Sent From My HTC One, On The Now Network From Sprint!
I'm waiting for them to get back to me about mine. I'll post it when I get it, but I would think it would be unique for each device.

appreciate it! I am sure that the code that unlocks it is unique but the dialcode to enter said password is probably the same on each device.
So the answer is there is no dial code. They handle it all on their end. The only thing I had to do after calling them was restart my phone.
I just got all my details since Sprint was a huge douche about it and they refused to unlock it.
So I paid $13 htcsimunlockcode at gmail / HTCunlockingService and they sent me all the code info to do it but i get nothing that pops up to enter the code. It asks new sim then i select AT&T and that's it.... doesn't change a thing... still Sprint service not AT&T

You do not need to buy unlock code.
there is sim unlock method posted on xda which works great on 4.3 and below not sure about kitkat thou. but if your device is s-off you can always install 1.29 RUU and sim unlock your phone.
Have a similar problem to UNLOCK Sprint HTC ONE M7

Hello there.
1. I bought an BAD ESN SPRINT HTC ONE M7 to be used in Israel.
2. I ordered a simlunlock code (just like i did with a success for an T-MOBILE bad esn HTC ONE m7)
3. I hoped i will get a menu to enter the simlock code , but nothing there .... even with my new and local sim.
4. started to do a reseach, but i'm stuck. my phone proreties are :
Model number = HTC PN072
Android ver = 4.4.2
HTC Sence version = 6.0
Software version = 5.03.651.3
HTC SDK API level = 6.20
More = kernel ver = [email protected] #1 SMP PREEMPT
Baseband ver = 1.01.20.0515
Build # = 5.03.651 3 337390 release-keys
In BootLoader :
TAPMERED , UNLOCKED
M7_WLS PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT-1.57.000
RADIO-1.01.20.0515
OPENDSP-v32.120.274.8909
5. did managed to Unlock Bootloader , get root (SU) , and recovry util TWRP.
6. can a just flash a new rom (say ViperOne) and the sim unlock will be OPEN ????
7. some people told me - that a new rom wo'nt open the sprint phone to other-than-sprint SIMcards , so i tried ways to "unlock".
8. i tried the Sieempi, is generating for frre the config.dat , i boot the phone with OTG usb cable , didn't worked - got errors "failed ...."
9. i tried to S-OFF with firewater, also failed (since i have HBOOT 1.57 not 1.54)
ERROR: kernel contains HTC anti-firewater patch!
****** Try again with a different kernel ******
10. ANY IDEAS PLEASE ??
thanks

Hello BD619.
Thanks for your advise, I just want to make sure i understand it.
You advise me to falsh a http://sprint_one_stock_rooted_odex_4.06.651.4.zip/ ROM ,
Fisrt - will it OVERRIDE the sprint sim check ? meaning i could put inside the phone a GSM sim (not a sprint one)?
Second - I have HBOOT 1.57, S-on , rooted phone , etc (as i stated in first post), so now i only flash the 4.06 rom file ?
no need for firmware RUU ? (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2658910) ?
Better if you can direct me to a full guide for flashing that rom (when actually downgrading from 4.4.2)
Thnak you again for your time and efforts

Use that rom to get s-off with firewater.
Once s-off you can do whatever else you nee to do.
Well - to get the S-OFF is the problem

I tried to get the S-OFF with firewater (with my current rom android 4.4.2 , not 4.0.1 as you advised)
I got error meaage from firewater
"ERROR: kernel contains HTC anti-firewater patch!
****** Try again with a different kernel ******
so will flashing the 4.0.1 rom will also change my kernel ? (i understand that the kernel is a linux code duffernrt from the rom - which is 'android' code)
so - to sum it up :
1. flash the 4.0.1 rom
2. run firewater to get s-off
3. ??? now will my phone become sim free /unlock ? i.e. supporting GSM sim cards not from the US ?
thanks again for your quick responds

Yes it will change the kernel.
1. Flash the rom I linked to.
2. Run firewater to s-off
3. search the General section for ways to sim-unlock.

I purchased a HTC Vivid off the market and the SIM is not detecting nor is the IMEI showing up .
It did show up once or twice but almost 99% it shows nothing - I think it showed up when I did a flashing and then bootload unlock but I did the same steps now I dont see IMEI anyway .
I can see that I dont have RADIO or OpenDSP (marked in RED) in my phone though I flashed it to the Stock GB ROM using . PHxxx39.zip for HTC Vivid .
How do I troubleshoot this problem ?
EVITA PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
CID-11111111

OpenDSP-v34.1.0.45.1219
eMMC-boot

How can I install OpenDSP and RADIO in my HTC Vivid ? Any links would be helpful .

