[Bootanimation] Motorola (w/o AT&T logo) - Motorola Atrix HD

Well, I have an AT&T Atrix HD so everytime it boots, it show Motorola animation then next is AT&T. I love Moto but dont like the AT&T logo so I decided to re-compress it and remove AT&T animation. If u're interested in this, just download in the link below.
HOW TO CHANGE:
- Copy and relace file bootanimation.zip in /system/media
- Set permission rw-r-r as this:
x x o
x o o
x o o
(x is tick, o is non-tick)

U're welcome

Since you're a recognized themer, I have a question for you -- Know an easy way to batch resize XXHDPI to XHDPI on Linux? I can't seem to find method other than one app at a time, which is really tedious when you have around 200 apks. Windows has all sorts of ways. Those Bastards

Do u have information about how many percents XHDPI equal XXHDPI? As in my previous devices, it's mdpi and equal 66% of HDPI. If u know, tell me and I can try to make a tool . Not sure but I can try

Yep, its 66% or 144x144 to 96x96.
Sometimes I'd like to pirate a copy of Windows just to run a few of the dev tools on here...I have no other use for Windows other than the few win-only tools on XDA

Remember WINE isn't Windows, it just allows you run programs at reduced compatibility.
There are ways of increasing to compatibility, but it's not perfect. There's only so much you can do on linux at the moment.
Best solution is to dual-boot, live/persistent modes or just use 2 different PCs.

Wow awesome! Thanks! I hated that ATT logo as well!

ROM Toolbox can make any animated GIF into a boot animation for you. Works great for me. Andy pisses on Apple every time...
You know what they say... Once you go Android, you don't go back. Flashaholic for sure.

Thanks Bro

[Boot Animation]QVGA|HVGA|WVGA= Pac Droid game/eats-apple v0.4

Here's a pac-man'esque boot-animation,
I've created a version for HVGA(320X480), QVGA(240X320) and WVGA(480X800) devices.

}
Links contain the first and second animation-
2.1+ HVGA PAC-DROID-GAME.
2.1+ QVGA PAC-DROID-GAME.
2.1+ WVGA PAC-DROID-GAME.
Links contains the second animation only-
2.1+ HVGA PAC-APPLE.
2.1+ QVGA PAC-APPLE.
2.1+ WVGA PAC-APPLE.
Updated the animations to 24 bit png, resulting in better quality than the original 8 bit.
To use, flash from recovery or unpack to C:\ and push boot-animation via adb with the following command-
adb push C:\bootanimation.zip /system/media/
or
adb push C:\bootanimation.zip system/customize/resource/
NOTE:Flash zips installs to system/media
Hope you like it, let me know what you think.
it looks good can u please make 1 for qvga screen??
I'll try and rustle one up for you when I get a few hours
I like it.. Im using this for sure.
edit.. too bad, I cant use it on my Streak
Added QVGA and WVGA versions to first post.
If people could be so kind to tell me if they work or not as i'm stuck with a HVGA screen.
Thank you.
Lots of downloads but no replies, I take it these work?!
does this work for evo running warm 2.2 rls5
why is the apple not silver like this one... http://i.zdnet.com/blogs/apple-logo1.jpg

I originally had it chrome but wanted a bit of colour, I think it looks better as a juicy red apple.
I only want the "eat apple" in WVGA (or FWVGA for my X10). How to do? The first pack contains pacman as well, and I can not change the zip to have only the "eat apple". The second pack contains "eat apple" but only in HVGA
Added, second animation only for QVGA and WVGA.
i cant seem to get it to work, cleared everything and flashed in recovery and nothing really like this and have been trying to get it up and running.
have trird flashing from recovery,adb push,astro. anyone know another way not listed. thx
Nice animations.
Can I include PacDroid in UOT kitchen http://circle.glx.nl ?

can get other ones to load up that i got off of the warm 2.2 update page any way you can take a look and see if there is some difference that will allow me to use this one. thx tried every other way that people have said to use.
I'm guessing its installing to the wrong directory.
These install to system>media
I think evo needs to be customize>resource??
I'll have a look when I get home if you haven't solved it already.

@dased14,
After a little mooch around it would seem i was right, you need to install to system>customize>resource.

Honeycomb-esque Pandora widget

I made this for myself... it's also in the Vibrant theme forum, but I figured you guys over here may be interested in it.
If anyone has any requests (Perhaps other colors?) I can try to churn those out, might not be at top speed this week (exams! D: ) but I shall try.

As you can see the notification bar Icon is themed also, it's transparent. There's also a themed app icon. And of course, the widget has been themed. It's the latest version of Pandora as of now, I'll try to keep that current too.
Let me know if anyone wants other colors!
Could you make an Orange version?

Alternative
If anyone would like an alternative honeycomb-esque one, I released one in the Captivate forums, but I figure I could share here too for anyone who wants to use it (or modify it). Make sure to uninstall any previous version beforehand.
Orange version attached (Here and in OP).
And nicely done Kaik!I like how you did the edges of the inner box... Did you apply a lighter gaussian blur?
I used resources from the xoom dump and modified them instead of attempting to recreate the coloration/effect
Thanks AWESOME!!!

I'm going to say you probably have to use a filemanager to push them to system/app, I don't know how to sign .apk's, or whatever you have to do to make them work with installer.

bootanimation question in swiftdroid

Hey everyone, i just created a boot animation for my GT540, im a big fan of swiftdroid, anyway... heres my problem
i moved it to Root://System/Media
So i have 2parts in my bootanimation
Part0 which plays only 1 time and goes first:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Part1 which loops and goes after part0:
Everything works good and i really like my work, but the problem is, I see Default Swiftdroid logo at the start for like 10sec, and only after few seconds my animations pops up, is there anyway to remove the Default swiftdroid logo so my new animation would replace the Default swiftdroid logo completely ?
If you guys can help me, ill provide link of my animation, and instructions how to install it :S
a video will describe my problem better ( sorry for low quality, i just didnt had a better camera to film it )
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOtODDxYOUw my animation starts only at ~0:45sec
The swiftdroid logo is held in the kernel but if i remember there is a way to replace on the htc g1 ill have a look for you.

i dont know if it just on my computer but it look to me that part1 coud cause someone an epileptic fit.
@eoghan2t7
it would involve using the dump_image binay to extranct the boot.img. then decompiling it, replacing the image(i think it in the ram disk which also needs decompiling separatle), then recompiling boot.img and flashing it.

It is the initlogo.rle file that is shown on boot, it is in the root of the ramdisk. Just use dsixda's Android Kitchen to extract the boot.img file, much easier than manually doing it.
