Payout Schedule - App Stores

Looks like they redid the forum a little so I apologize if this question is in the wrong area.
Hello All,
I have been a Google Mobile App Developer for over 2 years now and am a little confused by the new payout schedule.
From My Merchant Google Wallet Dashboard:
Current Transaction Processing 5/1/13 - 5/31/13
Previous Month's Payout Date 5/15/13
Next Payout Date 6/15/13
The first thing that confuses me is how can the Current Transaction Processing be for 5/1/2013 - 5/31/2013 if hasn't even happened yet. Usually the Current Transaction Processing is the one just ended and the amount being processed is how much money you will get on the 15th.
The second thing is how can the PREVIOUS month's payout date be 5/15/2013??? That date is in the future so how can it be my previous months payout. It should say 4/15/2013.
The third thing is the NEXT payout date should be 5/15/2013 NOT 6/15/2013.
These dates have been screwy like this since the payout date changed.
ALSO, in the past, every payday we are paid for ALL sales up until the cut off date. Used to be the 1st now it's the 15th. But my last pay on 4/15/2013 was short $471. $471
I earned before the cut off date but was not paid MY money. WHY??????????
Any enlightenment would help me greatly!! I use my earnings to pay my bills and not knowing how much I can depend on STINKS!

Soon the days of worrying about accidental damage to your ATT Tilt, or other PDA device, will be long gone. While we have yet to confirm this with AT&T themselves, it looks like the wireless company is getting ready to roll out a new insurance program that will cover all of the devices that they currently offer. Previous insurance programs have only been available for low-cost phones, with high-end smartphones left out to dry. Beginning June 2nd, however, that will be a thing of the past. For $4.99/month, subscribers can secure a replacement device should their current handset suffer some unmentionable fate. Better yet, the new plan only requires a $50 deductible for replacement. Good news all around, folks.

There are so many independant insurers out there that are doing the same thing, except they charge an upfront cost of 60 dollars for the year instead of monthly payments of 5 dollars.

Ordering From UK Clove

ok can someone please tell me what kind of duties you pay when u order from clove from the uk to usa? i want to know should i order there or order from expansys usa. expansys usa is charging like 940 for the unit where as clove uk with the conversion rate is about 760

My shipment was delayed by 1-2 days since they required some additional confirmation of my shipping address in the US (another complication was I was shipping to WORK, different from my billing address!)
I emailed them asking about my order, at which point they said 'oh yea we require some additional infor since you're a "first time customer"', so I sent them a copy of a random bill, and a copy of the top of my paystub (since it had my work address on it -- they didn't ask for this). Said I was good to go and they shipped it later that day...
however I anticipated receiving (via DHL) this afternoon -- tracking now says its "on hold" -- I called DHL, and the phone did not clear customs. Apparently DHL did not add it to the cargo manifest so it was not cleared while in the air. Plane lands, they unload, have no record of customs clearance so they hold it. I had to send DHL a copy of my 1040, and apparently they do customs clearing late at night, which means my X1 is hanging out in Ohio right now (I'm in ATL); hopefully it gets moving, and FAST, once they clear it. But they said that could take 1-2 business days.
I am going to NYC on Wednesday, I REALLLLY want the X1 before then (you know, Google Maps n stuff )
But the Clove price was GREAT! Anticpated paying much more, especially considering other retailers are listing in the 8-900s+, where I thought I would have to be paying...

I ordered from Clove and they were awesome. Excellent communication, great price and delivered as promised. They notified me ahead of time about the credit card verification process (which is a good thing) so that didn't slow my order down. Other than that catch ordering through them, it was a smooth, easy transaction.
I ordered back at the beginning of October and didn't ship immediately so I can't comment on the processing time to ship for in stock items. However, I got an email on 10/20 saying my X1 would ship on 10/27 and they were right on. Also, my card was not charged until it was shipped.
Bottom line, I'd highly recommend them on price, service and quality. Not to mention super fast DHL 2 day shipping from the UK (for impatient people like me).

Clove was perfect. i had preorders on two other sites that were selling for $950-1000. 425 L + 37 L shipping = 462 L total. In USD, it translated to $739.77. $250+ cheaper than mobileplanet (expansys) or mobilecityonline.
ordered on oct 22nd. received an e-mail on friday the 24th regarding incoming inventory and authorization of credit card, shipped out monday morning the 27th, and received the 29th of wednesday in CT.
interestingly, the box is not sealed (i.e. didn't have the sticker that says nobody has opened it before). did anybody else's have one of those?

