yes while on Internet Explorer or any other browser I fling my finger as hard as I can to get to the bottom of a page like in ics but now I need to do this 5 times to get to the bottom there seems to be a slowdown that doesn't allow the page to scroll smoothly it always comes to a stop as soon as I lift my finger off the screen? someone tell me I am not the only one that noticed this?
btw jb feels like a downgrade... "always, just once" wtf.
It's the same on other devices, for example galaxy s2 with 4.1.2 so it is JB.

I did and it is the same thing with both opera and the default internet app. i think they were trying to make it feel snappy and not smooth because if you touch slow it pushes but if you slide it pushes and scrolls a little bit, hitting a break and slowing down fast also diuble tap when scrolling no longer makes it go faster.

Yeah not much difference, maybe a little more stable, and a tad bit quicker.
I like use it, thanks for share.

Nice job man.
this build fixes the hardware keyboard problem for me. plus it zooms in real close while you are typing, which is good also. typing is a breeze. Also, the giant favorites got a tad better. I think they could be even a bit smaller still. it seems like i could smoothly "toss" the screen around by flicking my thumb by default on the 1026 build, but this build has a different feel when it comes to thumb navigation. lastly, it seems if i push the hardware windows start button, opera automatically goes landscape on me. anyways, that's what I've noticed so far. hope i helped! later.

i agree, i got an opportunity to use it today for about 20 minutes. Things I noticed:
- I like pie
- Opera is great for basic browsing, such as google, and better for intense data transfer
- Firefox is coming soon !!! ( from what I have been receiving within 2 weeks to a month) Where is the beta????
Very nice.
Has anyone got a mirror for this? Can't work out those pesky cats to save my life!

Yeah, what he said. Its a pain to download anything from that site. I think they do it, intentionally, so that you up-grade to Premium.
very nice, it seem to fix the issue the previous build had: didn't set opera as the default browser, this one seems to solve that. liking this build so far.

this version is soooooo much better than the most recent version from the end of may...i think it was 1126. i can't wait till they iron most the stuff out and either come w/ a RC or just the final version.

Thanks for the app. It's great!
Hey, I love this new version. I was wondering if its possible to get FlashVideoBundle to work on it? Especially since it takes over as default browser, and I've been unable to set PIE back as default, without deleting Opera. Was just wondering if there a registry hack to make FLVB work with it? Thanks.

Tap in the three xda letters; then, on the far left end of the suggestions, you should see xda itself; tap it. Once done, the bar should change to asking you if you want to add that word to the dictionary - tap that and it gets added.
Thank you.

That one raised by blood pressure more than a few points before I finally figured it out as well...
Also, if you go into Settings>Language & keyboards>Swype settings>Word suggestion and uncheck Auto-correction, it won't use the word it thinks you want in lieu of the word you typed when you hit the space key (which drove me crazy until I changed that setting).

I'm not seeing any lag with a non-overclocked NC.
Heck, it works beautifully on my Nook Color (7.0.2) and my HeroC
I was having constant lockups running CM7. I started uninstalling apps that were running services. When I uninstalled Swype, the lockups mostly stopped. I don't know if this was a coincidence. Anyone else experience lockups with Swype on CM7?
No lockups here and +1 for being super happy to have Swype on the NC. I had experimented enough to be able to hook up a usb keyboard and it worked, but it was a bit awkward using it. So I was looking for a small BT keyboard and then Swype sent me THE email. Very pleased and finally feel like my NC is all that it needs to be for my uses.
I feel very stupid, but where in the heck can I down load swype??? I go to the link but don't see a DL.
Thanks for your help

Can anyone test if their Gnote can register fast swipes using touch, simply open up the S-Memo application and put it in landscape mode then quicky swipe from the left to the right side of the screen and vice versa. I noticed this while playing fruit ninja, doesnt really present a real world issue but I just want to confirm if everyone is affected by this, Using the S-Pen does not skip any input though.
Yes i noticed that when i was playing fruit slice it would not complete the fast swipes. But when i did it slowly it worked.
I dont know why.
I have this problem sometimes with the swype keyboard: due to this two words instead of the right one is recignized!
Occurs only when I swype really fast, but especially then its very annoying!

