Speed Dial Enabler
After updating my ROM to the latest firmware I noticed I had lost speed dial, so I have fixed it. I will include it in my next ROM, but for now you can download and test it here.
It works on my ROM (Based on 9.1.A.1.140 Xperia T) but it may work on other phones and firmware. Please test and report back. This just adds the speed dial function, it will not change any custom UI you may have.
Confirmed working on

What firmware is that rom based on? Also what was the error, did it flash successfully but did not work, or did it say it failed to flash?
What does this really edit?
I've changed the same values for original SemcPhone.apk but I don't have Speed Dial @[email protected]"
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<resources>
<bool name="dual_mic_noise_suppression_enabled">true</bool>
<bool name="show_setting_for_dual_mic_noise_suppression">true</bool>
<bool name="enable_call_recording">true</bool>
<bool name="data_connection_except_mms_show_icon_when_enabled">false</bool>
<bool name="data_connection_except_mms_show_icon_when_disabled">false</bool>
<bool name="enable_sound_enhancement">true</bool>
<bool name="enable_speaker_voice_enhancement">true</bool>
</resources>
It does not edit the phone.apk but adds an overlay.
Look in the file path of the .zip and you will see what it does
cuz I have decompile the apk in the zip, and seen the code above
there are same lines in the semcphone.apk
I think the overlay you want to mention like those codes above are overlaying the original ones.
but I've modified all the values exactly the same, but it still not works?

thanks for this mod, but why are there 2 meta-inf folders in the zip and not only one?
didn't flash because of that yet. thanks

When I download the file using my phone I get the two meta-inf files but when I download it from my PC I do not get them.

It's been a long time used stock rom, so I dunoo the framework that stock have depend on xml colour code or png image to alter the notification bar.
But if the stock is png based,
-Extract framework-res apk from /system/framework.
-search for stock notification png image which look like your present one.
-replace the png exactly the same resolution with the modded one
-repack framework-res.apk
- make CWM of original framework-res.apk and modded one
-flash modded one.
-bootloop or stuck, flash back the original and use theme

Is it possible to make a system image of the xperia v jb firmware for flashing in bootloader? I tried flashing via flashtool but the phone cannot stay in flash mode. I also tried flashing kernel then installing zip in recovery but i'll just boot into a image with an exclamation mark with a phone beside it. I'm currently on cm10.1 but i really want to go back to stock sony jb. If it is not possible to make img then is there any other way to put stock back into the phone?
Re: [Q] system.img for xperia v
Really? No one knows?
Sent from my Xperia V using xda app-developers app
I am wondering why your phone wouldn't stay in flash mode.
Anyway, try to install using Supersport ROM.
Just to make sure: do you actually see an image which shows a triangle with a spanner and screwdriver in it? If so, then you might have to wait for a couple of hours for it to go away. I left it overnight and my battery monitoring widget shows that my V was down for a couple of hours, before booting up and going to the home screen.
Re: [Q] system.img for xperia v
You have to make a .ftf file and flash it.

How do I customise the signature on xda premium app?
Re: [Q] system.img for xperia v
Thanks, I'll try when in have time to risk the phone. Anyway its not the sign youre talking about. Mines just an exclamation mark beside a phone. Fyi if it might help I was trying to flash the stock ftf when flash tool on mac crashed. I suspect a corruption in some partition used by the stock ROM as I can use any custom ROM but not stock based ROMs. Any ideas?

Ahh, no
But it will download the latest FW for you and then you can create a FTF file using the instructions from the all in one thread, then flash that.
If you have issues with flashmode then you mus wait for flashtool to tell you to go into flashmode first.
Also, you can flash a stock based rom from the dev section to go back to stock.
Re: [Q] system.img for xperia v
Ok, thanks I'll try the flash tool thing. And flashing stock roms is the thing that doesnt work, as I've said in the op

Yes, but it should work..can you try it again and if it fails can you post the log output from flashtool so we can see the error.
Also, which FTF file are you trying to flash, please provide the link.
Re: [Q] system.img for xperia v
Flashing the boot works, flashing the ROM in recovery works, but booting doesn't. It'll boot to the Sony boot screen with the 'Sony' word on it, then it'll go into the screen with an image of a phone and an exclamation mark. Then it'll reboot and do the same thing and so on. And the ftf is the stock jb ftf from the dev forum
Sent from my Xperia V using xda app-developers app
OK, which stock ftf are you flashing? Please provide the link. I want to know this because I find any ftf files in the dev section for the V.
Also, please post the output from flashtool when you flash the stock ftf.

Hey Guys,
I have no idea what the issue is with this. I'm running CM 10.2.
Baseband: 9x15A-ACEFWMAZQ-30110057-39
I have tried flashing the baseband from 10.3.1.A.2.67 (9x15A-ACEFWMAZQ-30110068-44) and 10.3.1.A.2.74 (9x15A-ACEFWMAZQ-30110068-47) via FlashTool, and always says successful, but when I go to Settings > About Phone, the Baseband Version always reports 9x15A-ACEFWMAZQ-30110057-39.
Any ideas?
Nothing wrong, only the about phone is incorrect but the baseband has been changed, cause flashing baseband doesn't change the system files related.

Ah right, too easy. Know which files need editing?
maybe changing build.prop
from: ro.build.fingerprint=Sony/C6603_1270-6697/C6603:4.2.2/10.3.A.0.423/WP5_rg:user/release-keys

Or decompile the System-UI.apk and change it.

Not likely. Unfortunately CM for Odin and Yuga specifically is somewhat behind other phones and most of the nightlies only contain generic CM/AOSP updates. I think the ROM libs etc. are still based on 423. A thorough Odin/Yuga update would be welcome.
My own CM builds for Odin does show 44, the official nightlies don't, for interest.
The baseband needs to have updated RIL files in /system/lib to reflect the radio being used.
In any case, I'm not sure why you are bothered by the fact that CM displays 39 in lieu of 44 or later. There is no tangible difference, and it is just text...
You need to update etc/firmware folder i can upload flashable zip but dont know if it will works on Cm..

On Xperia 2011 line-up, you could change baseband after flashing proper BB libs in recovery. First flash baseband in flashtool, then flash proper libs in recovery.
This should be the same on the Z, if it can be done right. I can look into it?

Hi, I read about this on Xataka:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sonymobile.android.addoncamera.timeshift
It seems to be only for Xperia with 4.2+, and by the moment its confirmed for Z's family at least, someone with the 4.3 leaked can confirm if its available for T and V?
If google play dont let you install on T and V there is some way to made it work without installing Z1's camera mod? I supose maybe only need to install Z1's framework and get the .apk
Thanks to the one who test it, I have the V since a week ago, but im trying to calibrate the battery so i prefer dont be flashing 4.3 by the moment