I noticed there was no seal too but completely forgot about it when I saw the X1, lol. It looked like they threw in a couple little fliers/ads for software and accessories so maybe that's why.
nice i wanted to know this also given that i was thinkin about ordering from clove also so how much in total were you goes getting them and what kinda shipping did you pay and get overnight? 2 day

I ordered with Clove on the morning of the 24th (this monday), they stated that i would be getting the device on the 30th or 31th (they should be getting stock on the 29th), i just found out now that they're only getting stock on the 12th of November and i had to ask why my order wasn't shipped yet. They didn't warn me before hand that i wasn't getting my order on the date they stated...
I ordered from Clove, UK.
1. I ordered it last Sat online (before the stock dried up )
2. Called early Monday and had some trouble trying to get my Credit card company to give Clove the authorization number (Clove needs it to verify buyer but my CC company doesn't allow distribution to anyone. Finally, Clove just sent it out anyway). I got it WED!!!! No issues with Customs, etc.
3. I paid $712 for the phone (unbranded/unlocked) and 2 Day DHL shipping (which is almost $300 less than other competitors). It was a retail version and brand new.
4.. Their customer service was outstanding, really tried to help me get this phone. They shipped within hours of CC authorization and approval. I got Tracking Number within hours also. They if anything, are too cautious (thats a good thing) with their verification of orders.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND, VERY HONEST SELLER.

I ordered on the 27th of October (I think you meant 27th as well) and haven't gotten any email update yet. Which worries me because now I have to wait as well....uugggh.. Feel like ordering somewhere else then but they say patience is a virtue... T_T
EDIT: As far as a company I ordered from them my Touch Pro back in August and had no issues with the service. Just wish the x1 was more widely available.

much better than Expansys who tried to charge me $965 for the phone, then tried to tell me that Clove is not a good company when i cancelled their order.

I pre-ordered on October 8th thinking that I was assured a unit. Sadly I was mistaken. On Tuesday I had sent an email wondering what had happened to my unit. They replied asking me to send them a recent credit report or transaction number from my credit card company. I choose to send the transaction number since it seemed a safer solution. After checking my credit history I was amazed to see that I was yet to be charged. I sent an email telling them I could not send a transaction number since no transaction was placed, and decided to fax them a credit report stating my address. A day later they emailed me and offered their condolences as they had sold out of Black units and said that the people who confirmed the security check first would receive them first as there was a lot of demand. I told them they had only sent me a security check after requesting information as to the whereabouts of my order. They of course told me all security checks emails were sent out on the same day. This is absolutly absurred.
So to clarify:
-I ordered on the 8th of October
-First batch came in on the 24th
-They sold out on 27th
-Received email for security check on 28th
-Sent security check on 29th (early in the morning)
-Declined first batch on 30th
-Promised (?) a unit on the next shipment, November 12th.
My question is how they can advertize a product for pre-order if they sell the units on a first come first serve basis. Their clumpsyness is unactable.
Well I just got off the phone with Expansys. They tried to switch my order to a US order to "stop me from paying duties and customs taxes." The guy also told me that they always ship US orders from their UK store from the US and Expansys currently has 300 back orders right now.
The last part is the only bit of truth I got out of him. I've ordered from Expansys UK before and it came from the UK and I didn't have to pay any taxes. All he was trying to do was make me pay the higher price on the US website and wait longer. What a crock of #$%^
Long story short, I'm keeping my order with Clove even if I have to wait until Nov 12th for it to ship out. I might try eBay but I don't know if I'm going to risk it not to mention the prices are way too high.

So are you saying that if you ordered from the UK expansys you wouldn't get it anytime? Or are u saying that the US expansys has 300 back orders?

I ordered a TP back in August over a weekend, they processed the transaction on Monday (I sent them an email with the 6-digit transaction number for confirmation) and shipped it out same day. It missed the outbound DHL flight that night but was on its way the next day; had the TP in my hands by 11am Wednesday, west coast US.
For clarification, Clove needs you to confirm your CC only if you're a new customer. This is so that they don't end up exporting the phones to bad orders (black market, etc). As long as you've got your billing/shipping info all straight with your CC issuer (you might also call ahead to let them know to expect the charge in GB Pounds), there should be no major problems, except waiting for stock to arrive.

The guy was very vague and when I'd ask him to clarify he kept asking me how I wanted it shipped (Ground, 2 day, or Next Day)?!?! He made the statement that Expansys had 300 back orders (I would assume UK since the US store is still a preorder). He also said that they are supposed to get more next week but that the shipment wouldn't be enough to fill all the back orders. He was basically telling me that anyone in the US that ordered form the UK store really ordered from the US store (they would hand off the transaction to US). I should have hung up and called back when he said that because that is a lie.
Bottom line I don't know what the call really accomplished except that this guy was trying to scam me. I am inclined to believe the 300 back orders because of the demand for the phone. Take it with a grain of salt though.
I thought it was slightly strange that with all the demand for the silver one they had 100+ listed this morning. I'm going to call them and see if they actually have some in stock or if they are just lying.

No else to ask! Help! Advices and Strategy to fight USPS!

