In need of a extended battery cover - Galaxy Note II Accessories

I bought Anker 6200mAh Extended Battery after reading the reviews someone made on here. When I got the battery I put the cover on it and one of the pieces snapped off. So It doesn't stay on. I emailed the company, they told me to send it back for a refund. It would have cost me more to send it back than it actually cost. So I said screw it.
I might going to be going on a long trip pretty soon and would like to use the extended battery but need a new back cover. Does anyone know where to buy JUST the cover for cheap? Or does anyone have an extra they'd be willing to sell cheap? Please let me know. Thanks.

supposedly otterbox cases are big enough to use in place of a battery cover for extended batteries.
some people have been using then with zero lemon batteries.

Just to be clear. The Otterbox Defender can be used BUT it needs to be cut to fit any extended batteries.
Do a search for Hyperion Battery Cover on Amazon for the Note 2 if an extended battery cover is all you need.

some people use the seidio active extended case with that anker battery.

Hey, what happened to our plan about dissing Mugen? lol!!!
Here is what I would recommend, for $8+ shipped you get a new battery cover (looks like NFC is in the picture, or you can re-use yours if its not included), and you also get extended battery with it as well - http://www.ebay.com/itm/B171-NEW-65..._Cell_Phone_PDA_Batteries&hash=item27cbe1492c I can't voucher for ebay batteries, they all crap and this could be only 4500 mAh or maybe 6000 mAh, but either way you get a new battery door replacement and a bonus battery for $8. Then, for $5 get this TPU case with a kickstand for your extended battery/cover: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Black-S...t=US_Cell_Phone_PDA_Cases&hash=item416ee5228d - yes, its a copy of Hyperion TPU case but for $5 who cares. So, for under $14 shipped you get a battery cover (with or without NFC, not sure), a battery (although could be questionable capacity), and TPU case with a kickstand (kickstand could be on a flimsy side, but you will get a good tpu grip and some drop protection for your phone).

How about asking Anker to sell you just a battery cover? Usually these companies are good and will most likely ship you one for little to no fee. Try their CS again maybe you just did not get the right person.

I could be wrong, but I was under impression they are discontinuing their 6200 mAh battery. But either way, you got 18-months warranty. Not sure how it works with warranty in this case since you didn't receive it broken and it wasn't a defect covered under warranty, but you can always ask them and even offer to buy it. Even if part is discontinued, under warranty they will keep spare parts for at least a year to cover any claims in that period of time. My experience of dealing with Anker was very positive.

I have an unused anker battery cover since I'm using the defender mod. Not sure how to get it to you though.

See there is a flaw with this especially for Sprint Users. I had also contacted them and I had even shown some pictures to them to prove to the fact that there are flaws with that battery.
One of the latches however does not connect fully. And to be honest the better life wasn't that great which is sad seeing how all my other Anker batteries were much better. The problem with Sprint is that we don't have the sim card so the geometry of the inside or architecture is a little different compared to Verizon, AT&T and T Mobile. If you had noticed the battery doesn't sit flush like it should if you check on Amazon you will have noticed my review that has mentioned that as well as somebody else. But I think it's funny that they told you you have to ship it I bought it off of Amazon and went through the customer service and was able to get it replaced free of charge which basically meant that they sent me another battery and back cover. I had taken pictures of that one as well, simple because I had the same issue and they actually refunded it. And I forgot to mention that I didn't buy the extended battery at first I had bought the original 3100 OEM. I told him I had a battery problem with the 3100 and had asked him to replace it with the 6200 cause it had cost the same at the time.

Does anyone know if the other companys that make the same size battery, if their back cover might fit? Thanks for all the replies.

Case for Inc w/ extnded batt

Anyone know if there's a carrying case similar to the snap in case (like for the original Droid & X) that will accommodate an extended battery? I've hunted VZW's site & e-bay but haven't found any except the pouch style.

