The white one appears to only be available in select markets (The same markets that are seeing the $100 discount). It also seems that they sold out of the white one very quickly where it was available. I ordered mine early Sunday afternoon, and it shipped yesterday. However, some people who ordered later on Sunday afternoon or Sunday night are seeing backorder notices.

Ya i was one of the people that bought it online too late in the aftenoon so were part of the backordered crew. I would recommend putting in your order as soon as possible so you can get added to the list. As of now they are "suppose" to get the phone in this week but who knows when that will actually be.
I will post as soon as my status changes.
They have few here in Houston. I got the last on at the I10 in SB Store.
So what we know so far is that they are selling the white ones in store where they have LTE or may be getting LTE and those are also the ones with the lower prices.
Not true, No one in the Chicago area has white, it's not an option on-line for Chicago, but we are LTE, also the price here is full price.

Just order online ant pay the 10 for next day shipping. You can have a white one.

Sold Out in Birmingham
They supposedly had a few Sunday at an AT&T store in one of the suburbs of Birmingham , AL. But when I went in on Monday, they had sold out. They said they were getting additional shipments but no guarantee as to what would be in them.
I got one in Houston, I live in the Chicago suburbs, but am here on business. The AT&T corporate store off I10 near Freebirds and Target. The black model I paid $549 for is going back on Sunday. It also only cost $99 down here on contract, they were $199 on contract in Chicago. I will have to pay $35 restocking, but I still am coming out $65 ahead.

Was it a new contract because if I try to use my upgrade my only option is black, also the stores in Chicago don't even have a sku in there system for a white.
The white ones are Only available in certain markets.
They are also available through EPP website.

Has anyone had their white Vivid ship that was previously backorder status? I ordered on 6 Nov at 2300 hours, but it's still showing backordered. I'm a little ticked off that AT&T shipped my secondary line alone (not a Vivid) for new service with the primary being backordered.

Hmm never though to ask the store if they can order one for me, I know they don't carry it, and I can't get it in Chicagoland.
Yeah I wish I could try via store, but gotta do it thru Premier. I just wish they wouldn't have shipped till the whole order is ready to ship, that really irritates me. I don't want to go thru porting and activating as a single line, then switching to a family plan, porting remainder number, closing Sprint account... that's too much pro-raping and hassle. I did get sent an add'l SIM card separately then the other phone, guess I could throw it in my old Nokia N75 lol.

So i thought i would post this because i'm getting some different explanations depending on who i talk to so i rather get real world results. Let me know when you ordered the white one if you did and what the status of it so far. We have one guy on the forum that posted that he ordered it early on sunday and did in fact recieve confirmation that he did get it shipped.
I ordered it at 1pm CST and have it backordered and it is still that way today. I've called them and they said they have 2459 (exact number lol) coming but when i call another department they say they dont' know.
Let me know and hopefully we hear soon cause i reallllly want this.

I get an error saying that orders made within the last 24 hours may not be available. The link I have is for a business premier account so it may not show up on the regular site. Not really sure what's up. Either way I'm happy. I upgraded to my Inspire in Feb and was able to upgrade again now, so I can't complain. Even if I have to wait a few extra days to get it.

I am in the same situation, ordered yesterday at about 3:00 central and in the status on website is "processing'. Called HTC, They were useless.
I iwll post here when status changes.

mine was a premier order as well but you should still be able to check it. Let us know if it changes any time soon. I will be posting back later tonight with hopefully good news.
Yep, I'm back-ordered now. Trying to see if I can change it to the black one. I didn't really care either way which one I got, just picked the white one to try something different. Not sure if my company will be able to change it though.
I had ordered about a white one about an hour after the release on the premier site. I got the backorder status yesterday morning. I wanted white but being that i put a case on all my phones I cancelled the order and got the black one. If you cancel and make another order right away it will cancel the new order also as they have a 72 hour period for the first cancel to process. I had to call customer service and get it straight. My black one will be delivered tomorrow.

I ordered 2 online. One says processing(Even as of this post) and they flat out canceled the other one. After another member posted that the corp stores were doing the $99 i just went to the store and got them. I think they are back-ordered too.

Just called the local AT&T Service Center and they said the stores in the Chicagoland area will not carry the white. It is a web only offering according to the person I talked to.
I posted this in the other White Vivid thread but I figured I would update here as well.
My white Vivid went from back-ordered to shipped last night. It is actually in Atlanta now but won't be delivered until tomorrow. Maybe all the back-orders will start going through now.

Got mine today
Thanks for the info! I never got an email about my white one shipping, but I just tracked it via the regular AT&T order status website, Premier one still shows it as processing, but sure enough it also shipped out & is scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

I never got a shipped email either, and even after FedEx picked it up, it took 24 hours for the status to change from processing to shipped. But mine still showed up on time on Wednesday.
The 3g 32gb Nexus will be released tomorrow. Has anyone seen any signs that they are available anywhere besides the play store? I would like to avoid the taxes and/or shipping changes.
PS Does the play store take returns if i have a screen lift problem.
PPS Since I currently do have a 7" tablet, I don't need to buy tomorrow. However, I would like 2 !!!

