htc tytn II touch screen doesn't work.

Hi all
I have problems with the TyTN II touch screen works when i start but after few minutes it no longer works
worked well but I found it like that I ran off the battery and after i powerd teh device the touch screen wooden't work
i fash it again and it worked fin for a few minutes and after it don't
i have hard reset the pda but with no succes
please help me

Did you hard reset your device? Try that and see if that can solve your problem.

yes i did that but nothing happened
after i install the new ROM the touchscreen works for a few minutes then it's dead.i tried to install the hard spl but it keeps disconnecting.

Have you even check if your sim door lock...is ok?. Can you get into bootloader and flash another rom.
I have the feeling your problem is hardware r u still in warranty?

yes its locked
yes i can but it keeps disconecting when screen loading starts
the original rom iti instaling fine butthe hard spl its keeps disconeting and not finising the instalation process
if iti a hard problem how its work fin when i instal new rom and if it stays closed it work when i power on for a few minutes i dont think its hard problem but i dont know what to say
it's not in warranty
i really dont know it happend with him it worked perfect in one night i runn out of baterry and in the morning i find it in the welcome windows screen tab screen to continue and after that it stop working i dont really know what could happend

i will not give up until i have a solution for my problem
please help me

Still sounds like the battery to me.
Did you try a new, fully charged battery ?

If you are getting stuck at 0% maybe you had a wrong hardslp flash. Read these threads, they are experiencing about your problem http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=433835&page=52

I have also problem with touch scree, about couple of weeks ago it started not to aim very well (eg. i touch the place and the responce was about 5mm in the other place) but i was recalibrating my screen and for a few days it was working fine, than another calibration and another, after that that was a time when it started not to work at all for for eg. 2 days, than it worked for a while and now it's not working for about 3 weeks.
I need to change whole lcd + digitizer or just digitizer (how to check it?). Should i change it by myself (i don't have those little screwdrivers) or take it to professional service (but they usually say they won't do it whith parts from ebay bcs they'r not original.

[Q] [q] the rarest mysterious problem on xperia

I've been searching for internet for weeks and i still coudn't find the solution for this thing ..... my screen scrambles and jumbles everytime i connect to the internet using 3g....3dge.. etc but not wifi
here is my phone's background:
when i purchased it it has no problems at all...
after 1 and half years due to daily use keypad gets hard to press and the screen has a lot of scratches casing too..
so i decided to change the case of the xperia an the tft resistive touchscreen and clean the whole thing..
after putting it all back together it runs fine... checking the landscape camera wifi etc..
i decided to change rom because i think i could make it so new that even the os is changed...
i follow the basic process and it work fine..
after a week i notice that when i connect to the internet 3g... it jumbles the pixels of the screen in the upper part of the x1 even on landscape mode.. it is still there....
i searched the internet and i found old questions never been answered;;

i never change to 6.1 because of it's lack of features..

dude, seriously. no one answered? it's very common tiling issues. yours just happend due the notification icons animation. most probable cause is vga driver. search for alternative driver.

No idea dude. But you may try to reflash your X1 to other ROM. I had been facing almost similar connection problem, but mine, the WiFi is undetectable. So I try to reflash my ROM with other ROM. Fortunately, it's working back.

this might be some app problem rather than rom/driver issue although some rom/driver handle it better. i just experience the exact issue after installing weather4me app. disabling refresh(update weather) during startup solved mine. maybe there's background app/process that doing something similiar causing it.

I see 3 possible reasons for this behavior:
- the displaydriver of the 6.5-rom is not really compatible to the hardware.
To check this you can flash the original rom and test if everything works.
- the radio interferes the communication between display and board.
This can happen when the device is not reassembled as original
(broken/removed shielding, dust/dirt in connectors while reconnecting,...).
To check this you have to reassemble the phone again.
- damaged hardware thru electrostatic discharge when touching the electronics.
Unfortunately this can not be checked or repaired. You can only guess if this is a possible reason by answering this questions to you:
- did you wear part-synthetic clothes while working on the electronics ?
(this forces electrostatic charge)
- did you discharge "yourself" every some minutes by touching a grounded point ?
- did you lay the electronics on a plastic ground ?

[Q] Milestone touch screen problem???

Yesterday when i take my milestone out of my pocket I noticed that the Settings touch button(second from left) wasn't working, every other "bar" button was working fine, except that one. Then I noticed there's a vertical line, that goes from the Setting button to the top of the phone that doesn't work. It simply stopped working... Some1 Help me pliz. It' s a Software or Hardware problem, and if it's a Software problem this thing will solve my problem??

same with my phone, may be digitizer was broken

Are u using a custom Rom or the Original ? My touchscreen had a similar issue, and reflashing the ROM solved it. It took 2 flashes, but the issue is gone.
Dont know if yours is the same, but if the issue still remains, atleast it can confirmed that its a hardware issue and not a software one.

