have you tried Wiping Cache and Dalvik cache from the Recovery after installing the ROM (or firmware)... if the problem still persists then a simple but COMPLETE Factory Reset should fix your problem....
For now, this is all I can think of now

I guess so..... Try it with some other firmware then.... and its funny how it only works on JetMOD... that's based on the European firmware, so you could try that too
And by the way, you didn't mention whether you did a Factory Reset after installing your ROM

Immediate Help plz - Phone in bootloop :(

Hi Guys,
Really struck in big muddle. Need help. I due to some stupid mistakes have ended up in bootloop on my Note. I was earlier having Rocket Rom v22 and then yesterday directly flashed the Rocket Rom ICS Beta V1.4. The rom was giving me FC everywhere. I had cleared and wiped and followed everything to the dot but missed one step. I haven't first flashed with the leaked chinese ICS rom repacked by Chainfire so was struck with all sorts of force closes on dialer. And cannot even update to v1.5 to fix everything.
Now i guess another mistake i have done was going ahead and flashed the stock rom by Odin PC.

As the title says i am trying to Downgrade from Cyannogenmod 10.2 to official 4.1. I heard some bulls**t about IMEI and other complications. So can you help me downgrade in a non-harmful way?

For me best way was to have 4.1 stock based ROM nandroid backup. Problem is that maybe there was leftover from GAPPS that make problems with setup wizard or something like that.
Download CoCore 8.2, some 4.1 stock based ROM, copy it to sd. Go to CWM, flash CoCore - reboot to recovery again - do factory reset, wipe system, wipe cache, dalvik. Install ROM and see what happends. I did not have any IMEI problem when I was doing that.

How to downgrade from KitKat to jelly bean 4.1.2 through recovery
You can only flash custom ROMs based on touchwiz ROMs through recovery like sweetrom or aryamod .... or use Odin to flash original Samsung firmware because you can't use recovery to flash original firmware.
Press thanks if I helped you.

Downgrading to JB is as easy as booting into recovery, wiping data, booting into download mode and flashing the stock rom
or booting into recovery and flash a custom TW rom or restore the backup if you made any before flashing Omni.
I have a non-rooted phone upgraded with what Samsung provided (several OTA, then Kies to 4.1.2, N7000XXLTC).
I'd like to downgrade to stock 4.0.4. My steps are:
1. wipe cache & data from Recovery (would a Factory Reset do both?);
2. use Odin to flash the ROM;
3. never do any sort of wipe again.
Is that correct?

same thing for me,
but I have a issue here. I had made a backup of my 4.1.2 rom in cwm, and flashed a 4.4.3 omnibus rom,, after flashing omni I have twrp recovery rather cwm recovery , so I am unable to restore cwm backup
do I need to flash cwm again ,?
or any other ways
omni rom draining battery very fast, and it made a dead battery
thanks

Yes you will need to get CWM.. flash raw or philz kernel and then reboot recovery, wipe and restore the backup.
Let me share my own experience
Whenever i wanna go back to jellybean from kitkat :
1. Do clean wipe
2. Flashing official gingerbread rom
3. And then installing jellybean..
I dont know why but whenever flashing jellybean after do a clean wipe it never works so what i do is flashing gingerbread first hehe

I'm on 4.4.4 DU Rom.. The phone got hanged after I enabled the allow mock location option. Then the phone got stuck at the Samsung Logo screen. I went to recovery and tried doing factory reset, but it failed with error as unable to mount /data. After that recovery mode is not available, but I can go in Download mode. So, i tried to install JB 4.1.2 - N7000XXLTA via Odin. But the process gets failed after 'NAND write start'!!!
Any solution???

First upgrade your device to Gingerbread using Odin, follow this guide
hubix's guide
Then root your device and install CWM (custom recovery) in order to flash custom roms, doing backups, flash mods ... here you'll find all
Usefull Thread with lots of info and FAQ
Finally choose the rom you want and follow the dev's instructions to flash the selected rom

The latest fw it's from Vietnam?? umm
There's no problem, but I suggest you to flash an European fw in order to avoid signal/coverage troubles because of each fw includes a modem from a different area. For me the Spanish KTM is the best

Here is the link on how to install stock rom using odin along with all firmwares and drivers (check the "Preparations" section),
Flash stock rom on Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 using odin
You can find all the necessary details for flashing as well as all the firmwares in this link. If your PC cannot recognize the phone, its usually the drivers. Once installed, go to recovery mode and do a wipe data/ factory reset & wipe cache (otherwise bootloop might occur). Then restart. Now you have successfully flashed the stock rom. Here is the link for rooting and installing CWM 5 on Samsung Galaxy Ace (just install these zip from the recovery mode),
How To Root and Unroot Samsung Galaxy Ace?
CWM 5.0.2.6 fix for Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830
You can use the single firmware installation. No need to download files like boot, pda, etc separately. Also you can download the firmware near to your region. Hope I Helped

