[Q] earphone connection problem - XPERIA X8 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hello all.. i am connecting brainwavz m5 to my x8 headphone jack. this earphone has 3 lines which is usually compatible with x8.. but after connecting it to x8, it sounds tinny and muffled and only sounds correct when i keep holding the remote button on the iem. so my question is that is this iem compatible with our x8? i have connected this to various other devices and it has worked with many phones including old nokia phones too but i cant play it correctly on x8 only. any help would be appreciated. and i was thinking to connect a 3.5mm male to 3.5mm female connector first and then connect my x8.. would this even work??
edit: i read the faqs and its written that the x8 supports only 2 lined 3.5mm jack.. but that was not the case.. my original x8 headphones which i got along with it has 3 bands and its fully functioning

the headphones of the x8 are "special" they have the wires inverted or something like that i dont remember cuz i read it a while in another forum

is there any converter i could use to make it sound correct?

yup !! ~ Perhaps, if you have a headphone with a microphone swith(on/off) along the wire you can try this
-turn off the switch
-insert the jack partially
-play some songs(so the current flows)
-wait 3 seconds or more until sounds from the speaker is off
-push the jack in completely..
its worth a try..(it works with my AVF headphone )

thanks for the input but im afraid that doesnt work on my brainwavz m5..

Bluetooth Headset (For one ear)

I've been searching on both the forum and net for suggestions on a bluetooth headset. I mostly see people suggesting a two ear headphone type, which does look nice. Unfortunately, I work with people a lot and wearing such a headset is a big no-no. I'll get complained on in a heartbeat. I would like something that can push music from my phone, take calls, and of course work with an HD2 on Energy roms. No headphone types please just take up one ear.
Any suggestions?

I got this Samsung WEP 870, the sounds quality is not bad consider that price tag is $30+. I used that for music and talk. You can also hook it with the stereo lanyard. Attached the link for reference.

I know I don't want be that guy. I work patrol and have to one ear on my unit's raido at all times. Thus, I wouldn't benefit from wearing stereo headphone in the unit. And just thinking of getting down on a call with headphones covering both ears makes we wonder how fast someone would call in to say, "he was listening to music and it's very disrespectful." It's one of things that sets policy and gets a guy canned. But, like I said before they look sweet.
Too bad your radio doesn't support blue tooth.
plantronics voyager 855 works well with either one ear or with the detachable stereo ear piece.

docking station

hi everyone there some one who can show me a good docking station, maybe with the slot for the charging of a second battery? ?

Sorry for being link-lazy, but http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/ have a good selection of HD2 equipment, and I have had good experience with them.
(However ignore the 'magic slip mat' which claims to hold your phone through stickiness. It works well with some phones but not with our beloved
I use this one, and its perfect in every way.

That URL is for an HTC Desire...
This one is even with sound. But I don't have it yet and there could be a problem with the US t-mobile HD2.

For those people who want to plug in headphones to listen to music on their phone. However, I saw this charger a number of months ago, and I remember people who purchased it were complaining that they weren't getting stereo sound from attached headphones, but Mono.
And, to boot, the ad states plainly "This cradle will not fit T-Mobile HD2 phone." This is most likely because the US and European versions of the HD2 are not exactly the same size. Luckily, there's a 30 day money back guarantee...

If you have a previous iPod dock, you can convert it using this cable.

[Q] generic charger problem.. phone freeze

Today I got from a big Pc store a generic charger which has two inputs car/home and two outputs usb 1000 mA and 500 mA.
Connected the IS and in all my years I've never seen something like that. Phone charges but touch screen is not responding while connected to that charger. Tried both outputs, different outlet in the house, even another charger with one usb at 500 mA. Only with that charger I bought today the problem exists. As soon as I disconnect it the screen works again..
Any ideas?

yes thought of the data pins too but (I opened it) they're so tight soldered to the board that was difficult to do anything.. anyway.. I'll probably try to return it.
FYI all of you since these chargers are Chinese and pretty widespread look like that (nevermind the label)

I am looking for new desktop speakers

Hey people as I said in the title I am looking for some new speakers for my desktop. However, thanks to my current dual monitor setup I need either really short speakers or something like laptop sound bar so the speakers don't get hidden behind the monitors. So if someone has any suggestions that be great.

No I do not unfortunately, here is a pic to show how much space I have, as you can see I currently already have a speaker hidden behind them.

Bump I'd still like to hear some suggestions, preferably for speakers under 100 dollars and I only need 2 speakers since I wouldn't be able to spread out surround sound speakers properly in the room I have my computer in.
Under your budget are the m-audio av30 speakers.

At $149, I'd definitely recommend the av40.

It's a microphone.

Android is run by tiny little Android mice inside the phone - this is an air hole for them to breathe through.
No air = No Android, so make sure not to block this hole under any circumstances (including with a case).

As strange as it sounds this is actually the correct answer. Mice are extremely efficient air to energy conversion ecosystems, and they are used primarily to provide enough power to the extra pixels of the QHD display in the Nexus 6. DO NOT COVER THE HOLE.
Is this the only microphone on this device?(one for noise canceling?) Or is there another one somewhere else, maybe in the lower speaker grille or something?

Truth is in BOLD.
Possibly a 3rd by the camera as others have stated (I can't comment since I haven't verified).