I am sorry but I just wanted to show the problem in my mobile . The paste was from a forum .
Mine reads :
= JuopunutBear =
HOLIDAY PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
H-BOOT-1.85.2525
MICROP-0360
eMMC-boot
Mar 1 2012,17:09:49
List of devices attached
HT1BHVJ01215 device
[For some reason it shows up like this , it did show HTCPH39100 at some point but I have been trying lots of things and now it shows like this]
I did the S-OFF using JuopunutBear wire-trick S-OFF method . I also did *#*#682#*#* dialer trick to install ICS but its getting to a boot loop (any ROM has the same handing issue) . So I again went back to Stock GB using PHxxx39.zip for Vivid and that loads but no IMEI or SIM .
Radio and OpenDSP is missing , would that be why the SIM doesnt show up ? How do I install these for HTC Vivid ? Or is there a fallback option i.e RUU that could unbrick the mobile ?
OK... You can't install GB ruu on that hboot version...
As long as you did supercid... Install the att ruu.... Hopefully that will fix it...
You want the ruu with 36 in the name... Meaning it has sense 3.6...
That should bring back your imei... If not... I'm at a loss

What is SuperCID ?
Thanks rignfool .
PH39IMG.zip in SDCARD will always auto-install Stock GB in HBoot mode , I am not sure it considered as the normal RUU procedure though .
http://bionicgeeks.the-talk.net/t28-rom-restore-to-unrooted-gb-from-ics-att . I do various things and once I brick somewhere I do that to get GB.
However I will look into ICS with 3.6 Sense RUU . I have an exe htc_vivid_att_RUU_3.26.502.56_US but not having a Windows Machine . Need to get one ASAP and try this . Few doubts I have :
Why is SuperCID required ? Can you please clarify .
When I factory reset I can see IMEI for the first time and then I did insert SIM it doesnt understand it perhaps [I will try it again] . After reboot it doesnt say "Np SIM" - Just shows the No signal symbol until I reset it .
Infact Security - SIM Lock is Checked too . Normally AT&T locked Mobiles bring up a screen where I can insert Unlock PIN - this one doesn't ask for one . Are there any advanced Menu that can help me debug . I know about *#*#4636#*# - but its just a display type of menu . I did the complete S-OFF process and Config.dat to unlock SIM and it said "Success" . Stuck and clueless I will try RUU as suggested by you . But please tell me why is SuperCID important ? I am going to try AT&T RUU only .

I would relock... And run the ruu... Its like pushing the big reset button... Though you will keep s-off... Unless you're having a sim related issue... That I know nothing about...

Hello everyone,
I was trying diiferent Roms and kernels for many days, but no luck with s-off and sim unlock till today (5 days passed). I hope my gide will help you with your phone as well.
I have Sprint HTC One M7 HBOOT 1.57, OS 5.03.651.3.
1) Unlock bootloader
2) Flash "recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.4.8-m7spr" or "openrecovery-twrp-2.8.0.2-m7wls.img"
3) Install Super user
4) Flash "m7wls_Stock_Rooted_5.03.651.3_DeOdex_Full" Rom using recovery
5) Flash kernel "ElementalX-sprint-m7-13.1"
6) Use "Firewater", instraction 1 worked for me link: http://firewater-soff.com/instructions/. Now you must be S-Off
7) Downgared to Hboot 1.44. This one worked for me "hboot_hexed"
8) Install Sprint_HTC_One_m7wls_1.29.651.10_RUU
9) Flash againe "recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.4.8-m7spr" or "openrecovery-twrp-2.8.0.2-m7wls.img"
10) Install Super user
11) Follow all steps in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2386703 and you are done.
Thank you.
thanks for sharing the steps, i just got s-off tonight on hboot 1.57 by htc dev unlocking, flashinging twrp recovery which installed super su root. Firewater didn't work at that point, so i flashed CM11 nightly and then firewater s-off worked when "opening bottle 1".
I then installed the firewater hboot, but i'm not sure why is there an advantage to downgrading to an older hboot version? is it just so you can potentially install older RUUs?
it's work for me ) ) thanks your solultion ! very good
so now my HTC one camera not work ) maybe because downgare softwave ... everyone help me ! thanks

Hey, do you have a link to the rom you flashed in step 4? I downloaded this but they said you need s-off to make it happen.
UPDATE: Was able to flash the rom via recovery and flash elementX kernel, the same one you mentioned. After getting to the firewater step I get this error after the first chug:
Kernel contains HTC anti-firewater patch!

UPDATE 2: Followed to Step 5, tried firewater and it failed. Tried SIM Unlock and it failed. Replaced HtcOMADM file and tried S-off via firewater and it failed. Tried SIM Unlock and it did everything fine!
Now I just have to find a SIM that works.

