*. Disable antivirus, firewall, and other security software. Also disable Samsung Kies and other software that accesses your phone.Such software can interfere with the procedure in this guide.
*. Download the following files to your computer:* Proper ICS for your country eg. For India, "INU" for your Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 GT-P3100 here : http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-P3100

Instructions
1. Using ZIP extraction software, extract the *.tar.md5 file contained in the firmware update package.
2. Extract the contents of Odin to your computer.
3. Turn off your tablet. Make sure it is not hooked up to your PC.
4. Run Odin on your computer by double-clicking Odin
5. Click the PDA button in Odin and load the *.tar.md5 file contained in the firmware update package that you unzipped.
6. Do not change any other setting in Odin. Make sure that the checkbox for ¡°Re-partition¡± is not ticked.
7. Reboot the tablet into Download Mode by holding down the Volume Down and Power buttons until you see the warning screen. Press the Volume Up key to continue to Download Mode.
8. Connect the tablet to your PC via USB cable. You should see an ¡°Added!¡± message on the Odin window.
9. Click the Start button in Odin to begin flashing the firmware to your tablet. When installation completes and succeeds, Odin will display a ¡°PASSED¡± message in one of its boxes. The tablet will also automatically reboot.
10. If, on rebooting, the screen gets stuck at the Samsung logo, try resolving it by doing the following:
*. Turn off the tablet.
*. Boot into Recovery Mode by holding down Power and Volume Up buttons together until the screen turns on. When the Samsung logo appears, let go of the Power button but keep holding down the Volume Up button until the device boots into recovery.
*. In Recovery Mode, select Wipe data/Factory reset and select Yes on next screen.
*. Select Reboot system now to reboot the tablet
Congratulations! You¡¯ve successfully reverted your Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 to Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.
HIT THANKS!!!

[Q] Return to stock procedure

Hey all
I am trying to return my phone to stock but i want to be sure about the procedure. I have read the guides.
1. Flash stock recovery
2. Flash stock rom
3. Root stock rom
4. Use triangle away
5. Unroot
Is this the right procedure? Can it be returned to the factory with zero counts and official?
I've got a danish/Denmark phone so I should use this firmware: I8190NXXANF2_I8190NOXXANF1_NEE right?
Any help is apreciated.:good:

You need to download these files first:
Odin v3.07 for Windows:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1738841
Samsung USB drivers:http://www.android.gs/download-samsung-usb-drivers-for-android/
Stock Firmware of your country (Nordic countries) from SamMobile (.tar.md5):http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=30873
And then perform this steps:
1) Install the USB drivers.
2) Run Odin v3.07.
3) In opened window, click on PDA button and select Stock Firmware with .tar.md5 extension.
4) Make sure that only Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time are selected on the left side.
5) Turn off your phone, and then use VOL- & HOME & POWER buttons combination.
6) If you see Warning screen, use VOL+ button.
7) Connect phone to computer and make sure it is detected by Odin (it will appear as COM device). If it doesn’t, try to use other USB port.
8) Use Start button. Wait until flash process will finish.
9) Your phone will restart.
10) Wait for boot.
Now you should have Stock Firmware without Root installed and ready to use!
For zero counts use Triangle Away first and then do the procedure above or do the procedure, Root, use Triangle Away and Unroot.
And one last thing: I am not responsible for any trouble that may occur by this procedure. Everything you do to your phone is by your own risk..:fingers-crossed:

