I like low DPI's. Especially on high res scrrens. So I root my phone(not unlock bootloader) and download an app that goes ahead and changes the dpi part in my build.prop. Restart my phone and next thing I know I'm stuck in a bootloop and can't get into Recovery for the love of God. Should i just return it. I haven't even had it for 12 hours and it's broken. So sad :crying:
Turn it off completely by hold power + volume up for 15 seconds then start the phone into recovery by holding power and repeatedly tapping up. Once you are in recovery you can reset your phone back to normal by doing the following
Go to “Advanced”
Choose “Wipe dalvik-cache”
Now go to “Mounts & Storage”
Choose “Wipe /cache”
Reboot your phone
Press thanks I helped

If you need to wipe everything from your phone and take it back to factory default there are two way to perform this.
First backup your data take out your SD card or data will be lost.
On phone go into settings then Privacy and select Factory data reset.
The second way is to boot phone into recovery mode.
Power off phone
press and hold both up and down volume button and then press the power button. the recovery menu will come up. Select recovery and sit back drink a beer, once your done ,your phone will back to default.

The stock recovery doesn't actually wipe EVERYTHING.
It leaves framework and possibly the ROM you're running
I have used the RSD to flash it but my droid remains at the power up status. The animation of a flashy vedio display card(I don't know how to call it.) plays again and again. The RSD said "Please manually power up this phone."If I try to enter the recovery mode my phone will display a broken robot for a long time then reboot by itself. What can I do now?
Hold Power and Volume Down(For like 5-10 Seconds) and it will shut off, then go to the boot loader(Power + Volume Up + Volume Down) and choose recovery and Clear Cache which should fix it. If not you might have to Factory Wipe the phone.
Does anyone know the key combination of entering recovery mode?
Okay ours is a bit weird. With phone off hold power and volume down. When lg logo appears release power and press again. It'll bring up confirmation dialog on a factory reset. Ignore that and hit yes both times. It'll bring up a screen saying authorizing factory reset and then after a moment will boot into your custom recovery. Enjoy

Or flash the same ROM again .. This time clear internal data , system , dalvik cache , and then flash the ROM ! Hope this works !
