Hi guys! I want to ask you something, namely does the Xperia T support [native or no (by installing it from play store) (i' wont install custom rom or other things whose avoid warrancy)] adobe flash player for watching online streams e.g. twitch.tv?
I'm going to buy it soon and it's important for me.
(sorry for bad english)
@edit
This phone will come to me probably with android 4.0.4
Is available update to Jelly Bean?
@edit2
Can I f*ck up the phone by it? I'm completly green with it. I have never before flash phone.
yes, just search for it on xda and flash it.
Also, flashing custom roms does not void warrenty, neither does installing apks from other places than the play store.
Rooting, does not void warrenty either....

Hi,
Can some one provide some info?
Market doesn't allow to download adobe flash player onto Android 2.2 - Rom: 3.14.161.1
thanks
Could you be more specific? What error do you get?
I'm not an expert, but as mentioned 1000 times before (you would know this if you would have used the search button) flash on legend isn't supported due to technical specifications.
So that's why I expect no new kernel bring us flash on legend.
If I misunderstood something all the time reading in this forum please feel free to correct me!

As i know flash 10.1 is alredy installed in modacos froyo sense rom for example, i can watch some flash movies, not all, but a few
Find the .apk on Google and install it if you must. You'll see it doesn't work.

That's Flash Lite. Enough for me and most other users unless you want to play Facebook games or watch some streams and stuff. There is an old article with an Adobe employee's statement regarding full Flash on "older" Android phones.
http://androidandme.com/2010/02/news/no-flash-10-1-for-1st-gen-android-phones/
Should still be valid so no chance to see it officially supported, I guess.
Don't be too disappointed though. I have tried Flash on my buddy's Desire. Considering the Legend's screen size, we don't miss much. Would still be nice to have it though.
Flash lite 10.1 seems to be installed on froyo ota vodafone rom.
I can basicly open anything i couldnt before so yes , it's been implemented somehow dont ask me why or how but it's not adobe's flash version.
I can even watch stream movies wich previously it warned me to install flash 9 or above.
EDIT: Wrong it actualy is adobe flash as i just got a Adobe Flash warning
telling me the follow error "This type of media is not supported."
If you use flash detect script in your browser shows flash 10.1 r123 and detect adobe flash playet.

Hey guys
i flash ics roms daily and i cant settle on one of them because the stock ics video player cant play all formats, especially MKVs, and most play store video players cant do that either.
So i was wondering if there's a way to install samsung's stock video player in any ics aosp, aokp, ics stunner rom.I tried to install it but it says application not installed.I found it in Alba's tom which is ics so there has to be a way.
Thanks in advance,,,

No ways the samsung stock player gonna work in AOSP or AOKP unless some dev really gets hell bent on it and do some really hard sh3t code magic. And believe me the devs have more imp things to do than going for this ;-)
Cheers!
P. S. U tried moboplayer? Or mxplayer after downloading their requisite codecs???
BOOMED from my BOMBASTIC NOTE
Thanks
Thanks you for replying, i really appreciate it.
I was actually just trying out mx player and it did work almost perfectly,
but i could not download mobo's codecs, guess its their server or host,i dont know what its called.
Thanks A Lot
any one get flash player working with CM10 or PAC Roms??? i tried all flash player listed for ICS non of them worked, the result any browser will stuck when i try to run flash player.
You try with slim rom ?
Have you tried searching for a solution? Google brings up tons of results --> https://www.google.ca/search?q=adobe+flash+jelly+bean
i tried all these flash player ,the one for ICS non of them worked. also i tried them on slimbeans,CM10 and PAcman roms. flash player work fine on CM9 android 4.0.4 but not on 4.1.2.
This specific method (link) claims that Flash only works in Dolphin Browser HD 8.5.1 (specific version) and it may also be laggy and/or buggy. Probably your best option, I would think.
Honestly, Flash is just a thing of the past, and it needs to die already. Most major Flash-enabled sites have switched over to HTML5 already, and those who haven't probably will soon once they notice their analytics are dropping off. Mozilla is working on a SWF player for Android, and I actually disagree with it. The web needs to move on from Flash. When these tools are made to keep a dead format going, nobody is going to innovate for a better future. HTML5 is worlds beyond Flash, so why even bother with the obsolete and cumbersome product?

Sorry
Hi,
I have a problem with all xperia stock roms with the mediaserver process. It is always running while I listen to music (which is a lot of time) and drains a lot of battery (up to 65%). Though I use poweramp player which is totally independent of the process (own library and decoder). There must be some process to improve soundquality or something like it. On my Desire S on CM11 I don't have the issue this is why I want to move to a custom rom. I'm on 4.3 now (was hoping this would fix the issue) and want to root and full backup with keys for warranty purposes and then move to a custom rom.
Is it right that I have to downgrade first, since there is no root for 4.3 yet? If yes, what ROM? I have a C5303 and don't know what version I had previously. I bought it in Switzerland without SIMlock or any branding. Is there a way I can find out what my previous version was or can I basically just use any generic C5303 version?
Would you recommend 12.0.A.1.284 in order to be able to use DoomLords rootkit: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...3#post42701183 ?
It's just that I don't know if I ever was on this version, also regarding warranty...
I know, many questions and I opened a new thread jst for this. I tried to find help in other threads, but didn't. I just reached a point where I don't seem to get further without asking. I tried to be as specific as possible and hope someone can clarify some of them.
Thanks in advance!
Answers to all the questions:
- Mediaserver will always run when media is being played (music/movie) this also happend on my Galaxy S+ with CyanogenMod
- Rooting can be done by downgrading back to 4.1.2 stock 254 is good... (see my how to about flashing), root is with doomlords method
- Version of 4.1.2 doenst matter you can use a Generic one if you want. Some versions have some extra bloatware

If you deactivate some apps/processes like SondFX (and possibly SoundFX) and use a player I think you can listen to music it without mediaserver.
(some more on that: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2116076)
With my desire s it actually already isn't active without deactivating anything. just by using poweramp. I can listen to music 8 hours without using more than 20% battery or so. What I get with my SP is just frustrating since I bought it for the nice battery size-processor relation...
Thank you very much for your reply!
So you could disable soundFX (Dutch Geluidsverbeteringen) and try again?? I've disabled it and altho the music is not as nice as i had it with soundfx it still plays.. I'll perform some extra tests.. This is interesting
flashing .284 wouldn't be a good option?! because then I could use DoomLords flashtool directly without having to do the workaround....
Doesnt matter if you flash 254 and follow the tutorial

Guy a noob here I am using a Xperia SP with 4.3 original ROM but i wanted to install the PACMAN or the CM11 ROM as CM12 is really unstable. I just wanted to know if there is any possible way to have the sony bloatware with the custom ROM because i use it with my Bravia smart TV like the NFC mirroring etc.
