So, I am a black one owner and I was showing off my baby at lunch to a buddy. As I was showing it off I grabbed a napkin and folded it into a nice little resting pad so i wasn't setting it in the hard table. My buddy laughed at me and proceeded to tell me I treat my phone's better than my wife and kids. I laughed and thought it was funny, but then I thought about it and wasn't sure wether it was funny or not.

Ever since getting the iPhone 3G I would put the phone face down on tables. How often do tables have sand or other particles that can actually scratch the gorilla glass?...
Answer?.. I've never had a phone get a scratched screen. Even those without a screen protector. I do have a Zagg on my one right now though. But I don't do cases.

Well as I was petting my Guinea pig I notice that he squeals. I checked his head to see if there was something wrong and he had a hole in his head. I kept looking at it and don't know what to do. My guinea pig is a few months old. Maybe a year. Well I'll try to provide pictures.

Make sure the vet you go-to has experience with "exotics" (meaning any animal that is NOT a dog or cat) all small animals (like your guinea pig) are considered exotic pets.
It will mean the difference between a wasted visit and actual treatment.

Hard to see from that picture but I would guess it's some kind of cellulitis or infection. Is it draining at all? If I'm right shouldn't be a big deal as long as it's treated. However, I only work on people, I'm no vet. Well, not a veterinarian that is...

Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
I have to agree with the other guys.
If you're concerned about passwords and not wanting other people to peak or to spy on you while you're doing stuff, you should have either gone for a smaller sized screen or simply do not perform tasks that are data sensitive. I am experienced when it comes to security, believe me privacy screen or not, if a person with certain skills such as identity theft they just need to memorise finger stroke positioning. I taught myself how to be able to read text being typed by a person on a laptop facing them at a side angle. Granted not everyone can do this. Whar I am saying it's not impossible.

Some people want privacy, period. If you don't care, then fine.
Some people just don't want the people next to them being able to see what they are doing.
It doesn't have to be text, it could easily be pictures.
It could be as simple as wanting to look at pictures of your kids on the subway without worrying that some pervert next to you can watch and see where they live. Or wanting to log onto facebook, and go through a gallery without the person sitting next to you asking, 'hey, who is that?'
If I could get a case that had privacy protection, I could easily see using it every now and then.
I'm not going to apply a screen protector that I can't easily remove, however - that's overkill.

It's a woman thing. Mostly dropped in the toilet because they can't stay off the damn thing from what I've seen. I'm surprised Sprint still offers my ex-wife insurance because her and my daughter are constantly breaking their phones. Same thing with my girlfriend. I thought maybe if I got her a new phone she would take care of it. When her line was eligible for an upgrade they had a deal on the Galaxy Nexus where it was pretty much free. So I got her that. Good thing I got insurance too lol.

Should have got Best Buy Protection plan, 2 dollars cheaper then sprint, and zero deductable. Works with all spills/breaks/cracks. Maybe next time?
Sounds like my daughter, she had my evo 3d in her back pocket, sat on and bent it. It still works tho... Kinda.

Maybe it's your wife's way of telling you what she thinks of your hand me downs?

She wasn't getting my hand me downs till she used her upgrade to get a phone then broke it and didn't have insurance on it, so I used my upgrade to replace that phone, then by the time her upgrade came I used it, then gave her my phone because she lost hers, and that's pretty much how it goes now.
So instead of paying the deductible she gets my phone when she loses hers or she is tired of fighting with a phone that's not working right because of her dropping it or getting water damage.

I had the same issue with my wife with all the phones I pass on to her. I finally introduced her to an Otterbox Defender. I haven't had a problem since.

thats what im thinking, i started just getting the wife and daughter new phones and they havent broke them.................yet.
It's not about getting a used phone. I bought wifey the note 2 at full price. Broken. Paid deductible got replacement. Broken. Still had the first phone so between the two I fixed one and sent in broke parts. Wait for it..... Broke that one too.