Before you do any of these things, make sure to backup you apps. Go to CWM and do "Wipe data/ factory reset" and "Wipe Cache partition". Also go to Mount and Storage> Format /system. Finally Advanced> "Wipe Dalvik Cache" and "Wipe Battery Stat". Now reinstall the rom again. It might solve the issue. As for the stable custom rom, you can always go with CM 7 i.e. Android 2.3.7 based roms. CM 7 based roms are much stable than CM 9, CM 10 and CM 11 roms. As per xda rules, I cannot suggest you the best rom. But here is list of all roms for our Ace. You can flash this yourself to decide which is the best. Here is the link,

after flasing a stock rom via Odin, do wipe factory/reset and wipe cache in order to avoid the bootloop, but with CM10.x ROMS NEVER DO WIPES (data factory/reset) OR YOU'LL BREAK THE BOOT!!
To fix it do all the wipes and reflash the CM10.x rom following dev's thread

[i9000] CM11 (4.4.4) Baseband Unknown, Wi-Fi Grayed out, No sim service

Hey guys, seems that the latest builds of CM11 (4.4.4) have the same problems on my phone.
Country: Romania (Europe)
- I have an i9000 with CWM Recovery 6.0.4.7
- I'm trying to flash CM11 4.4.4 (last i tried: cm-11-20140729-NIGHTLY-galaxysmtd) from CM11 4.4.2 (cm-11-2014-02-28--NIGHTLY-galaxysmtd -> XXJVU)
- I did WipeData/FactoryReset, Wipe Cache, Wipe DalvikCache and Format /System, after that I flashed "cm-11-20140729-NIGHTLY-galaxysmtd" (CM11-4.4.4), and flashed GAPPS for 4.4.2 (i tried with 4.4.3 too), and reboot (i get no errors)
- The ROM boots up and everything seems to be okay besides the fact that i have no sim service (no signal bars, or pin code pop-up checker at startup), at "About Phone" i get "Baseband version Unknown", Wi-Fi is grayed and it's freezed ("Turning Wi-Fi on..." forever), Bluetooth it's not grayed out, but once i enable it, the "on" button goes gray and it does nothing, also when i go to "About Phone" -> "Status", the Settings app crashes.
I tried to flash a stock radio/modem (XXJVT, XXJVU) in hope that would fix the problem but no change.
I tried to do another wipedata/factoryreset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik after installing the rom and gapps and cleared the data and cache for "Settings" app and others but still with no succes in fixing something.
I tried the M8 build and other close nightlies, all seem to have the same problem.
If i flash my old rom back, everything is working perfect.
HELP! Any solutions to this?
Thank you guys in advance!
I had the same problem yesterday. Try to re-install the ROM. If it still doesn't work then flash a stock ROM (JW4) with Odin and then install 4.4.4 again. The last one worked for me.

After you flashed the stock firmware (JW4 aka GingerBread 2.3.6) what and how did you flash a recovery that is able to install CM11 4.4.4 Roms?
EDIT (FIXED IT):
This solved the issues that i talked about in the main post
I was on CM11 4.4.2, entered recovery and did full wipe
- I flashed stock firmware for i9000 Sweden (JW4 Gingerbread 2.3.6) via Odin
- I flashed root for it wich included a cwm recovery 3.0.0.x
- Entered the recovery which the root installed and did a full wipe
- Flashed directly "cm-11-20140729-NIGHTLY-galaxysmtd", after which the phone rebooted in a different cwm recovery (6.0.5.0) and installed the rom and rebooted again
- After reboot, the phone booted directly in the new cwm recovery 6.0.5.0, and i did a full wipe
- Flashed again "cm-11-20140729-NIGHTLY-galaxysmtd" and "gapps-kk-20140606" and now the rom (cm11 4.4.4) works perfect with no more problems
Thanks to kalpetros that initiated me in solving my problem with his solving solution (http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=5359865)

CM10.2 contains such recovery. On your place I would flash stock JVU to get for sure last Gingerbread bootloader (JWx don't contain it). As your system and data partitions have been resized you MUST flash together with firmware also the PIT file 512 and enable repartition in Odin, use version 1.82 or 1.83 for that and run it as administrator.
Safer way for not to loose IMEI anymore is to upgrade stepwise (GB,ICS,JB,KK) so first CM9, then CM10.2, then CM11

I didn't lost the imei (or so i think). I just had no service, no enabled sim. (no "imei lost" warning messages)
