Hello
Anyone had problems with Google maps location history after unlocking the phone or any other procedures? In my case after I unlocked the phone, installed the recovery and then rooted the phone, I don't get any location history. The Rom is the stock one. Any suggestions for this?
Thanks.

Hi all,
After having flashed an unlocked stock rom 2.3.6 (S5570XWKTZ_S5570XWKT9_S5570OXFKT5_RST_HOME.tar.md5), I managed to sucessfully unlock a galaxy mini S5570 using THIS tutorial.
With stock, I couldn´t connect my google account, it kekt saying wrong password, even though i know for sure its correct. No google play, no calendar, no google apps since they all require a connected account.
After that i tried Void Rom Ultimate Edition, and i´m pretty happy with it, but hte problem remains, I can´t connect my google account. I can create a new one, but can´t connect mine afterwards.
I have wifi and data working, internet is fine, APN settings seem to be working, so i´m at a blank.
I´m from Portugal, could this have something to do with with the stock rom, wich was from norway if im not mistaken? I couldn´t find a Portuguese one... I had hoped flashing CWM and a CM 7.2 would do the trick but it didn´t help...
Am i missing some sort of Gapps package?
Any help will be aprecciated.
I just bought Lenovo K3 Note.
1. In Contacts I have People with their names and phone numbers. When I recieve income call - the name of a person from Contacts is not shown on a screen but only its number. If someone can help me how can I resolve this?
2. In weather widget there is not possible to add other cities than those pre added with Chinese letters!?
Thanks for help.
Hi guys,
I got a situation. I just bought the lenovo K3 note from a guy and noticed he already installed SU, so I thought it's already rooted. Then I went to recovery mode and accidently deleted the OS without any backup recovery. Now i dont know what to do. The phone wont start since there is no OS installed. Any idea how i can install any rom on it.
Can somebody help me with that

ok, so im on MM B361, rooted, in the UK.
when i try to install a theme i get a prompt "your phone has been rooted. continuing to use Huawei ID may pose security risks".
so i press continue and when i try to login ...it says
"due to service location restrictions, the system is unable to provide services to you"... (this never happened on any previous firmware i've used)
is this because im rooted, or located in the UK? any workaround to install themes from the Huawei Theme App?
i get the same message and i am not rooted. fully stock. but in the uk and on b361. i would like to know if anyone else gets that and what the solution is.
I think it's region related.
I'm living in Portugal and same message when trying to login in Huawei ID service. I also tried creating an account from phone directly to see if it works and didn't even received the "confirmation email", so it might be some issue with the server as well.
I'm not rooted.
i am in the uk and just created a new account. it works but not really worth it . no real significance
I am on CRR-L09C432B361 and living in Dhaka, Bangladesh and I am having the same problem after upgrading to 361.
any idea how to fix this?
Hey,
I bought a Nokia 7 Plus TA-1062 from China. After it arrived I installed the global android version using the instructions provider here. I then side loaded a 8.1.0 version with Security path from 1st of August. The phone is functioning fine in terms of ability to browse web/take calls/use camera/etc. - HOWEVER - during any of these updates I wasn't able to use any of Google's services (Play Store/Cloud login/Updates). It's just stuck on 'Checking info...' and sometimes notifies it wasn't able to connect.
When I look at the Google Play Services logs (using the *#*#426#*#* code) I see that the connection is failing constantly. I've tried reseting the cache/data of all related apps and the phone itself without help.
Anyone knows how to solve this? Why are the Google Play Services not working?

I am also the Chinese version of Nokia 7plus, also found this problem, the message can not be pushed!
flashing gapps would solve the problem if you have a recovery installed, but since we cannot unlock our bootloader, you're ****ed

Thanks for replying - I'm new to all this and would like to learn more -
1. What does it mean to have "recovery installed"? I'm able to enter the recovery console on boot via the power button+up volume key trick (that's how I sideloaded the 8.1 version), I'm guessing that's not it?
2. What does it mean to unlock the bootloader? how do you know if your bootloader is locked or not?
3. and probably most important - how do you flash gapps?? That's something that I'd like to try, maybe my phone is already unlocked by some sheer luck (doubt it since it came in a sealed box)

Hi,
I recently upgraded to Android 8 on my Huawei P9 EVA-AL00 phone. But since then Google map location history is off and i can't turn it on. Done several methods but no luck. Finally discovered that there is a system app AutoNavi Location Services that controls the location reporting of the device and it can't be uninstall without rooting. Tried rooting app Kingroot but failed.
Is there any solution for this?
And what's the way to rebrand my Chinese version rom to International version?
Pls help.
Thanks.

Rooting of EMUI 5 (Android N) and EMUI 8 (Android O) is much more serious than King(o)Roots
You need Bootloader code to unlock Bootliader, and then you must flash patched Ramdisk to be able to root with Magisk
You may try (no guarantee, didn't use it) the followimg - but you will definitely need to enable ADB debugging (don't know if Bootloader must be unlocked for the method)
