[Q] SOS! Galaxy Tab GT-P1000T dead!! Please Help

I own a Galaxy Tab GT-P1000T (Android 2.2 Froyo), I was fiddling with it just to explore more out of Android. I did the rooting alright (with SuperOneClick method). Next, I installed ROM manager from Android Market....and I don't know, I did something with ROM Manager on my Tab. Now it goes to a boot screen (a combination of blue and yellow writings), shows following:
Android system recovery <3e>
Samsung Recovery Utils
- for BML -
Enter: Home Key, Select: Vol Up / Vol Down
reboot system now
apply sdcard:update.zip
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
Guys I've tried all of the above using Vol up/down and home key - but with no avail.
Now my tab is stuck with a exclamatory sign in a triangle with an android icon.
I AM A TOTAL NEWBIE - AND WOULD NOT UNDERSTAND MUCH OF THE TERMS USED (I'VE LOOKED AROUND A WHILE HERE IN THIS FORUM FOR SOLUTION)
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME SOLVE MY PROBLEM....PLEASE! PLEASE!

look for p1000t rom ... download it ..
off your tab , volume down long press , with turn on long press , your tab will boot in download mode , via odin flash the rom you downloaded now . hope i helped u

follow the steps and u should run gingerbread and forget about froyo

The gingerbread stock rom is fine, but if you are going with overcome 2.0 you might experience some bugs that has not been resolved yet.

[Q] i think i broke it :(

i have a samsung galaxy s2 mini. was trying to get a new rom on it and when i finished it the rom was cought up in a boot loop.
then i tried using odin to put a new cwm on it and maybe start a new instalation, but now all i get is the samsung welcome screen and it keeps reseting cant enter cwm anymore. i can still use download mode.
is there any way i can put any rom on it and just make the phone usable?

if you can still get into download mod run ODIN, connect phone to computer and flash CWM or a custom rom though ODIN... simple

i tried doing that. maybe i did something wrong in wich part of odin do i put the rom? (bootloader, pda, phone,csc) do i have to check some of the options like repartition?

yea its solved now. the problem was i was using an older version of cwm. downloaded the new one and worked like a charm

4. Press PIT and choose tassve_0623.pit

6. Press PHONE and choose MODEM_S5570I....
7. Press CSC and choose GT-S5570I-MULTI....
8. Shut down your phone if it isn't
9. Reboot it in ODIN Mode (Volume Down + Home + Power)
10. Press Volume Up to enter The Odin Download Mode
11. Now the ODIN should recognize your phone (Yellow text comes up in the program LEFT upper corner)
12. Press start
13. Just wait and your phone will auto reboot.
Change the language by pressing the bottom right button when booted, because it will start at some language i don't know

THIS IS NOT A QUESTION, THIS IS A ANSWER TO YOUR PROBLEMS
1. Download this: S5570I.rar
Extract it
2. Open Odin3_v1.84.exe
3. Press BOOTLOADER and choose DefaultCalData....
4. Press PIT and choose tassve_0623.pit
5. Press PDA and choose PDA_S5570I....
6. Press PHONE and choose MODEM_S5570I....
7. Press CSC and choose GT-S5570I-MULTI....
8. Shut down your phone if it isn't
9. Reboot it in ODIN Mode (Volume Down + Home + Power)
10. Press Volume Up to enter The Odin Download Mode
11. Now the ODIN should recognize your phone (Yellow text comes up in the program LEFT upper corner)
12. Press start
13. Just wait and your phone will auto reboot.
Change the language by pressing the bottom right button when booted, because it will start at some language i don't know

hey there i flashed CWM of GT-S5570 by error and now my phone is stuck in BOOTLOADER ,please help me i did everything from the instruction and i guess it should work but there is one problem , ODIN dont reconise my phone when i plug it and i dont know why please can you give me a solution

Hello FixMyProblems, thank you for the guide.
I have a problem, when i press Volume Down + Home + Power, nothing happens, than i pressed Volume Up + Home + Power, and the Odin recognized my phone, and i do everything as you say in the first post, but Odin stuks on: "<ID:0/004> SetupConnection..".

I have the same problem. as @kenshiro1.
No matter what I try, my device is always being recognised but downloading stuff to it always fails. It just hangs everytime. I also tried with Kies but there I'm always stuck at the "connecting" screen. I really don't know what to try anymore...

tried to uninstall the kies ...
then boot into download mode .. maybe it will work now...
i already tried this before but i didn't had any problem like you guy's

Hi there, i tried to flashed with CWM my GT-S5570I to be able to upgrade GB to YB, now my phone is stuck in BOOTLOADER, please help me. ODIN don't reconise my phone when i plug it.
I have installed latest kies Odin 4.42 as your site suggested and many other Odins since I got soke files for PDA, modem and CSC but can't try them since I'm not getting Odin to acknowledge my phone. please can you give me a solution. Thanks in advance.

hey there,, i have a problem here.. ODIN can only detect my phone when i boot it to the never-ending samsung-logo--flickering.. But, when i boot to download mode, ODIN is unable to detect my phone.. help please ;(

[TUT] "invisible" Downloadmode

Hey guys
If you have flashed a wrong software and your device is bricked but you can't enter downloadmode or recovery menu, because it shows a black screen, you have to follow these steps to enter the ''invisible'' downloadmode:
1. Install latest Samsung drivers on your computer
2. Run odin as an administrator
3. Take out the battery of your phone
4. Press Vol. up + Vol. down + Power
5. Insert the battery while pushing the buttons
6. Wait till the second time backlight goes on
7. Connect your device to the computer
8. Press two times Vol. up
9. Odin recognizes your device
I called it the ''invisible'' downloadmode because your phone doesn't shows that it is in downloadmode, but still it is

Copy it to your sd card
Go to stock recovery by pressing vol. up button + home button + power button
Use Volume up and down to move up and down and home button to select
Press update from sdcard and find this file
Your phone is rooted

Get CWM recovery on Samsung Galaxy Mini
Download CWM_GT-S5570i.zip
Place it in your SD card
Just go to Update from SD card in stock recovery
You will have to flash through stock recovery every time if you want to go to CWM recovery
Now you can flash ROMS!!

For stock rom is about the same as unbricking. You can use that to go back to Android version 2.3.6
For flashing kernel/custom rom i would usually use ClockWorkMod Recovery

that doesn't work for me: i get "installation aborted" message
also I've tried SuperOneClickv2.3.3 and it gets stuck on step #7...
I've installed samsung usb drivers, android SDK kit, turned on usb debugging mode, unmounted sd card... even tried to flash in stock recovery mode. nothing
i usually have "lots of crap" learning curve with every single one obstacle that can occur so please please, help me
