i guess you flashed the recovery on your boot partition. if thats the case reflash boot.img
but try first to wipe your cache partition via cwm/twrp

Welcome to our forum , I hope you will find wgat you need .
That happened Because you installed it on "mmcblk0p2" which is the kernel partition . Every time the phone try to boot it use the recovery image .
However .. use this tool :-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2230934
flash a kernel and recovery .
Good Luck
#------------------------------------------
echo "Sender.product.model=LG-P880" # (O4X) .
if [ $thanks -eq $pressed ] ; then
thanks_meter=$((${thanks_meter} + 1)) ; fi #Press it
So I have to install V20A again and other instalations ? Because I don't know how to flash kenel and recovery if my phone is in this state.
just use the tool in the post above you. GBootMenu can boot directly into fastboot and adb is also working while being in recovery

Ok, I don't know how, but everything is ok now. Thanks.
Same problem
I have exact same problem (phone boots into recovery) after installing Gmodboot menu. It is still unclear how i could fix the boot. If anyone could help me with that, i would appreciate this. Thank you.
---------- Post added at 09:15 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:36 PM ----------
The reason why it is always boots into recovery is that the System partition is unmounted. You can mount it by entering in any recovery and mounting system partition.
Note: Custom recovery will prevent you from restoring your phone from PCsuite.

Go back to the CM guide and pay attention to the tutorial.
You need 6.0.3.1
Install ROM Manager.

Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830
I am trying to replace PhilZ Recovery 6.23.9 cooper with CWM-6.0.5.3_1-cooper.zip to be able to update CM11 RC7 to RC12 but I get the error message:
E:footer is wrong
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
Does anyone know what this error means or how to resolve it, what is the correct procedure for updating Recovery?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Disable signature verification in philz.

Hi Mardon,
Thank you very much for your reply. It sounds simple but how do you disable signature verification in PhilZ? I have booted into recovery and looked through all PhilZ settings but I can't find that one?
Thank you again for your time.
---------- Post added at 05:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:49 PM ----------
It's OK I think I've figured it out! Thank you again Mardon.
S5830 - entering into recovery problem - after installing CWM 6.0.5.3_1 -
Earlier I had stock recovery, I installed CWM 6.0.5.3_1 (I renamed file name to update.zip and proceeded with instalation - it was succesfully compleated).
Now when I'm pressing Home + Power buttons - only Samsung logo will appears.
I can't change the recovery in Terminal Emulator because flash_image command can't find the specified recovery.img file. Thanks for any help
CWM versions
Hi,
I have a Samsung GT-S5830 with "PhilZ.Recovery.6.23.9.Cooper" installed and successfully flashed with CM10.2.
All attempts at flashing the CM11 end with "error 0".
Assuming that the culprit is the CWM version that I have on the phone,
- would it be safe to flash the "CWM-6.0.5.3_1-cooper" first and then
- follow with CM11 ROM?
Many thanks, Mike

Agh, I see this thread begins with similar question.
So I guess the question remains - how to disable the signature verification in PhilZ...?
Click to collapse
Oooh... got it.
So, from PhilZ Recovery
- "Install zip"
- Make sure that "Signature verification" is not selected (ticked - "x")
- then Select the "CWM-6.0.5.3_1-cooper" and Confirm
after you see the message "Reboot recovery"
- Go to "Power Options" and
- "Reboot recovery"
... and all is good. Recovery shows: "CWM-based Recovery V6.0.5.3"
Thanks!

Hello to all fórum users. I need help with mine S5830. I follow a tutorial to get unlock code and after I restart phone was bricked. Now, when I power on it starts blinking. I can go to downloading mode, I tryed some versions of ODIN, as firmwares, one file and multi-file, tried under Windows 7 and 8.1, tried some drivers but the result is the same. ODIN program recognizes phone, starts flashing but when it restarts phone only starts blinking. Please help me
Please, anyone can help me, i`ve been 3 days long seeing tutorials but I can´t find what I´m doing wrong.

Does ODIN V4.38 compatible with windows 7 64bits?
I pay 10€ with paypal to who resolve my problem.

You must use a older version of Odin. I use a Odin version from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2609021. And try to use another cable.
Hi JanniekM00, and thank´s for the help, but the ODIN version in that page that you said is newer than mine. It is the V4.42. I tried it to but no luck. I tried with a diferente usb cable, one file and multi-file but nothing.
The version of android installed in phone before it as bricked was FROYO.
I am trying with GINGERBREAD roms. Can that be the problem?
I wanted to try with a FROYO rom but I can´t find anywere.

Hi Viper, I mean that after ODIN restart phone to install firmware, it restart but blinking, light on and off, on and off, and to stop I have to take out the batterie.
Try to installiert a custom recovery if you didnt do yet. Then install with the recovery the Rom you wish.
If you bricked your phone and dont have a backup you cant restore the imei.

Our problem is there's NO a secure way to back up/restore IMEI partition, so you can corrupt the partition when you try it
Hello.
My phone is a SM-G903F with an android version of 6.0.1 and with an architecture of armeabi-v7a.
I have a problem because when I try to install the TWRP tar file (dl.twrp.me/s5neolte/) through ODIN it all goes perfectly well, I install it in the download mode and after installing it, it automatically resets but when I now open the recovery mode it goes in the stock recovery mode and not the TWRP recovery mode.
I basically follow exactly the instructions in this video youtube.com/watch?v=3-lwdZhdZWM but I always end up in the stock recovery mode.
Can anyone help me or suggest anything I can do?
Thank you very much,
Enrique
You have to unselect auto-reboot, shut down your phone (or remove the battery) after flashing TWRP and then manually boot into recovery.
