about but my flashtool wouldnt recognize it .
Please help, If you need any more info just let me know.
Thanks
Reece

How about flashtool drivers, have you install it yet? If your phone can get flashmode or fastboot mode, flashtool should detect your phone, unless you did it the wrong way.

Flashtool does detect my phone and when it gets disconnected. It is when I hit on the flash icon and go to where directory for ftf is that it will not recongize any ftf files anywhere. I have heard similar problems with same issue but havent seen a solution except maybe the ftf file i have is corrupted
