I installed CM10 on my P7300 about two month ago and it was working great until last week. After about 10 seconds after booting into CM, the tablet enters a bootloop. I wiped everything using CWM and installed CM from zip file again but it didn't fix.
I prefer to revert to stock rom but I kinda got lost in Development section of the forum.
What should I do?
Flash the stock rom using Odin. You can get the rom from sammobile.com. you'll download a zip file. Use 7-zip to extract the .tar.md5 file from it. Use that file in odin. Put it in PDA in odin. Only have auto-reboot and f.rest checked. Flash it. That will return you to stock. You might have to do a factory reset on the recovery afterwards if you get into a boot loop
Back everything up before you start. Pictures, music, etc should not be touched during this process. But all your apps and settings will be lost.
Good luck

Find your preferred stock ROM at samfirmware (requires easy registration) and flash with Odin (1.85) should do the trick.

Hello,
I will start with saying that Ive already checked every tutorial in every android website.
here is what I did.
I had Miui (Not the ICS one) I have tried to flash CM9 with the existing recovery. than something somewhere on the flash procedure go wrong and the phone just rebooted and putted in loop with no recovery option but download option. so I tried to flash the stock rom using odin 1.85, and the phone just looping on the image of the mobile operator. I did this procedure with the odin for more stock roms I found.
thanks in advance really I need your help...

maybe you forget ‘Re-Partition’checkbox, it's important.
Hmmm.. perhaps, you have to make sure all the files are properly placed (depending on the ROM you are installing). Also, I'd recommend using a pit file (and don't forget to click on "Re-Partition".. So far, it worked for me. ^.~
Hey peeps iv got a big problem it happened yesterday with my Galaxy note GTn7000. I was on stock ICS LPT and was flashing new kernels through CWM when suddenly my phone just kept freezing on the Samsung screen when I start it up and it has been happening since yesterday. I think it was the speedmod ICS kernel that I flashed that made this happen. I flashed Abys kernel through odin and could get in to CWM. I did factory reset/wipe cache/dalvik/cache and then flashed checkrom which was on my SD card. Installation was fine but then it got stuck on the Galaxy note startup screen. I was searching for answers on the XDA forums and someone suggested that you flash a stock full wipe GB rom. So I tried to flash LC1 open Europe rom and was waiting for an hour the the rom to flash through ODIN which had only a bit left on the bar to flash and it didn’t flash it just froze. I tried 3 times and the same thing happened . I have used the USB jig to erase previous downloads and reset binary count. I flashed ICS LPT rom through odin and it flashed normally but when it starts up it gets stuck on the Samsung screen. Any suggestions? I can get into download mode and CWM so it means Im in a softbrick. Do you think I should download an ICS rom and put it on to my SD card and then try flashing it ? Help would be appreciated thanks.
Here is the video of what happens. Basically i have waited for 4 hours yesterday and it just stays on the samsung screen
Hey, Id recommend you flashing back to GB via ODIN before we continue.
ICS still has a few bugs and that could interfere with getting you back up and running.
Hey thanks i will download a new GB stock rom, i cant post the video link because im a new member dang...

So you've extracted the original tar file, you don't need to, just point the original tar file to the pda section of pc odin, it will sort out each partition for you.

Is it a rar. Or a zip? If it's a rar, re download from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997 then extract one level with 7zip to get the tar file.

was in similar situation . flashed with ICS stock ROM after entering in to download mode as described here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997 using odin on laptop method. thanks
First i had a JB Rom on my GT-I9000 it got too hot using a app so i decided to flash CM9 on it after 2sec the installtion was aborted and i was thinking that it was trying to install CWM-Recovery but it didnt after 10min of waiting, i decided to pull the battery out. I tryed to start recovery mode but there was none. I used Odin and a pit file (Re-partion was checked) than i put a Devil 3 kernel on it. Recovery Mode was working but after i wiped everything and flashed Dark Knight 5.5 on it and clicked on reboot system now, i was sent back into recovery!!!!
Please help me to solve this problem.I am not a expert in android programm so please dont let it sound complicated
Thanks for your help.
I had this two before. Nothing would work to fix it. This is what I did
1. Flash back to stock 2.3.x with 512 pit
2. Boot into stock recovery and wipe data / factory reset
3. Pull battery and reboot into bootloader/download mode
4. Flash Devil kernel or semaphore tar with Odin.
5. Reboot into recovery and flash ROM of choice
6. Restore nandroid data through advanced restore or just start fresh.

Samfirmware.com to download the stock ROM.
Pit files just tell Odin how to repartition the device when flashing. Should come with Odin when you download it. There should be an 80x as well, just use 512.
Then select to use xxxx512.pit
Flash ROM in PDA.

Try this!
Try this:
All you have to do is revert to an older version of clockworkmod, I used version 6.0.12 I believe.
the file name is: CWM6012-CM9-recovery so it might be that. Yep that's it, now i can finally rest
Thanks Byrkoet

Having looked at the thread regarding a similar predicament that I have (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1783556), I'm keen to know I can use ODIN to put on a new ROM. Basically these are the steps I've followed;
1. Used KIES to update my ROM from Gingerbread to ICS
2. Use ODIN to update root my phone with CM9 safe kernel (not knowing it would have been significantly better to have copied my new AOKP ICS ROM to the internal SD card first)
3. Rebooted my phone and cannot get past 'SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE GT-N7000' logo.
4. I can still boot into download mode and use ODIN but wondered how I should use it to install a ROM as none of the ROM's I've downloaded, are in the correct .tar, md5, smd format, that OSIN is looking for ?
Some pretty basic reading for you: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1321268

First of all, I'm not sure if this is the answer your looking for, but here is it anyway.
IN PC ODIN, there is a 'PDA' button (same button you flashed your kernel to), you need to download the ROM's zip file and flash it from there.
Stock ROM file you download is zip, you need to extract it one time to get into .tar, then you can use that file with pda of odin.

Would these be the files needed to get my phone back up and running? I am new to Android and screwed my phone up after a factory reset, now it just reads downloading for ages and does nothing. I still get a screen that reads Hyperdroid RedPill Recovery when i power on with volume button up pressed. Volume down I get Android man and it reads downloading but does nothing.
I have looked all over for this situation but seem to get a piece here and there and not the exact same issue all in one so I am reluctant to just do something and make it worse.
Please advise
That is downloading mod, it won't do anything but remain as it is, if you don't do anything.
You need to connect you device to PC in this state and have to use odin
Read 1st line on my sign and read post#2, you will get full instruction, how to use odin.

I need to flash a stock ROM on my original Note, so I downloaded a stock ROM zip file from Sammobile and stored it on my internal memory. The current ROM on my Note is the Union ROM LT4, with the latest Speedmod kernel. I went into recovery, wiped data and did factory reset, and then tried to flash the new stock ROM by selecting the zip file, but the flashing fails. I'm not sure why this is happening. Am I missing something?
