Hello everyone, I want to upgrade to JB. Mine is AINDBK. I want unlocked bootloader and CWM. Root too. I actually don't know what to do first. Please tell me-
1. From which link to download V20A unlockable (official direct download link prefered).
2. Root first or bootloader unlocking first.
3. Where to get adb for Win 7 32-bit
4. Exact step of unlocking bootloader (as I never used adb with some script or command and this is my first android phone).
5. Most of all, is AINDBK unlockable?

First Warranty void caution - check yours country LG services warranty agreement wise rooting and unlocking bootloader
1. csmgdl.lgmobile.com/swdata/WDLSW/LGP880/ANEUBK/V20a_00/V20A_00.kdz
2. First bootloader unlock, than root
3. You really should use some of search option on this, but try this http://www.droidgator.com/install-adb-usb-drivers-for-android-devices/, and you need to install latest PC sync or LGMobile support tools for the latest drivers
4. LG email about unlocking : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2224020 (to use adb commands you need to run cmd and navigate with cd.. and cd comands where your adb application is, or just navigate with explorer to your extracted folder/sdk/platform-tools folder, hold shift and right mouse click on platform-tools folder, select open command window here )
5. After some forum reading i can only say that the unlocking bootloader is connected with phone because when people flash (above link) euro open software they dont get EURO-XXX (unlock possible) in software information of the phone (not the rule, some people get it to work wirh different region code(codes outside Europe region) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2222650) so your is 99% unlockable.
List of regions codes and some guides:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2181581

this should be in the q&a
Just a note that you posted this in the wrong section so we'll let a mod move it over.
I've got a mac and have successfully rooted the HTC One using it. I followed a guide I used previously to root the One X, the steps are exactly the same.
The guide is here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1592922
I think the only step that was different is when you install a recovery, I used one specifically for the One
From the directory you put fastboot and adb :
. /fastboot

Hey guys. So now i've spent around 7 hours non-stop trying to root my HTC Salsa c510b but alas i am out of luck. At HTCdev it requires me to update my HBOOT and in turn update the ROM; in order to do this i must have a minimum 1.17.862.3 software number for my ROM however me being unable to update this rodent keeps my ROM's software number at 1.17.862.2 (so close ). If i was able to get my ROM to be 1.17.862.3 i would be able to use the RUU for Voda-Hutch AU (model # PH1112000) and successfully run the command fastboot oem get_identifier_token and obtain further information to root my device. But i am stuck. Does anyone know how i could possible fix this problem. Really frustrated.
