Does anyone here know how to get push-notifications for Facebook? I'm an former iPhone user and i liked the push-notifications it had, but i am wondering can you get push-notifications on Galaxy S. Thanks.
Yeah i would like to know this also

But in the iPhone is it not the application itself doing the notifications?!? I never had an iPhone so that's why I am asking. Because if is so, then the developers who are building the application for Android should implement this option..
hi i just bought 2 galaxy tabs and pretty happy with them.
just wondering does anyone have an app that shows the current draw? old app i used on HTC devices doesn't work on galaxy tab
thanks in advance
What do you need two tabs for? One for flashing a rom and one for stock? O_O
Anyway, try Elixir. It provides widgets with a crazy lot of information.

I've noticed the calendar app seems a little buggy on my friends Nexus S (2.3.4), (he's complaining that he can't go BACK in time hehe)...
Is there some way to give my friend the calendar app from my SGS2? Has anyone done this? Would it work? Would it be better or worse or?
Or does anyone have any alternative recommendations?
Hey guys,
I was just wondering if the Samsung WatchOn app can work on the HTC One. I just found it in the play store
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tv.peel.samsung.app
No. Says not compatible for your device. Ironically none of my Samsung devices are compatible for it...

Why would you use the one from Samsung rather than the one this phone has? Works flawlessly

I prefer the Samsung app. More options. For instance, instead of just searching for all sports, you can search for just basketball, or just baseball. Instead of all movies, you can do just action, or just comedy.
HTC is fine app but I'd use the Samsung app if I could

Hi everyone,
I've been lurking on the xda forums since I had a pocket pc in 2007/8, but I rarely post at all. Though I think its amazing how prolific the users are on the forums. However, I have been surfing the Galaxy 900a forum for quite a while, reading on updates about the phone's rom, bootloader lockdown and the like. it's a bit unfortunate we won't be able to use the phone, like the galaxy s2 (Still my favorite phone to date).
So I have a question for everyone: Is anyone actually using the modified touchwiz roms found in the android development, or are you using stock with root? And I guess a followup question I'd like to ask is, if you're okay with how the phone's android development turned out. Just curious.
Thanks,
Americo24
I'm just fine running the stock rooted deodex. I use TiB to freeze most of the Samsung/ATT apps and replace the launcher and keyboard to Apex and SwiftKey respective. In the past I had a Nexus 4 and ran Paranoid Android, so I've used both flavors of Android. To me as long as it works good I'm happy!