Which battery are you using? I am using the Verizon Extended Battery and I bought this case (P/N VZW6300HOC) Won't let me post links yet. I used tin snips to cut out around the extended cover.
It's a Verizon extended battery, I got it & the back with my inc when they sent it as a replacement for my P. O. S. Devour.

Not sure if its the same size but Sedio makes an extended case for the 3500mah. They don't sell it without the battery on their site, but if you email them asking about it they will offer the back piece standalone
The 3500 is thicker. Even if it fits, you're gaining the extra thickness of the 3500 case so you may as well get the 3500 battery, too.

Are you talking about the actual back cover to the battery, or an actual protective case that fits "over" the back cover?
Just went into my local Best Buy today. What did they just in..........Seidio Innocase II! $25. And to make life even better......1750mah battery! $40. The packaging says Platinum products something, but when you look on the bottom it says Seidio.
Getting the case was a no brainer. I had their cheap Rocketfish hard case and it's falling apart after a month and a half. The battery I'm still unsure about since some people say it makes a huge difference, some say it is no improvement. But thats for another thread

Seidio Extended Battery Cover

Anyone know where I can purchase just the extended battery cover for the Seidio 3500 extended battery? I already have the battery itself, but the cover had a bit of a mishap. Here's a pic of the cover I'm looking for: http://bit.ly/Nq4ZTK I was hoping to find someplace that sells that particular cover alone.
wow, really, nobody??
Hey. I found one on eBay. I can't post link as I don't have enough post yet but if you search eBay for seidio battery door and use the price+shipping lowest sort option it like the 4th one. It's $19 and free shipping... A little expensive, but better than $50 for both the battery and door. Hope this helps!
Now I have enough posts to post a link! Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-innocel..._Accessories&hash=item3cbe5670b6#ht_500wt_923

You can get one plus the battery from all4cellular. Google it. its only like eight bucks. I did but then instead of using the3500 i put the original 1300
And a 1900 in the back when the first one starts dieing i just swap them out. You can get over 2 days with heavy use. The 3500 would never last that long. Sorry but they won't let me post a link.

Trying to look for a decent extended battery

Just wondering if anyone bought one of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/1X-Gold-420...880538?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item416dcac91a or bought a simular battery with higher mah then the stock but keeps the phone the same size. Not looking to put on one of those crazy hulking back covers.
Thanks in advance
Personally had issues with batteries from china/hong kong, also they have been know to lie about size of memory on memory cards and basically just labeling over stock batteries with fake labels. If you were wanting an extend battery I would suggest getting one from a reputable company such as mugen or another name brand company. I highly doubt a battery less than $20 will be any better than the oem. If there were a way for samsung to get a larger mah battery in that size they would have. I think your best bet is either getting another oem battery or purchasing an extended battery with the larger housing. IMO
Mugen is definitely the best battery wise, so if u can find a good case with or without wearing the back cover then I'd go with that if that's in your price range
How about a 2nd OEM battery to swap.

This is what I recommend.
I posted here showing a picture of the Onite extended battery I have and had someone comment on it showing that is wasn't fully snapped on to the back cover, well it was. The picture of the Mugen extended case, as provided in the same thread, has the official picture of the GNote2 with the extended case on it and it blatantly shows it not connect. Check out the thread.
I had great success with anker batteries on my note 1. Lasted as long or longer as the stock battery. Still being used by my son after 10 months of use and getting same duration out of them. Just got the qcell 3800mah extended battery for my wife's skyrocket and she has gone over 2 days on it now. Not sure about the lifespan yet as she has only had it for 2 weeks.

I used the 50% off code listed in the accessories forum to get a battery directly from Samsung for $25. Well spent for piece of mind and two batteries is likely more than I will ever need. Carry one as a spare and rotate them every few days or so.
Not sure of the code is still good.

