I want to make boot logo, and I did it long before, when I had atrix 4g. There was FAQ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1187337
But how make logo for atrix hd?
I made logo according to that manual, but what will happen with atrix hd if this is wrong?

Provided you followed that guide and made the image the same resolution as the phone's screen it should work. If it doesn't you'll just have to boot into fastboot and flash the OG logo.
doesn't work. Could anyone make logo? Maybe I did something wrong
I have original logo(you can find it in attached files). Size of it is 874800. And it doesn't contain header that we must add in front of logo for atrix 4g(00:00:00:00 00:00:00:00 00:00:02:1c 00 00:03:c0)
I made my own logo from bmp (R5G6B5) and size of it is 1843200. And my own logo shows as square in the center of my screen with grey lines.
Here is one I did folloing the instructions from that thread but it doesnt work for me neither.
any ideas?
I've always been under the idea that you have to use Linux to get the picture to a IMG file

Thanks NikonElite, it worked like a charm
Or
Why dont you just use Android Flasher for the PC
Make your BMP image, at the right size for you phone
Then select Splash in Android Flasher
Select image
Flash done
recently after i flashed a rom, i press reboot, then the screen shows nothing, not even the HTC logo (it might have booted, just not showing anything, i hear it vibrate), i wait for 20 mins but screen still doesn't show anything, tried flashing different roms but still the same! Any idea why?
also the bootloader doesn't show up on the screen, i have to guess whether recovery might be selected and only recovery shows up..

The blue logo is TWRP. You should be able to boot into TWRP recovery and flash the backup nandroid you, hopefully, made.
I can see the boot logo but how do i get into recovery mode on the kfhd 7 2012 version? If this doesnt work is the fastboot cable an option

Edit: wrong topic I replied in. Sorry.
Edit 2: To get into TWRP turn the Kindle on and when you see the yellow Kindle Fire logo press and hold volume up button up. Keep holding and when you see the blue Kindle Fire log count to three and release the volume up and wait for the Kindle to boot into TWRP.
Thanks I but the recovery and it worked thank you so much!!

Hi,
My Razr I got stuck at the Red boot animation a few days ago. Its the animation of the red logo and intel logo and not the static M logo that comes at the start.
In detail, the phone shows the M animation where the waves are shown, sometimes it even shows the the intel animation and then returns to the animated M logo (Please note that it does not reboot and the static red logo does not appear). The phone keeps on doing this until I turn off the phone using the fastboot menu. Sometimes the phone passes the boot animation and turns on for about a couple of minutes until it starts happening again.
The phone has a locked boot-loader and is unrooted. Its on Stock 4.1.2 unrooted rom. Previously the phone used to have the problem of being stuck at the static M logo but @skupi20 found a workaround which was to use RSD lite and the stock rom and flash the system_signed file by editing the xml file. This used to fix the problem whenever it occurred. but flashing system_signed does not fix this problem. I have even tried flashing everything except for the erase_userdata phrase(I do not want to lose the data). The link to the previous problem's solution is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2420032
I think the problem is not in the system files anymore thats why flashing it does not work. And as the phone does work sometimes it means something is causing the system to be stuck at the animation most of the time.
I would also like to mention that the phone has also booted to safemode a few times but it kept on saying Homescreen has stopped working so I couldn't do anything. I tried opening the settings and it said Sattings stopped working and closed it too.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and I would be really thankful. Ihave tried to explain everything in detail but ask me if there is any other question.
Can anybody maybe help me understand what each of the partitions are for in the stock rom's xml file. Or maybe direct me to another thread where it is already explained. Thanks.
Since nobody said anything. I erased userdata(So had to lose all data) as well and it works fine now. I flashed a complete stock version of the Rom.
Was on vacation, so i would not reply to it. But the userdata erase was the only solution
Okay then you can take a pass since you were on vacation.

hmm, i am wondering, do u have a xt890. This device doesn't have a droid eye But it has a red motorola logo or a unlcok message.
Anyway, can u access fastboot? Do u have an unlocked bootloader? If u can access fastboot, can u boot in recovery.

He did post over there in a few places also... Provided the same almost "details"... Just waiting on his reply
We cannot teach people anything; we can only help them discover it within themselves.
Any chance someone could make this image into a flashable splash screen image. Not sure how but I think it would make a good one
Use the tool from this thread to create the boot logo (splash screen).
