I've got following software on my LG 4X HD:
My questions are:
1.Can I use this tool -----> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2230934 to unlock my bootloader or not?
2. Is this -----> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2238040 for me or not?
You have software version v10x you need v20x

OK. Is there an official update for my country (Poland) or do I have to change my software in unofficial way? Could you guide me with some link to the best way in my case? I'm reading here and there, that I should have EUR-xxxx software version for unlocking bootloader - I assume that unlocking is possible only for v20 soft, am I correct? How can I upgrade (in the easiest way)?

Hi, I am thinking of getting the LG 2x because it comes with the bootloader already unlocked, so does it INVALIDATE YOUR WARRANTEE to flash the Rom?

I'd imagine so yes, but you can revert back to stock very easily.

Also, do you know if there is a Rom with HTC sense 3 for the x2??
There is no rom with sense 3 ui !!
Try for MIUI ROM it has a sense theme which gives little bit similar ui as that of htc sensation !!!!

It depends on your country LG policy whether it will invalidate your warranty or not. At best ask your local LG branch.

It is not locked.
Hi, I was wondering which combination of
flashtool + firmware
when DOWNGRADING from an UNLOCKED v20a
will retain the UNLOCK after the downgrade to say: v10a
And, on the other hand, which combination of
flashtool + firmware
will remove the UNLOCKED bootloader state during a downgrade to say: v10a or v10h etc.

I don't know if it will work... LGFlash Tool seems to completly wipe the phone.
Better try to manipulate them with sdk or normal kdz flash programs.
AW: [O] 4.1.2->4.0.3 unlock retained?

I think You can Hard Brick your Phone because on Jelly Bean are the Bootloader unlock able on ICS not.
I understand that's you unlock your Phone.
But I'm nit sure please ask a XDA Member with skill how Dexter.

Related to the title - Does anyone know for sure what is happening with the Boot loader lock status?
I'm running 234-000, GBR Black (United Kingdom) I have updated to the official V20A Euro open. I have tried 2 different unlock methods that have worked for other users, i'm just having no luck. Will there be an unlock for phones in other regions. If not would there possibly ever be a way round it?

Hi, I new in this forum, im from México and no body know how to root tis smartphone, plase help me, mi xperia z1: android 4.3, model: C6906 compilation: 14.2.a.1.136, plese and i need to unlock for all companis, is telcel, i reed in other and in this forum i need to downgrade but i buy this smartphone with this android version and tis number of compilation, how to root? ( plese forgive me, i not speak much english, mi english it´s horrible :S)
Update to the latest firmware (either by using pccompanion or flashing a FTF from the mega collection thread in the general section) then just use any of the new root tools. Look in my signature for help
As for sim unlocking, you will have to go to your carrier and ask them for that or pay a third party company for the code. Sim unlocking is not really what we do here on xda.

Oh, but in mi z1 in this zone (México) the last update it's the 4.3, i don´t understath much, but i google it (my number of compilation and model) and no body web page o forum can´t help me, i use Unlock root pro but did not work... can you plese tell me step by step what need to do?
Flash a ftf file from the mega collection that is 4.4.4 then just root it
