if this doesnt work you could try downloading Flashtool and flashing a ftf, for flashmode you gotta turn off your device (by pressing power+vol up), and then when disconnecteed and turned off press vol up, and hold then connect device to pc!

No.
Just turn of in the normal way, no need to do the power button and volume up.
Also to enter flashmode, it's the volume DOWN button whilst attaching the usb cable

[Q] Can't get into Fastboot

Hello guys, I have a little issue here, I'm trying to get my phone to CyanogenMod 10.1 on my new Xperia T. I rooted the phone, all went ok, now I am trying to unlock the bootloader following the sony website instructions. The problem is that when I am asked to reboot to fastboot (I do VolUp and connect the usb cable at the same time) the led turns blue, but just for 5-6 seconds. Then it reboots to charging mode.
What am I doing wrong?
Press volume down

[Tool][Unlocker][April - 01]3rd Party Bootloader Unlock tool

Hi all,
I have managed to create a third party tool that will unlock the bootloader of the Xperia T (It should work on Xperia TX/TL/V users as well) where the service menu says "bootloader unlock allowed:= No"
Downloading this will NOT break Bravia or track ID or anything else
If you have previously unlocked via the official way then downloading this will work for you too
It works by utilising a new release of a .zip archive and incorporating .img (Images) files that will guide you through the process.
All you need to do is:-
Download the attachment.
Save it on your desktop
Extract the contents to your desktop and read the instructions.
It should work on PC's and Macs
Please report back what you think.

This is a special flashmode
"Qualcomm download flashmode"
and its used by Sony engineers to "force" a locked bootloader to flashmode when it doesnt want to. Its not normally needed but for some non Xperia devices it is
Does that work in xperia tx????

Please help to unbrick my xperia z

I am in an awkward situation.
xperia z, 4.2.2 244 rooted stock rom, bootloader locked, usb debug mode off, recovery not installed.
I accidentally corrupted build.prop and the phone bricked.
I cannot use flashtool to flash the stock rom back because usb debug mode is off.
I cannot use Sony update service Pro to force update because it said that "your phone already has the latest available software installed".
I cannot use PC Companion to repair because the software said that "Sony update engine doesn't have software available for your phone".
Please help.

You can use Flashtool to flash stock rom, doesn't matter if usb debug mode is on or off (only needed to install recovery or to root)
Download stock rom, install flashtool + drivers and follow screen instructions.. Good Luck! :good:

Just follow the flashtool instruction and re-flash the stock rom first, everything will return to unroot stated. Reroot then and try again.

The above didn't work for me because I received error based on my type of phone.
This guide however did help: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2240614
I had to reboot windows to a settings to enable unsigned drivers. Installed Flashtool and it's drivers,
First unlocked the bootloader(BLU button, got the IMEI, used the sony form (http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/instructions))
Then I downloaded the stock sony xperia z ftf image, placed it in Flashtool's firmware folder, then flashed it (flash device > flash mode).
Now my phone's working again.

If you still can enter custom recovery, you only need flash rom and (with) suitable kernel.
If not, you need Flashtool.
- make sure you have the newest version of flashtool and driver
- connect your phone to pc.
- when computer show error about usb not recognized, go to computer management - device manager. Find something in universal serial bus controller list that have yellow triangle and exclamation mark. right click and remove it
- disconnect your phone then reboot your pc
- install flashtool and driver, reboot pc again
- connect your phone to pc. Now, it should detect your phone.
- do flashing procedure

Need Help.

My sony xperia z will not power on anymore. If i connect it to a charger, it shows the sony logo and keeps restarting. When i connect it to my computer not much happens. SUS can detect it and i tried updating it, it downloads and installs and tells me to restart my phone but still nothing happens and the same thing as before happens when i connect it with a charger.Sony PC Companion app does not detect the phone.
So i tried flashing with xperia flasher and i downloaded a 4.3 stock rom, flashed it but then at the end it says usb debugging mode must be enabled but i do not think its enabled, nor can i check since my phone does not power on.
Please Help!!!

sorry meant FlashTool. i did flash and it completed it successfully but when i tried powering on, nothing happend. so i connected to charger and the sony logo loop restart happen again. it said at the end of flashing that usb debugging must be enabled so i think that may be the problem why it did not work.
I have tried hard reset. It vibrates once, pauses and then vibrates 3 times and then nothing.

Is it cause i need at least 50% battery? If so, is there any way of doing so? because if i connect to wall charger it does the sony logo restart loop and when i connect to pc it goes in mtp mode.

I think you have to send it to sony for repair. As long as you haven't modified anything on your phone they should repair it

If you dont know bootloader unlock, its most probably its locked. Grab an ftf and flash with flashtool. Usually update service works.

I have done that before so that means it should be unlocked.