HERE : i think this will help you out , but be patience and use common sense when rooting also I AM JUST HERE TO HELP , so DO NOT BLAME ME IF YOU BRICK YOUR PHONE , BUT I CAN SAY THAT IF YOU FOLLOW STEPS YOU WON`T HAVE ANY TROUBLE,
DO DOWNLOAD ESSENTIALS BEFORE FOLLOWING STEPS, FIRTS READ ALL THEN MAKE YOU MIND HOW TO DO IT :
1: ORIGINAL FIRMWARE FROM HERE you will need it to extract original kernel after rooting, or if something goes wrong when rooting
2: SAMSUNG USB DRIVER FOR WIN/MAC.
Make sure that you have backup the data, apps and settings from your Samsung device such as SMS, MMS, Call Logs, Contacts, Images, Audios, Videos, Bookmarks, Wi-Fi, APN settings and MMS settings etc as this process is going to wipe every data from your device.
3. Check of security suites such as antivirus and firewall whether they are disabled on your Computer.
4. You need to turn on the Enable USB Debugging on your Samsung Galaxy S i9070. This can be done simply by following the path ‘Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging’ and ticking the USB Debugging option box.
5. Please put your battery in charge and make sure that it was charged to at least 80%.
Advice: Before going to start the root process you must go to phone settings->click about phone and look for basedband version number. Note down that number in notepad and save it on the desktop.
Steps and Procedure for Rooting Samsung Galaxy S Advance I9070:
1. Download working ODIN FROM HERE AND Working root package only I9070 from attachement to PC.
2. Once you have downloaded the file, then you need to extract the zip file in the PC.
3. After extraction is done.
4. Launch the Odin application in the computer.
5. Turn off the device in order to enter into download mode. For that do like this press and hold the Volume Down + Home buttons together and Power On the device simultaneously. After 1 min you will get a download mode with green android robot image.
6. Connect your device to the Computer via USB data cable while Odin is open. Once your device get connected, ID:COM section turns yellow in colour. If it doesn’t than you need to reconnect your device.
7. In Odin tool you need to two select two files into their respective fields.
NOW YOU WIL ALSO BE NEEDING A PIT FILE , i have attached both version 8gb and 16 gb PIT FILE choose from there if 8gb then 8gb and vice-versa
8.Click PIT tab and then select the GT-I9070_EUR_XX_8G/16GB.pit file from the extracted folder.
Once you selected the file left side Re-partition filed will be tick marked automatically. So you need to uncheck it manually. For more idea see the below picture.
b) Click PDA section and then select the rootkernel.tar.md5.
c) You need to uncheck all other option except ‘Auto Reboot’ and ‘F Reset Time’.
Click on ‘Start’ button and wait for the process to get completed. The Samsung Galaxy S device will reboot automatically.
9. Now you must try to install Superuser and Busybox from Google Play Store . Once you installed both apps then your device will be rooted successfully. check using root checker app.
Time to switch back to stock original kernel basedband firmware version number. Because above we used kernel for rooting the device have some problems like sudden reboots and lags. So that you need to install exact kernel to the device again. BUT IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO ALL THAT , JUST INSTALL ANY CUSTOM ROM / CM11 /cm10 etc ,which has tuned own kernel you will not be needing any of this in the follwoing steps.
HERE READ THIS XDA FORUM TO EXTRACT YOUR ORIGINAL FIRMWARE KERNEL
AFTER THAT AGAIN FOLLOW STEPS
1. Run the Odin application again in the PC.
2.Turn off the device and Boot into Download mode. For that press and hold the Volume Down + Home buttons together and Power On the device.
3. Connect the device to PC via USB cable.
4. Click on PDA tab and select the file which you downloaded recently. I selected (YOURKERNEL).tar.md5 .
5. Click on Start and the process will be completed. The device will be reboot automatically.
That’s it your device is rooted perfectly without any problems. In case if you find any issues with above procedure comment here:good:
good luck

