Hi Guys,
I've been an android user for a long time now and had many handsets, however using the Xperia Z i've found that installing apps from https://play.google.com doesn't seem to work.
It's worked fine with all of my previous phones. Does anyone have any idea why it doesn't work with the Z?
It is available in the list of devices.
Thanks
Paul

What about getting the working version of facebook home for Xperia z with complete guide.
Today is 12th April launch date of the same.
I am sure someone will have an idea.
Note:
i tried the 3 files way but they didnt workd at all. so looking for a concrete solution.
Did you manage to sort this out?
Just downloaded the leaked file however it would appear that Facebook have turned something off which stops the leaked build being recognised by Facebook when you log in.
Shame, fancied trying that too.

Facebook Home isn't supported by the Xperia Z, yet. Devs could port, but not as of this moment.

Hello,
I just got my Xperia Z yesterday, i updated to .334 and rooted the phone, installed Titanium and removed some of the Junk that comes pre-loaded:
Xperia Keyboard (i use Go)
Xperia Link
Woody 2.0
Wisepilot
Track ID
Sony Car
Socialife
SlideMe Marketplace
Sakura
PlayNow
News & Weather
Moxier Pro
Mono 2.0
Games
Evernote
Now the phone is working perfectly except for one problem, i can't create folders in the App Drawer, a friend of mine has the same phone with the same firmware however he can simply drag and drop an app over the other and create a folder while it's impossible to do that on mine, any ideas?

Okay turns out that if you set the app drawer to auto organize (Most used, recently installed, etc) you lose the folders functionality all you need to do is just set it to ''My Order''.

As the title suggests, it's not really a question about Z. I've searched for some kind of an answer, but found literally none concerning my problem. I used one gmail account on my Z, but then decided to switch to another one due to some privacy related reasons. But ever since I started using the new account, Play Store decided not to link all my installed apps to that account. I have quite a number of apps on my device, but now almost none is listed under "Installed apps". So, the question is, is there any quick way to link all apps to the new account so that they are shown under Installed apps?

I still have only 16 apps listed under Installed apps tab. (I have at least 6 times more installed)

I think the "All" tab at "Installed" section shows history of all apps installed under the said account, from all devices. If you previously installed from another account, then you have to manually install on any device under the new account to show up.

Are you rooted?
If you are you could try titanium backup, it has an in build market link doctor.
It's supposed to link your apps to your account.
It will not work that way with paid apps though.
You might have to contact Google for that.

Have you tried clearing all Play Store data/caches?

Yeah, I have. Still the same.
The only "solution" I came across of is to do a factory reset and start all over, but that's really not an option. I also tried to locate accounts.db as some said this can be solved by deleting that file, but it's not located under /data/system/.

Hi,
I've sideloaded the Google Keyboard apk because it isn't available in Play Store outside of the US. This has worked on all my devices but it doesn't even bring up the keyboard once on Xperia ZR. Just shows 'this application has quit unexpectedly'. Anyone know a reason and possible fix for this? Android version isn't the problem because it's for 4.0 and up.
EDIT: Problem solved. I was using the apk from Paranoid Android gapps package and it kept FCing. No idea why. I just noticed that there was a new Google Keyboard update yesterday, so I installed that apk and it works fine now.
Hello,
Currently I am using a rooted Sony Xperia Z1 which is running the Sixaxis app. Everything is working fine but I want to add another bluetooth device. However, once the Sixaxis app has started a message appears; 'Bluetooth will be disabled while using Sixaxis controller'.
Is there a way to add another bluetooth device?
(I hope this topic is in the right section. If not, I am sorry)
Thanks in advance.