I have used CM6 on my phone, but when i got this issue, i made my phone back to 2.1. The problem is still standing.

uh oh. Looks like a Hardware issue then. U still might wanna take to the store and get it verified. Is it still under warranty ? Any possibility of an exchange ?

I have tried flashing, factory resets, and whatever I can do, but still no changed,, so I tried to ask the closest customer service and they said that it's the touchscreen panel must be thrown away to get the new one..
is it really true ?

I have a mililar problem, right side of screen wont work... flash to 2.1 dont slove this problem

I was having the same problem with the column of numbers 3, 6, 9 of dialpad. Looking for the solution in google, I have read that this problem is probably caused due to the moisture... so yesterday I turned of my milestone, removed the battery, SIM and SD cards and left it inside an enviromental chamber @ +70 celsius degress for 1 hour and guess what? Problem solved!
I hope that it works for anyone that are having the same problem!

I have had good success with a combo of rice (inside a ziplock bag) to absorb humidity and/or a toaster over at the lowest bake setting.
Worked on MANY electronic devices over the years.

Same problem here. I've solved it by changing the digitizer (ebay 25 euros). Works fine now but in the mean time I change for a Desire HD... good by Milestone !
If you decide to change the digitizer, be patient, fixing th Milestone is not an user friendly task But if you take your time it's ok !

ive the same problem, and i believe that's because of moisture. because every time when its raining except the problem with right side of screen im not even able to use the phone touch screen doesn't work at all and the phone just does something by itself! this issue started with small vertical bar from right side of screen and it growing everyday now im not able to use right side of screen till home button.
i want to know do i have to replace touchscreen or i can fix it with something to absorb humidity?

[Q] Touchscreen Problem

i am finding it difficult to chat with someone because when i type 4 or 5 words some keys are automatically pressed. in my case they are "s" and "d".
this is also sometimes experienced in menu options and random opening of applications from homescreen.
please help me...

EDIT : the same issue was experienced in lg optimus one (p500) and was fixed by a bug fix

it happens sometimes but only when im using at launcher other than the stock....never happens with the stock....but its very rare nd it goes when i lock the screen...

never happened wid me.. may be its software problem.. as if it had been a hardware, then u wud be facing problems in other application and games too..

I've other problems concerned the touchscreen or touch-wiz or else.
- Sometimes a call rings, when I slide the finger on the touchscreen to answer the call what happens is that the call stays on but the phone keep vibrating and I can't do nothing but turn the phone off. The call can't be heard.
- Also sometimes when I hang a call because the other side not answer I touch the screen but nothing happens. The call stays on. Solution: Power off the phone.
- Other times when in a call after 40 seconds the call stays on but the sound off.
I did a factory reset and at this moment I don't have any extra app instaled, to see if these problems persists,
What I need to know is if someone had this problems with this model.

I updated my friend's SGA to Villain ROM and she is facing the same issue.. Its a touch calibration problem.. Unable to use the keyboard, it keeps typing something else. I am upgrading to the Code ROM.

this issued is being faced in every 2.3 rom by me

Trying ur original stock fw if problem still persists then something wrong with ur touchscreen hardware and its calibration.
As other users r not facing this problem this is not bug.

stock rom is working fine without any problem but as I flashes european firmware this problem starts...

One of the likely causes is the CPU hitting maximum, and thus the touchscreen doesn't respond I am getting this sort of thing a lot more often.

Im also having the same problem in every rom i try.... n it really annoying when i must retype the message again n again... can someone help me? how to recalibrate the touchscreen? thanks before

[Q] Galaxy S I9000 -no sound after deep sleep

Hi All,
I've got a very strange problem:
The sound on my I9000 comes and goes rather randomly (goes more often that it comes).
When I switch the phone on, I have sound, but after the phone enters a few minutes of deep sleep the sound is gone.
I have flashed it several times but the problem persists.
I took it to the repair shop the other day and they say I need a new mainboard.
Has anyone else encountered this?
What other (less major) component could be causing this?

I was on froyo w speedmod kernel when is started.
Problem persists on gingerbread (I tried 2 different versions).
Mic doesn't work either.
Any ideas?

Hmm maybe you really need a new mainboard but I'm not sure.

you can use trouble shooting chart in i9000 technician manual, download from My Guides and Manuals
suggest you check your earphone , clean first, use a earphone jack to plug in and out a few times