That's a lie, I've had this battery in my n85, it was worse than the original, and was to be much better.
I have had great experiences with Hyperion and Qcell batteries. My mom is using my old GS3 and she says that the Qcell extended battery is still lasting her 2 days. There is no way that Mugen is 4 times better than either of those batteries. It does have NFC though. When my gs3 was new, no extended batteries had nfc, but they eventually added it. My guess is, in a month or two, Qcell will add nfc to their case. So if you buy one now and one when they add nfc you will have 2 extended batteries for half the cost of the Mugen. As soon as Hyperion comes out with a case for the extended battery, I am going to buy theirs.

True, i forgot abou that. Charger and battery for the sameprice of just the battery.
Also any battery that claims to have much more capacity (3800mAh - 4200mAh or more) in a standard size batter is BS. Everyone dreams of that mythical 5000mAh standard size battery, but it doesn't exist.
Unless I'm going camping for more than 3 days I can't see needing my standard battery with a standard spare.
I got this one from Amazon, And I've been super stoked!
(sorry, I'm too new, it stripped my URL)
The brand is Onite, and it was $24.98
it's a 6500 mAh battery, and cover. I've been wailing on wifi and wireless data all day while streaming pandora Non-Stop to my bluetooth beats, and at 10:42 PM, I still have 48% left.
This is the first phone I've had that I can talk with customers all day, and not have to put it back on the charger once.
A full day with heavy usage, and battery to spare at bedtime? Winner in my book!

Agreed.
I am sending them this little note, in case they are willing to consider adding NFC in their battery as an option:
Greetings,
Xda developer Note II forums have mentioned that you are currently developing a Galaxy Note II super capacity battery.
I understand that due to the extreme size of the lithium ion battery, the NFC contacts are no longer exposed, thus NFC cannot be implemented in the battery back cover, as the Samsung and other third parties are currently doing.
I am currently using the Mugen extended battery, that does use NFC in the back cover, and use NFC for google wallet daily.
Although this is none of my business per se, and your product will be very successful, the lack of NFC will deter some users (including the writer of this brief note) from purchasing.
May I offer the suggestion of implementing the NFC back on the battery itself?
Since your battery will effectively sit on top of the NFC contacts, you could wrap around the battery the NFC contacts and implement the NFC on the battery’s back.
This after all is the way NFC is handled on the Samsung GSIII and Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
I understand that this would increase your production costs, so perhaps you could offer two models of the battery, tacking on the extra cost to the customers that would be willing to pay for this. I for one would be more than happy to, and I am sure that you will see the sentiment reflected in the online communities by others too.
I had one of their batteries for my s3. It was amazing. 3 days easy without charging and 10+ hours screen on. This one not having nfc sucks though.

Theoretically, if they don't do it themselves, we could add the nfc as a DIY.
Ebay sells the nfc adhesive strip, which you could attach to the back of the battery, and use contact copper strips to make the connection with the phone work again. I might actually experiment with that once they ship.

That was my plan also. I just got a cheapo flip cover I'm willing to hack for this mod. But now I just gotta wait 17 days.
5mins later...
The suspense is killing me!
My buddy has the one for the GS3 and while it is bigger the fit and finish can't be beat. It almost looks like they took three batteries and wired them together.
I'm willing to bet that this is going to be a great buy. If i didn't have the Anker and get great battery life already I'd be snapping this up!

OEM batt cover

i need to ppick up a new oem batt cover for a note 2 from t mobile in titanium grey. can any one suggest a good, reliable, not too expensive source? i've looked ono amazon but i think most are cheap plastic knock offs and i dont want any reception issues. i need it asap thanks guys.
oh a local guy has one but wants $35 i think thats a bit much??
Amazon is probably your best alternative source. The cheap plastic is fine for radio reception since plastic does not interfere with radio reception The issue with the cheapy covers, it may not include the NFC chip/receiver that the OEM has. The NFC antenna is not in the phone or battery, but on the cover for the GN2.
If you don't use NFC, then it's not an issue.
