Hey.
My moms Incredible S suddenly starts getting sms's about what cell tower she is connected to, it started after updating to 2.3.5/Sense 3.0 , and the phone is not rootet.
The messages comes in a pop up, and then she got the options to save it or cancel it, and the number that "sends" these messages is : 50 .
Anybody knows how to turn this **** off, cause she gets like 10-20 in a single hour.
Did you try to disable the notifications from the Messaging app>>Settings>>Notifications?

I have experienced alot of bugs on my HTC Desire C n dunno if i can fix them without installing another ROM ..
my bugs r :
1) sometimes when the phone is connected to the computer .. the screen doesnt wake up when the phone rings ..
2) sometimes application just DISAPPEAR while doing anything on it .. it kills the app ..
3) Viber RINGS n VIBRATES while the phone is still ON MY EAR n i'm on a regular call .. n vice versa ..
4) when i'm on a regular call n turn on the loudspeakers .. sometimes the screen turn off n i CANT turn it on again by anyway ..
5) phone recieves video calls as regular calls with blacked out photos ..
6) sometimes it doesnt vibrate until i restart the phone
7) flip the phone to turn on speakers feature doesnt work ..
i only had the first problem with custom brightness then i switched to autobrightness and i can see the calls while charging <this is a known bug from the software
i dont have the other problems altough one time some apps dissapeared ,but it was because i deleted the data on some sense apps which made the apps dissapear from the menu but still showing in settings>apps

BUGS
no u cannot remove ur bugs without rooting...but u can solve this phone display blackout on calls by updating ur phone from...settings > about > software updates....if it displays "no update found for ur phone"...then u will hav to wait for updates...but many of d users found d updates....try doing it everyday...it may happen anytime...(as it was d case wid me...)
OR U SHOULD TRY FACTORY RESET BY FIRST BACKING UP ALL UR DATA....

Hello there
I am using ViperOne 1.2.1 and loving it so far. I am aware that when the device goes to sleep, Mobile Data goes to sleep as well (or is turned off, w.e you want to call it). When I wake the device up, I immediately go to Google Chrome to test if Data reconnected and it works fine. I then go to WhatsApp and unfortunately it's basically disconnected - I test by going to any chat and waiting for the "Last seen today @.." message on top; it also takes a long time to reconnect.. well, truthfully, it's not very long but it's about 1 - 2 minutes, it's just frustrating because I know my Mobile Data is working fine.
I have two questions:
1) I Googled and I came across an article saying that WhatsApp automatically tries to connect every five minutes, so is it possible to change that interval to something less? I couldn't find anything under settings.
2) Is there any chance that I keep Mobile Data connected even when the devices goes to sleep? I tried looking under settings and developer options but I couldn't find anything.
Thank you!
i am so annoyed with my note 4. it constantly freezes during phone calls. like i will be talking and then suddenly i can't hear them and they can't hear me. i end the call but it doesn't go away. there will be a small box floating in the top left corner of the screen that says the call is still ongoing and the only way to get rid of the box is to reboot the phone. after a reboot the phone calls will work fine for a limited time then back to the same thing. also some of the games i play will freeze up randomly and will require a reboot of the phone. i am completely stock and unrooted and ready to throw this thing out the damn window! never had any problems on my note 3. i get good bars in my house and never use wifi calling because that's even worse. anyone else have this issue?

If a full wipe hasn't worked for you, I will recommend you actually ODIN to the latest firmware. Make sure you wipe before the first bootup.
When ever I buy a new device I always run it on a fresh wipe and an ODIN
Take care of the pesky things lol but stock should definitely not be behaving like this.
Worst come to worst, I hope you got a store warrantee you can replace it at.
didn't work unfortunately. now it turns out my wifes N4 does the same thing. didn't find this out until after i wiped my phone though. she claims it only happens to her when she's at home. would this make a difference?
Try disabling VoLTE.

This setting is missing on my Note 4...Brand new from T-Mobile. Kies says I have the most up to date firmware. 3 screenshots...one from phone that is not mine that has the setting that is missing on my phone...the other 2 are from my phone that show the missing setting and all the details of my device. Any clues on how to add that setting or another way to access it on the Note 4? (My note 4 is rooted.)

What ROM are you on. Try flashing a stock one.
BAD ASS NOTE 4 + BAD ASS GEAR S
Hi folks,
I've the weird bug that sometimes I can't answer an incoming call. The accept button is not reacting if I'm trying to press. I don't think this has something to do with the touch, since I can see that the green button is getting greyed out as soon as I press on it. The only workaround seems to be a restart.
Did any of you had the same issue? What would be the best solution for that? For the record: I'll factory reset my device soon, but maybe this is a software bug or sth.
Thanks!
Update: Did a factory reset. Before I did a backup with HiSuite and restored the data (would not recommend since it doesn't restored all the apps) but the issue still occurred a few calls later. I hope this will be fixed with the next update.
Similar issue
Hello did this problem still occur? I have a similar issue where I recieve an incoming call with the ringtone but it doesn't appear fully in my screen like a phone calls does. Instead it appears when you slide down to check notifications in your phone and it disappears and reappears while the call is coming through. I also cannot accept the call as it doesn't seem to work, I have restarted my phone 3 times since and nothing changed. Also this morning while I was in the phone to one person, for 2 seconds it disconnected and stated calling another contact. I did think about factory resetting but I'm not sure if I should do or not. Never had a problem with my handset up until now.

exactly the same problem occured to my P20 lite today. The more: at my outgoing calls I can get a connection, but when I put the phone on my ear the screen goes dark and lit periodically as if I touched it (in fact by face but it didn't do it this way in the past, the phone "recognized" the touch by cheek). It is similar to on/off switching of a notification tab when call is incoming. I was recommended to make a factory reset by a support guy at O2.

Also having the exact same issue on my Huawei P10. But the fact that the same problem appeared to you guys at the exact same time makes me feel relieved, this is certainly a problem on Huawei's end that will soon be fixed

Hello!
Had the same issue with friends Huawei P20 Lite with the incoming call showing only on notification bar, flickering and reapearing all the time. Found something that could help you out, worked for my friend so maybe you can try too. Go to Settings-Apps-Apps(again)-3 dots on right upper corner-Show System Processes From here find 3 apps (Phone, Phone Services and Phone/Messaging Storage). Open each up, press - Force Stop, then press Storage and Clear both (Cache and Data). Should be it. Then try to call your phone from different number to check if it helped you.
My p20 lite started with this yesterday too. Unable to answer calls or hang up. Flashing screen. I had to do a full back up using HiSuite and then restore to factory settings. I've used HiSuite to restore my phone but I can't get the apps to work properly. I wonder if there has been an update that has screwed everything up.
try this