Says it should work with all N900 devices. Wondering if those smarter then I can answer if this will work for us or if it would brick our phones?
Galaxy Note 3 N900 – Guide to Update with Official Lollipop 5.0 OS {Without Losing Warranty}
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N900 Android smartphone can now be updated with the latest firmware of Android 5.0. The best part of this update is that this is the Official firmware version released by Samsung. Applying this update won’t root the device in any manner. Also, while Samsung takes few months from now for pushing this update, you can till then apply this Android 5.0 release in your device in simplest possible manner. This update can be applied to all the devices of Galaxy Note 3 N900 irrespective of the current firmware version. So let’s check out in detail on how to safely root your Galaxy S4 so that you can then make the most of the same.
image-galaxy-note-3-Android-5.0
Info: Applying this update won’t root / void the warranty.
Quick Pre Requisites:
•Create a backup of all the data present in your device using below mentioned steps;
SMS – Download SMS Backup & Restore app and create the backup. Once done, transfer the backup file to your computer,
Call Log – Download Call log Backup & Restore app and create the backup. Once done, transfer the backup file to your computer,
Local Files – Transfer all the data like photos, downloads, music files, videos etc. to your computer.
•Your Galaxy Note 3 N900 should have a minimum of 50% or above,
•Navigate to Settings> Developer Options> check the USB Debugging option to enable the same.
Note: This is the Official Firmware released by Samsung and NOT the custom ROM or Beta firmware.
Assuming that you have followed all the above mentioned pre requisites, let’s check out on what are the instructions with which you can apply this firmware update.
Procedure to Safely Update Galaxy Note 3 with Lollipop 5.0 Android OS:
•Download Odin and also the Android 5.0 Firmware Package from here to your computer.
•Once done, turn Off your Galaxy Note 3 so that it can be entered in the Download Mode.
•Galaxy Note 3 can be entered in the download mode by holding the Volume Up button + the Home key button (the middle button). While holding these both buttons, you need to switch ON your device.
•In Odin, enable Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time check boxes in Odin and also alternatively make sure that the Re-Partition checkbox is ticked.
•Post connecting your deice to the computer in Download Mode, you will see that ID:COM section will turn Blue which indicates that device drivers are successfully installed.
•Click on “AP” to select the rooting tar file and then click on “Start” to start the process of firmware update. Post update, device will be rebooted automatically. It typically takes around a 5 – 6 minutes for whole process.
•Navigate to the path “Settings > About Phone” to know the firmware version which is present in your device. The firmware version will be mentioned as Lollipop 5.0.
Note (Only if your device doesn’t boot or gets in the boot loop mode): If your device doesn’t boot, then just enter your device in the recovery mode. Recovery Mode in Galaxy Note 3 can be entered by holding the Volume Up button + the Home key button (the middle button) and select the appropriate options to factory reset the device.

Is there any possible way to fix this or am i just out of luck?

As you already hardbricked your phone, you should try below process once. Even it worked for me. (It wasn't at&t)
(Do at your own risk)
Make sure that the Samsung USB Drivers are installed on your computer.
Download Samsung USB Drivers for your PC from below link.
http:// android host.org/XIVsA
(Just delete spaces)
1.Now, go to SamMobile’s website from below link.
http:// www .sam mobile.com/firmwares/
(Delete spaces)
2.Create an account.
3.Then you need to use the ‘Search’ box and type in your Galaxy S5 model number.– the model number is listed under Settings > More > About Device > Build Number.– enter the correct build number.
4.Download one of the stock Android firmware files that matches your Galaxy S5 model.
5.Extract the contents of the zip file and save the files on your PC.– there should a .tar.md5 file, don’t extract any further than that.
6.Next, download Odin 3.09 from below link.
http:// android host.org/get/PVAIv
(Delete Space)
7.Extract ODIN zip contents and save the file on your PC.
8.Make sure that the phone is switched off.– remove its battery and then re-insert it after ten seconds.
9.Boot the Galaxy S5 in Download Mode.
(Turn off the device>With the device turned off, press Volume Down, Home and Power Buttons simultaneously>Once you see the warning message, release all buttons>Press Volume Up to enter download mode>Now your device should be in download mode)
10.Launch ODIN executable on your PC.
11.Connect your phone to your PC via USB data cable. – wait for ODIN to recognize your phone, then continue to the next step.
12.Go to ODIN window and click on the AP button.
13.Load the .tar.md5 file extracted in step 5.– that is the stock Android OS file.– don’t change any other default ODIN Settings, just make sure that ‘Re-partitioning’ is disabled.
14.Now you can press the START button for the installation to begin. Wait for ODIN to complete the flashing process of a new and stock Android ROM for your Samsung Galaxy S5.
After the phone boots you should be able to enter your default Gmail account and take control over your phone once again.
Hope that this way you start up your phone.
If you found this helpful, there's a thunbsup button (thanks button), just press it

Thanks for the reply. The phone will not boot at all, even download mode.
Ok. So i'm trying to follow these directions with my s5 and have not had any luck. Im using this post for the unbrick file. I get past the part where it writes to the sd card but when it comes to the fdisk part im confused on which trigger to use cause the -1 does nothing on macosx. If anybody has had any luck trying this could they please help.

An update if anyone is wondering. I have got it to boot from sd and have flashed 2 different stock files and the only way to boot is to have the sd card in. Still trying to find out how to boot without....
If you can get it to boot just use the downgrade to nce Odin file and start over

What happens if you put it in download mode, then pull the SD card. If you can do that then try the NCE firmware if it'll let you and see what happens. It's worth a try