1) Outside of a T-Mobile "internal" document, I haven't seen any real confirmation about the release tomorrow (or technically today). It very well might happen, but it also might not. I'm hoping B&M stores carry them too, but it's unknown right now.
2) Yes, you have 15 days (or something like that) for a return and a full year warranty directly through Play Store - if you buy through them.

3) No, it was not a question. It was a plea for someone to tell me/justify my impulse to just buy the N7 as soon as it is released. I am also trying to resist buying the Nexus 4 on release.

Go to the play store and see what happens when you try to select the 3G N7. My browser seems to be glitching. Edit, NM, its back to normal now.
And the only place it says that this device will be released is on the official google blog, but beyond that, i haven't heard a single thing. I even called the CS line today, and the only thing they told me was that "There is no definite release date."
It was not released in Australia along with the N4 and the N10.

Ditto. Was a bit of a git getting on to the website intially, but I managed and I've ordered it. 3-5 working days delivery (£13.99 p&p) . I got in work late as I didnt want them selling out before I got one... waited bloody ages for this.
It seems that no "bricks and mortar" outlets will currently stock the 3g version of the Nexus 7 in the UK and the only place to get it is Play Store.

Yeah I got an email at the moment the play store had the Nexus 7 3G in stock. However, I'd been checking it every few minutes anyway
I've been patiently waiting for this to come out, but it seems no stores are stocking it online. Not in the UK so Google Play order while possible, is a bit pointless.
Are there any retailers indicating they'll get stock soon?

There is NO indication at this point that any retailers apart from Google Play will be stocking the 3g version of the Nexus 7. I checked thoroughly or I would have bought in a shop rather than online, as I would have prefered to have checked the thing over.
3G Version is LIVE in the US Play Store.

WTF. This is pissing me off. I can't get my order to go through. Keeps giving me errors and just hangs.
Plus, their phone support just shut down incoming calls.
Just got my ordered from play store at 9:09am PST. Total was $336.16 (California tax and $13.99 for 2 day shipping). It took me around 10 tries to finally get it to check out.

I finally got through too. My first browser just hung so I did a second order and it went through. Took like 40mins from start to finish. This unit better be perfect. I'm going to return my (perfect) 32GB once I receive the 3G unit, so I'll be pissed if I need to RMA the 3G one for some defect.

I reserved the Galaxy s4 at my local Sprint store on Monday. Walked in today and they had 8 available. So needless to say, you might want to check your local Sprint store to see if they had any shipments because mine did. By the way I returned the HTC One for this phone and I couldn't be happier.

Sprint won't be my carrier but if they have them in store I would stop by just to check out the phone in person, assuming they have one for display.
Our 2 local sprint stores and BB all got the Sprint S4's in today. I almost bought one, but they would not match the online price of $149 that I could get on sprint.com by adding a new line. So I came home and ordered one up instead. $100 is a $100. But it was nice to play with one in the store a bit before making the final decision.

Wait, what? I thought Sprint delayed all of the S4s. When I called BB about my pre-order yesterday to see if it was affected, all I got was that it wasn't in yet and they wouldn't get any sort of an ETA because of them using drop shipment to (supposedly) get it there faster. I may have to drop in today and see what's up with that. >.>
Edit: Just did so. According to the rep I spoke with, Samsung only shipped the ATT phones. All other carriers' S4s have yet to show up. Anyone else running into something similar?

We went into the Sprint store shortly after they opened on Saturday just to see if they might have received any. I'd heard the delayed rumors too, so was not shocked when they said no. Mgr said he'd got an email the night before saying they might try to scrape a few together and get them there, so check back later. Basically the same story at the BB store 2 blocks away. Called later in the day and the Sprint store had them in. So I went in and played with it for a while. When they could not price match the web price, we went over to BB. They had also received the phones but would not match the price either.
All were Sprint phones, both colors, 16gb. They are getting delivered for retail sales, at least in some areas. Guaranteed. You can call the Sprint or BB stores in Rogers and Bentonville Arkansas to confirm it, if you'd like. They may all be sold out by now as there were folks lined up to look at them, but they had them for a while yesterday, at the least. I had a black one in my hands and ready to buy until the ad match snafu came up.
Sprint stores in NJ had them...but the store by me only had 6, 3 white / 3 black...I walked in after 3hrs of them being opened and they still had 4.

Haha your first paragraph was just be way my several went at one of my local corporate store I reserved a handset at. But when I called a friend at another corporate location just a few towns south of me, she said she had a huge supply but we're running low rapidly. And even at 10:15am the store was PACKED! So in turn, I had a feeling that some stores may have some supply. Which was exactly what happened. Funny, cause the 2 BB stores in Mt area have the Samsung booths. Neither were displaying anything. Which I thought was unusual, cause even though there is a delay, I would have thought that they would at least wanna show Em off

I got mine! 4.2.2 is alot different. Menu's have more to it. Overall I am liking the GS4. Bigger screen, smoother and faster than my GS3. I cant wait until a solid root is out there and for Ktoons OC kernel to come out! I can see this thing rocking 2.5 GHZ with it's quad core! My Quadrant score is already 12,772 stock, so I'm thinking 18,000 is possible!