I have Sprint HTC One M7 HBOOT 1.57, OS 5.03.651.3.
1) Unlock bootloader
2) Flash "recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.4.8-m7spr" or "openrecovery-twrp-2.8.0.2-m7wls.img"
3) Install Super user
4) Flash "m7wls_Stock_Rooted_5.03.651.3_DeOdex_Full" Rom using recovery
5) Flash kernel "ElementalX-sprint-m7-13.1"
6) Use "Firewater", instraction 1 worked for me link: http://firewater-soff.com/instructions/. Now you must be S-Off
7) Downgared to Hboot 1.44. This one worked for me "hboot_hexed"
8) Install Sprint_HTC_One_m7wls_1.29.651.10_RUU
9) Flash againe "recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.4.8-m7spr" or "openrecovery-twrp-2.8.0.2-m7wls.img"
10) Install Super user
11) Follow all steps in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2386703 and you are done.
Thank you.

Unlocking the bootloader doesn't remove the sim lock
Rooting the phone doesn't remove sim lock neither.
If the cim unlock code method didn't worked, I would try another sim unlock code from another company and if its still a no-go then you'll first need to S-OFF the phone using Sunshine S-OFF so you can sim-unlock using the sieempi website.

7.19.401.2 which mean you have hboot 1.61. Only Sunshine can S-OFF hboot version 1.57 and higher.
Firewater is discontinued and will not work because this method requires an online server that is not available anymore.
Revone is for hboot 1.44 only
Moonshine is for hboot 1.44 only
Rumrunner will only work up to 1.55 and sometime 1.56 hboot.
So you have no other choices than trying another code or paying 25$ for s-off so you can use the sieempi method. Otherwise you'll have to keep it sim-locked. What is really strange is that phone equipped with x.xx.401.x versions are Europe unlocked versions so they shouldn't be sim-locked, they are normally sold as "carrier unlocked" phones.

Explain what it means "carrier unlocked" phones ?
This is a first... I can't agree with @alray. .401.x are indeed European versions, but they are only free from carrier bloatware. They are not sim unlocked. Both my phones were on .401.x and both of them were sim locked when I bought them

That's funny, my first htc device, the One X, was on a .401 version with Cid htc__203 and was sim unlocked, also recently bought a m7 from eBay for a friend. It was sold as "unlocked" and it was a . 401 with Cid htc__001. Maybe it depends the Cid or maybe both sellers unlocked the phones before.... But the boxes were sealed... So idk I might be wrong ?

Well, all 3 of my Desire Bravos and my Evo were sim unlocked with CID HTC__032 , but both my M7s were sim locked on same CID. I guess carriers lock their phones separately here, but firmware doesn't mean you will get sim unlocked phone
From what I understand is the only chance is Sunshine method.

If the unlock code method doesn't work then yes, Sunshine + Sieempi is probably the only solution

Hey, its me again,
Yesterday I removed some 4.4.2 rom from my HTC and now I cant get install any.
Informations from previous ROM:
HTC SDK API level: 6.20
PRL verison: 55015,
Software number: 5.11.661.8,
Kernel: 3.4.10-xiaoxiang8002-soul1.0, SMP PREEMPT,
Baseband version: 2.03.30.0109,
Build number:5.11.661.8 CL334166
Informations from Bootloader:
M7_WLS PVT SHIP S-OFF RH
CID-11111111
HBOOT-1.57.0000
OpenDSP-v26.120.274.0202
OS-
and its GSM version.
I tried to flash (TWRP) some stock rooted 4.4.2 - after flash, only HTC logo appears a stuck in there.
ViperOne gives me status 7 error.
GPE stock and plus failed too.
I want some lollipop ROM, but can I flash lollipop ROMs without official update from kitkat to lollipop?
Do I need to update baseband or hboot etc. - and if so which versions?
Can i flash RUU exe lollipop file from official HTC website? (http://www.htc.com/cz/support/updates.aspx) I dont want to lose my sim unlock/s-off.
Please let give some overall informations, im really confused of all those articles and threads. I would even appreciate some stock ROM, the only thing i dont want to lose is S-OFF, because its sim unlocked.
Im desperate.
EDIT // OK. Its always like - im despereate, going here, creating a thread and then i suddenly work it out. :|
I managed to restore it using official RUU. I used Sprint version 6.23.651.10, works normally but at startup it is doing some Hansfree Activation without succes, telling me its not working on GSM, no big deal. And it keeps telling me some **** about improving my connection with location service.
Should I try AT&T version 7.23.502.9? And whats the difference betweeen 6.23.651.10 and 7.23.502.9?
Thanks.

M7wls in the bootloader = it's a CDMA (sprint) variant, not a GSM variant. You can only use roms compatible with this variant (version number x.xx.651.x), roms for the GSM variant (m7ul) won't work. 6.23.651.10 is the latest official version that will work on your phone.
You can bypass hands free activation by deleting the htcsetupwizard.apk file from your phone. It can be done from twrp recovery (make sure to flash the sprint version of twrp). Boot in twrp, mount /system. Use twrp's file manager and go to /system/app and delete the file. Unmount, wipe cache and dalvik and reboot.
