Hello Guys,
I was flashing my SI, two weeks ago and it got frozen, so I had to take my battery out. After that, my phone doesn't turn on, I've tried everything, even USB jig. But It's dead still.
I also tried the USB jig into my Galaxy SII and into my friend's Galaxy SI, It worked perfectly. (just to make sure that the problem is in my phone)
Is there something else that I could try to do?
Thank you, Lucas.

I've tried put into download mode, so many times and didn't work. That's why I bought an USB jig, even plugging the usb jig it doesn't boot into download mode :/
I have done flashing into my Galaxy SII and twice into my galaxy SI. But, the last time, which was the third time, I did something wrong. (By the way, I was flashing to official room)
Try removing the battery, press the 3 button combo and put the battery back in while you're holding the buttons (you will need some help I guess). Try the same with the JIG.
Edit/ What exactly went wrong?
Okay, I'll try. Tell you if it worked later. Need get some charge.
Thanks a lot.
I've tried and it didn't work.
Thanks for your help.

Your welcome!
Did you update the bootloader while flashing? Actually it's really hard to brick an SGS completely... Do you remember what exactly you did when you flashed the phone?
The last chance would be JTAG (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7edUXE7jLg).
Regards!
What happens when u try to recharge. Does the battery icon show?
try to recharge the phone for an hour.then pull the battery, leave it out for an hour. Put it back and try download mode. Last chance, before jtag,i think
Well, while I was flashing with odin I probably used an incorrect room and it got frozen. I don't know why I took the battery out.. I could just wait and put it to flash again.
Anyway I watched the video and I gave up. I don't have those stuffs and I won't spend money with a £120 phone.
Thanks once more. I'm really thankful.
Nope, whatever I do my phone doesn't show anything. I did charge my battery for few hours and the phone got hot (normally, as all phones does while charging) and I tried put into download mode and didn't work.
Thank you, Lucas.
may be..there is only one way..giving ur fone in samsung..
obviously u will have to lose few bucks from ur pocket..

Flash abyss kernel. Get into abyss kernel by reboot into recovery and do a full wipe (wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache and wipe dalvik) then flash a rom of your choice.
Thanks
Can you give me link to abyss kernel please :good:
Sorry, also how to flash kernel
Sorry for many questions, i am new to this, but learning fast
If you are flashing in Odin bare in mind there are 2 pit files one for the 16gb and one for the 32gb versions of the phone. It wont boot if youve used the wrong pit file

Power off your Note.
Hold Volume down & Home & press Power button. Then when you see the Samsung logo, let go of the Power button. Your phone will boot into Odin/download mode. Press Volume up when asked to. Now you are in download mode.
Connect your phone with usb cable to your computer.
On your computer, run PC Odin. You should see a yellow highlighted COM sign. If you don’t, download Samsung Kies and install it. Then plug-out and plug-in the micro-USB cable to your Galaxy Note and you should see it.
Then click on PDA, and select the pit file then press start.
Sir my advice go to dr ketans thread find pre rooted gb rom for your country start from the begining flash it via pc odin be patient read everything carefully... It is described there...

I tried to flash a Stock rom with ODIN 4.38 and after the rom has finished downloading it didn't reboot. Now it won't turn on or even show the Samsung glowing logo.

You should flash with at least 50% of the battery.
Try charging or make this:
Take out the sim card, sd card and battery.
Connect to pc.
Press download mode buttons combination for 6 secs or more.
Put the battery.
Run Odin as administrator.

Type:
adb reboot - for normal boot
adb reboot recovery - for recovery mode
adb reboot bootloader - for download mode
from your PC
i think it's my fault, but maybe i can do something to unbreak it?
here it goes.
i downloaded the latest build from this rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2199575
when first i entered CWM and wiping everything, i try to flash the rom, but the installation aborted with 'error 7'
so i look for error 7 in google, and get into this video which explain how to bypass it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QW1znjDLe-k
i did exactly what he said, and remove the assert till the ' ; '
after that i ziped it back and send it again to my phone, and again get into CWM.
the installation went OK.
it said so .
i did a reboot, but then the phone didn't power up.
he is very dead
is it final, or i can do something to revive it?
thanks!
Status 7 error is due to a corrupt rom file. Download the rom again, place it on sd card & flash again.

not working, because after i insert the battery, and start odin, it don't recognize any device that connected to the computer.
but, if i press the Volume UP + home + power, it install USB drivers of the phone, and in odin i see that it know that something is connected to the computer in: com 39.
but i cant flash the firmware, because it's stuck on setup connection...

Downloading mode is volume down+home+power & in doing this, you must see downloading written in yellow letters on your screen. Then you're good to go.

check that have you installed the USB driver ? because it matters a lot...
You can download it from here

If it connects to the PC then first rectangle becomes yellow.
Best Luck!!!

Hi All,
Need some help. My Samsung S3 mini i2800L was flashed with the wrong firmware in an attempt to upgrade to Jellybean 4.2.2 using odin and it failed . It remained in download mode and I did a battery pull ,now the phone is absolutely dead. Black Screen for all the following:Recovery Mode and Download Mode .The phone wont power on at all. The only sign of life , is when I plugged into my girl friend's Toshiba laptop via usb cable and it searched and installed the drivers. In addition Windows makes a sound when the device is plugged in and unplugged, but is not being recognized by Kies or Odin. I also tried a USB JIG with no success.
Is there any debrick file that I can use for to place on my SD card and attempt to boot from SD, or is JTAG the only option left?
Only JTAG