You didn't have your Note plugged into a charger at the time did you? This can sometimes throw the touch input off when you do, especially with third party chargers.

Same here.. Next reason to change Gnote to another model... Samsung is really kidding us
I wonder if a dev can make some touch screen tweaks to check this issue out, I dont wanna miss slashing my fruits!!
Same problem here with swype... and I thought it was just me... could it be a limitation to support the Wacom stylus?
Tried KL1, KL3, LA1 stock ROMs.
Edit: BTW I use swype on potrait mode, so the problem is not just limited to landscape mode.
same problem here!, I've tested other keyboards, like slideIT, and there are no problems splitting words like in swype... so I think we could try the swype version installed in the first rom of the note, but.... how could we get it???
Its not only limited to the swype app but any fast motions with the finget dont get picked up, either try fruit ninja or the smemo.
Are you running a custom rom or just stock firmware? It could be an issue with your system lagging or running slow. Many of these custom rom's have issues with lagging even though there intended to speed up the note. Im running romow 7.5 hd right now with abyss note 3.3 overclocked to 1.7 and my fruit ninja funs like butter!

Same here - also thought it was just me, lol.
FWIW, I have a feeling that this has only started happening recently to me, over the past 2 or 3 weeks.
Seems like any rom I use (currently on cm7.2 rc1 mirage) and every one of them are terrible when I have to touch something on the edge. Like dolphin HD browser. It always takes 4 or more tries to hit the refresh button. Using speedial or desktop toggle from the slide out addons pane is just as bad.
Sent from my NookColor using Tapatalk 2
Did you try running Nook Screen Recalibrate?
Wasn't aware that existed. I can't say I notice any difference. The refresh button in dolphin is like roulette. Was the program supposed to do anything besides flash a blank screen for a bit then reset? I thought it was gonna be a touch here and there to calibrate thing.

What you saw was it. No "touch here" buttons. It helps but sensitivity at the edges will still likely be not quite as good as elsewhere on the screen. Better but not perfect.
The Nook Color's digitizer hardware and/or firmware is simply not as good as what's on other phones and tablets

That's it. It's pretty simple. You might also try a higher dpi setting. I found the NOOK app frustrating on CM using defaults -- I couldn't click the settings button -- but with a higher dpi (I like 220), it works fine. Everything's bigger, which I prefer anyhow.
There are a lot of programs to set dpi, but I use "LCD Resolution".
Myself and many other NC owners have found that using a screen protector helps with the sensitivity of the screen. I won't say it's perfect but it is a lot better than without one.

The irony is that the single worst example for this problem is the Android Nook app. It almost guarantees to drive you to the Amazon book store. I suspect B&N think they are "punishing" us for rooting, but it's only they who suffer. You listening B&N? Fix the top right buttons on your app under CM7 please. I want to use your store but it is just too painful.

So after the latest 152 update my phone scrolling seems to have been purposely made smoother, however it became really slow and I have already started hating it. I like to scroll really fast in my feeds and pages but now the phone has adopted this iPhone-like slow scrolling which I always hated.. [emoji849] Trying to find some setting deep down in settings to make it faster but no luck so far..
Is there any tip/setting that I am missing out?

Just to make my op more clear, I am not talking about choppy/laggy scrolling, it just just the scrolling speed which has been set to much slower, ie up until now if you made a fast swipe up the feed would scroll down really fast, now you have to make two three swipes at least in order to reach the same spot.

If you're rooted, grab the magisk module "swap torpedo"
What this does is eliminate the usage of a swap file, which simply isn't required when you have 6GB of RAM, you can obtain RAM truth to see what's currently in use, after installing swap torpedo and a reboot it should read 0MB
This is something that any custom ROM cook would have implemented for you, but seeing as it's a massive ballache to install custom ROMs on the Pro, most people are missing these tweaks that would normally be taken for granted.
Not hard to root if your bootloader is unlocked so give it a shot.

Looks like noone understands what you wrote, but I do, and I feel your pain.
Scrolling is significantly slower, it feels heavy. It is more smooth, but it doesn't "glide" nicely, it requires much more effort.
I noticed it instantly after the .152 update (L29 C432) and I'm looking for a solution since.
