Hey guys,
i have got problems with the Call Sensor lately.
When i try to call someone the display suddenly goes black and i have no option to reenable it.
Is there any solution to this kind of problem?
I have the latest CM10.1 build installed
Thx in advance
Maybe you can found more info in CM Thread.
However, probably, is an issue of your version of CM...

Have you tried to flash another ROM to see you still have problem?
ok, will try.
Have you installed any battery saving apps, that might be the problem?
No, but as i guess , the problem connected with apps which want to connect to internet, because I turn off internet connection on my phone..
i have other problem with mic, when someone call me their hear me after 2-3 seconds. As I found out, this problem is very spread, but no solution is suggested.
Haven't u updated to 2.3.6? It may solve your voice issues.
Can you figure out apps running in the background that make screen turn on/off?
I installed 2.3.7, but no change, Yes I found that app- it is compass.
Check the settings of that compass whether screen is on/off? Are you using stock or CM ROM? Check also the display settings.

Try lowering your display brightness...that worked for me.
I use CM 7.2, and uninstall that app and everything with display is ok, but mic problem still there is.
Hey guys,
I have the following problem with my 4x. The screen stays on during Viber calls. It's as if the proximity sensor does not work, but it works just fine during regular calls. The only way to turn the screen off is with the power button. The issue is the same on stock LG rom and several versions of CM. 10.1. Is there a know fix for this issue?
Thanks in advance!

I can't find such an option anywhere in Viber. I am running the latest version (3.1.1).
Same problem here. There is no configuration in the menu for this.

Hello.. Im using Miui 4.1.24 on my Htc One. But the problem is every screen off app, which uses proximity sensor, causing unusual restarting the phone in spite of shutting the screen off only. But my proximity sensor is ok. I tested it with testing app as well in sense 4.4 Rom. Plus during calls, it also somehow works ok.
Can anyone gimme a guideline how to solve this?? Rebooting, reinstalling the Rom - these things I already did many times.
Thanks..

what about asking in Miui thread, maybe its a known issue on this rom? Maybe you are using bad app? Are those app you are talking about works fine in sense rom?
Hi,
Screen doesn't turn off while calling via Viber
Do you think that viber have a bad proximity sensor support?
I installed a Phone Tester from market and it always text "Far" even i put my finger on sensor.
But with normal calling it turn screen off and i think there's no hardware issiue.
Kernel issue with default lg kernel, Rudjgaard fixed it, iodak implemented it in his kernel, i suggest you install version 9.95

They didn't help anything )
It seems that this issue can vary on a case-by-case basis. We hope that the next release will resolve this for everyone.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

I have a problem with microphone - often (higher possibility on longer calls) - my microphone just shuts off and a person on the other side of the line can't hear me all of a sudden in the middle od a call.
Some users claim (also the repair guy for LG) that Viber and Skype can cause this issue.
Also , i found a topic on this issue on XDA forum.
They just repaired my phone - they changed the motherboard, but the mic problem persists, so I uninstalled Viber and now I'm testing the phone.
Is Viber team familiar with such problems, is there any fix for it?

i also encountered this issue, but if i recall correctly, it was only on stock rom. (you can "fix" the issue during the call by switching to speaker then back to normal).
a more permanent solution is to switch to a custom rom. i haven't had such issues on any kitkat rom, and i use viber extensively.

Sent from my LG-P880 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
After installing 'xposed installer' I'm facing a problem as when there is an incoming call it sticks to the back of lock screen( Pattern). I have to draw the pattern to see who is calling,to attend the call and to do further options.
Moreover if i attended the call,I'm not able to hear the other persons sound who is on the other end of the phone. For this i have to restart the phone. For sometime it will be fine and after sometime it is the same(cant hear the other side).
I'm using Galaxy Grand 2 (Kitkat 4.4.2) and on stock ROM.
Can anyone please help me to rectify that?
Please do help me. Thanks in advance. :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