I've sent my Nexus 4 to my friend in the other state from New York on Jan 14th and paid $15. The estimated delivery date was Jan 16. I was kinda surprised because it usually took a week before. Only This year i've sent 2 packages and maybe 10 packages last year no problems what so ever with USPS! Always asked for delivery confirmation which BTW i don't know but it worked just like any other tracking system with some delays of course... but only had maybe once or two where it didn't update but at end it would still give a full detailed report on parcel journey! The bad is that i kinda skipped the insurance but then again i've never used an insurance. UPS(not USPS) once damaged something but i didn't complain they delivered it!
As you can see the package never made it to sorting facility. USPS so called investigator for the second day comes with ridiculous excuse that his computer doesn't work. I've made maybe 100 calls sent a couple of mails. No respond.
At this point i already accepted my loss i just want them to admit and write me a letter or apology where they admit that their services did not do a job which they provide! And they refuse to give that sort of statement... can you imagine that?
I suspect that it's been stolen from the truck while mailman went for another load. Because i've seen him once taking the big cart full of packages going outside to load them in the truck then leaving the truck unattended and heading back inside for another load.

That sucks, I hate USPS. I had a package say it was delivered with delivery confirmation, but I didn't actually get it until a few days later...

Well OP, I guess you have learned your lesson about insurance. You would sooner find a dog that can do algebra than get a written apology from USPS. You're either less than 25 years old or VERY naive. No offense.
Estalling your the best brother
I know this is a last ditch hope but I've had package (actually a HTC Inspire I bought) disappear for 17 days one time. Then just after I gave up it just showed up and I looked at the tracking and there was a 17 day gap between the sorting facility and my local post office. Hope it works out for u and listen to estalling I insure anything over $100 its actually not very expensive.

Costco Sprint Pre-Order

I just noticed that the expected processing date is May 3rd. Does anyone have prior experience with Costco pre-ordering? Any chance for an early shipment?
When is Best Buy expected to ship?

All these best buy,Costco will always delay...obviously the carries are the first to get stock and ship.

Lets hope some retail stores actually get the S4 on Saturday. Since this announcement my confidence of walking into a store on sat and buying a S4 has been taken down a peg.
Full disclosure: I "pre-ordered" at a sprint store in Chicago.
Costco Shipping Update
I just updated my shipping address and credit card info with Costco. I switched to American Express to get extra year's warranty in addition to the $99 one is my understanding. But more importantly while on the phone the very nice young lady I asked if she had any updated shipping information.
She asked me for which phone and I told her the Black S4. She said the earliest processing would be May 3rd and that shipping would be on May 6th. Now I can set my expectations appropriately.
Black S4 Is Not Available
I just looking on the website and it looks like the Black S4 is no longer available for order.
White Frost is now sold out also.
I ordered last Thursday night but still no change in order status.
I was told mine would be processed April 30th and arrive may 2nd

I hope this is the case. I sent an email yesterday seeing if I could get some kind of verification for when the orders will be processed. I got nothing. I have considered cancelling and seeing if I can get telesales to give me a better price. I'm sure I would no issue getting sprint to waive the $36 activation fee regardless of where I ordered. I've never had any trouble in the past.
But today is the 30th and haven't heard anything from costco....fingers crossed.

I called them yesterday after not receiving any replies to various emails and the girl that answered me seemed very disinterested in answering any of my questions. I got the cookie cutter answer of "it's being processed the 3rd or before" which is basically a screw you nothing's getting done until the 3rd and not shipping until the 6th at the minimum. I'm kinda regretting buying through Costco and it's probably the last time I order from them as well.

I'm with you. I work in the service industry and if we treated our customers like with the same sort of disinterest, we'd get our asses handed to us.
Here is their response to an inquiry I made to costco asking about availability and my response back. I don't think it's too much to ask of them to keep us in the loop on when the s4 will be available for shipping:

Is it possible to let me know if "the device has launched" to costco? "On or before 5/3" states that it is possible that the device could possibly "lauch" to costco and be available to ship prior to 5/3. I guess we are the only few that got suckered by Costco... the silent uninformed wait is dreadful.
I am very surprised by all of this. Costco typically prides itself on strong customer service. I realize that this is being handled by a third party (contracted out by Costco), but Costco still is involved with this as it has their brand name on it.
I feel pretty lame too. I thought I was one of the "lucky" ones to get an order in before they sold out and now I realize that maybe I wasn't so lucky after all.
I don't mind waiting a week at all...
The accessories were free. (While not the best and the screen protector looks like you have to trim it yourself)
And they didn't charge pre-discount tax.
So instead of paying $320 after tax, we paid $228. Saving $100 for 1 week of waiting? Yes. I will do that.

i couldn't get free activation from customer service, so tack on another $36 I'll be saving.
Came out to $209 instead of $316
I probably won't use the accessories either, except that 3-in-1 charger if it's >1.5 Amps. so that's a $10 bonus.

I am with T-Mobile, recently i bought ATT note 3 and I was able to unlock it using one of the web service, it takes about 4 days but when the code arrived it works fie, no issue so far.
Not 100% positive about the roll here, is it OK to post the website name??
I've tried any I could find that guaranteed 24 hour or less unlocks and started buying codes on the 30th or 31st.
Accidentally deleted a response about samsung adding new security features that are taking longer than expected and trash is set to auto delete but I still have this response.
