Hi
Often this problem is happening the other end. I've noticed this issue on several phones not just the Diamond.
The problem can often happen if you are calling another mobile and they have their volume up loud. The Diamond seems to send quite a loud clear sound as I've had a few friends on mobiles say they were "turning me down" volume wise
Where the person you are calling has a mobile with the volume up loud, your voice arrives at their mobile, it is then sent out very loudly to their earpiece, and their phones own microphone picks it and transmits it back to you, so you hear an echo of your own voice. If others you are calling complain they hear their own voice echo, then turn your own volume down.
Some people have their mobiles so loud you can hear the other side of a conversation, and they are probably making themselves deaf in the process.
Try asking the person you call next time to turn down their earpiece volume, or you talk quieter and see if it stops.

or is it the network problem?

I doubt it is. It is all digital where would an echo get introduced?
The echo's I've heard are all produced by the person I'm calling with my voice so loud it is being picked up by their microphone and sent back to me with a delay added by the network and they just need to turn their volume down to resolve it. Tiny small phones and really load ear pieces are the cause as far as I've found.

Hi. Wondered if anyone had been having these issues with their phone? When dialling out the phone very often just emits a loud beep and cuts off the call before even dialling. Then after trying a few times it actually rings out but after making a short horrible screeching noise? Anyone help please?
Hi everybody. Quick question. Are you getting a static crackling noise in the earpiece? I noticed it goes away when the phone is in airplane mode. The noise is very subtle, I noticed it when talking to someone... But it remains even in standby. Hope to hear your opinions. Thanks.
I was experiencing the same issue & it was driving me nuts! Not to mention I had this problem straight out the box.. what finally helped was turning out the voice response option in Bixby settings.. I figured maybe that voice response was picking up my voice while on a call thinking I was giving a command.. Turned it off & it was instantly better!
Good morning
I'm experiencing a 3 seconds delay when I make or receive a call.. When on speakerphone works without any problem..
I think there is something is the main mic! Tried to rec WhatsApp audio etc and all works good.
The problem is only on calls!
I noticed this if connecting my phone to car blutooth ... my car speakers rings significantly before the phone
Hi there,
I finally got my MI11 (global version), but I'm quite disapointed because the primary function of the phone (making calls) seems not that great :/
The mobile signal strength is quite low at my house like 1 bar, that caused some quality drops while in call on my old MI9T but nothing very dramatic.
This new Mi 11 is having a lot of troubles on that point, sometimes outgoing calls hangs for 30+ seconds and fail, and when I can make a call, the callee is having a really bad time hearing me.
When in call if I put the phone on my desk, about 10 seconds later the call drops, I can hear the callee but the callee can't hear me and then the call drops.
Anyone experiencing such things?
Calls seems to work fine when I'm outside...
I had similar problems on my previous Lenovo z6 pro phone, the software replacement helped, you can also try to change the network settings in the additional menu by entering the code * # * # 4636 # * # *

Better way is simply to ask at your provider VoLTE and above all VoWiFi (in your case)