Spoke to a sprint employee on the 24th(after they stopped taking pre-orders) and was told they'd only get enough S4s to satisfy pre orders and then would have to wait for "a week or so" for a shipment of S4s for the general public. So I preordered from amazon and they said they'd ship the today and deliver May 1st. But yesterday I called local sprint stores and 3rd one I called said they had one left in white. Amazon preorder cancelled shortly their after . Any way what I took away from this fro any one still looking for S4s is that some sprint stores have general public stock but generally the bigger stores closer to downtown (I'm in Houston). The stores that only have pre order stock just don't know what the hell they are talking about .
I'm in Houston too and got mine from the Westpark store. They had plenty of them. Like 50 or so! Don't know about today though.....

I must have gotten lucky, because I ordered mine online from Sprint Saturday the 28th in the afternoon (pst), and received a shipping notification Sunday at 10AM and received my shipment Monday morning at 9:45 AM. Needless to say I was happily shocked
I was able to use Upgrade Now for $100 fee. They bought my cracked E4GT for $64. They said they had 13 white and 8 black.

Go to tmobile website and put gear vr in search box and click on gear vr option and order it for 99.99. They did not even advertise that it was available for order. I just ordered mine. I'm thinking first come first serve hopefully, it's sold out everywhere else and tmobile told everyone that they wasn't taking orders till November 27 so order asap.

Thanks for your response, actually last night seemed all my UPS Status went from nothing (literally UPS site said the tracking number wasent in their system) to being on truck ready for shipment today. I cant stop looking for the truck! LOL

Awesome. My order does not even say "shipped" from T-Mobile...it just says "Being Processed" which makes me a little concerned that maybe they got a ton of orders and I won't be getting one any time soon. We'll see.

I picked next day overnight because the lady offered it for free, so why not? LOL.
Then, the next day (sat) I made a follow up, and for the inconvenience, they gave me a $30. credit!
On top of that, I complained to Best Buy last week because when I went to the store to get more information on the unit, none of the Samsung reps knew anything about it, or would make any effort to look into it in the computer. 3 different reps gave me 3 different "possible" dates.... I say "Possible" because they didn't want to bother looking at the computer. All I wanted to do was place an order in store if possible because I prefer to have my CC scanned in person and not have the number sent off to cyberspace.... all they had to do was take my money and they didn't want to, so I said screw it and called corporate and complained (took 5 minutes) and they sent me a $25. gift card LOL. So, essentially this thing will cost me about $45. in the end.
Mine is still being processed as well, now it's back available for ordering when it said out of stock last night...this tells me there system is screwing up so we may not have anything shipping anytime soon ...chatting now with tmobile specialist...will fill u guys in

Thanks for doing some leg work and looking in to this. I keep hoping for an email with a tracking number, but still nothing.
I did online chat with T-Mobile earlier today, and they assured me I should have it in 24-48 hours, but I am still feeling skeptical. When I look at T-Mobile's website it is still showing as out of stock for me.

Thanks for doing some leg work and looking in to this. I keep hoping for an email with a tracking number, but still nothing.
I did online chat with T-Mobile earlier today, and they assured me I should have it in 24-48 hours, but I am still feeling skeptical. When I look at T-Mobile's website it is still showing as out of stock for me.

No problem, the rep also said everyone who ordered this weekend will receive their shipments this week, I'm just waiting for my shipment and tracking email too ....

On top of that, I complained to Best Buy last week because when I went to the store to get more information on the unit, none of the Samsung reps knew anything about it, or would make any effort to look into it in the computer. 3 different reps gave me 3 different "possible" dates.... I say "Possible" because they didn't want to bother looking at the computer. All I wanted to do was place an order in store if possible because I prefer to have my CC scanned in person and not have the number sent off to cyberspace.... all they had to do was take my money and they didn't want to, so I said screw it and called corporate and complained (took 5 minutes) and they sent me a $25. gift card LOL. So, essentially this thing will cost me about $45. in the end.

Nope...still no shipping notification. The online chat people are useless too. They just keep telling me I should receive it by the end of the week (i.e 2-4 business days)...but since I ordered it on Saturday, you would think it would have shipped yesterday. That leads me to believe T-Mobile F'd this one up.
Wish I did one day shipping now...maybe it would have helped...but Samsung USA online store said they will be shipping back orders on 30th...I have one with them too...so if both come I will sell one for double on eBay

Just got off the phone with T-Mobile. They sadly just confirmed that it is backordered with no anticipated ship date. What a crock.
The girl said they can get shipments on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but that really doesn't help at all.
What a bunch of BS.
