The only bugs are two. The thing about the APN. That's all? Only configuration the APN. Its not big deal.
Blackhole? What about this bug?
The GPS works?
Thanks to the dev for the Paranoid Android.

So other than cellular data, everything works? Camera/camcorder/GPSwork, there is no lag, etc?
Thanks
Same bugs as all 4.2.2 ROMs. Data doesn't work I'm always on WiFi though so it doesn't matter to me. WiFi has always worked for me. No gps. Halo is pretty frickin awesome though!! Been using this to for a few weeks and it's great. Also if your try to install a app from SD halo can't been on screen. Weird bug but just remove halo from screen install whatever app from SD then enable halo again and it works. Battery life for me is fine I play music at work on my phone all day and battery lasts basically all day. Thanks for the great port!!! No lag for me. Also grab the halo app from the market

Initial WiFi bug...
Tried to sign in but it failed... Had to switch to one with no protection.
After getting past the first setup, WiFi works normally.
Settings bug...
If you go to change quick settings, and pull them down after changing it, when you press the back button, settings will crash.
ROM overall is pretty smooth, no lag... Only gripe would be the lack of baked in file manager.
Paranoid settings is just like the one from the PAC port...
Also, the boot static is back... (Yay!)
Oh, and for me, it doesn't seem like it wants to read my SD card... Had to remove it and put it back in... Not fun with an otter box...

So here's the problem.
Jones invested $18,000 in two accounts. One account pays 6% simple interest and the other pays 8% interest. Her total interest for the year was 1290. how much did she have in each account?
I know the answer because i looked for a solution and here it is.
6% account has x dollars 8% account has 18000-x dollars Interest = Principle * Rate * Time Interest from 6% account = x(0.06)(1) = 0.06x Interest from 8% account = (18000 -x)(0.08)(1) = 0.08(18000 - x) Total interest: 0.06x + 0.08(18000 - x) = 1290 0.06x + 1440 - 0.08x = 1290 -1440 -1440 -0.02x = -150 x = 7500 6% account has 7500 which earns 450 interest 8% account has 18000-7500 or 10500 dollars which earns 840 interest checks out to give a total of 1290 interest.
What i need to know is why was the 8% used to multiply on (18,000-x) instead of 6%?
I think the equation should read:
0.06x + 0.08y = $1290
Since the two variable represent different accounts. In this equation x would equal the amount in the account receiving 6% interest and y would equal the amount in the account receiving 8% interest. You substitute "18000 - x" because that is what y equals:
y= 18000 - x
So using substitution the equation would be:
0.06x - 0.08(18000 - x) = 1290
Now you only have 1 variable and it makes it much easier to solve the problem.
My real question is why was the 8% used to multiply with the 18,000 instead of the 6%?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
You could have had it set up this way:
X=18000-y
You could have multiplied that by the 6%, but as you would work it out you'd have to get rid if the negatives at the end.
The equation would be:
.06(18000-y)-.08y=1290

This would give me a different answer.
$7500 in the 6% account would earn you $450
$10500 in the 8% account would earn you $840
The question could read: what is the bank account that would give you 6% interest 1.6 yeah!

That depends on who you talk to, as some areas of the world consider 1000 millions to be 1 billion in which case it would be 31 finally equating to
1,073,741,824
But if you go for a million millions = 1 billion it would be 41 with a final of
1,099,511,627,776
I feel sick and my brain hurts.

Everything working in the XT925 version? I can't live without halo
@Black_halo
I couldn't test anything service/bluetooth related, but for the most part, it's working for me.
Compared to the other 4.4 Roms (CM/Gummy/PSX) it's a little "under-featured" as it's essentially AOSP+Halo/Immersive/QSEdit.
Home button works so I'll be playing around with it. Anything else, I'll just use xposed modules for other things...

Are you spending too much time downloading ROM's, and not enough keeping fit?
Generally, a lower heart rate at rest implies more efficient heart function and better cardiovascular fitness.
To measure your heart rate, simply check your pulse. Place your index and third fingers on your neck to the side of your windpipe. To check your pulse at your wrist, place two fingers between the bone and the tendon over your radial artery — which is located on the thumb side of your wrist.
When you feel your pulse, count the number of beats in 15 seconds. Multiply this number by 4 to calculate your beats per minute.
Use this chart to see what your RHR should be for someone your age:

According to Runtastic (Why waste time counting it yourself when both your Note 3 and S5 can count your heartbeats? ) 67 beats per minute, which is fine for a 23 year old woman whose only excersize is running after public transport whilst lugging about a 25kg backpack.
Nobody so far in danger of prematurely popping their clogs, so to speak! That's good to know. No athletes either though!
By the way, Pro Cyclist Miguel Indurain, who won five consecutive Tours De France had a RHR of 28BPM!

You've got a big heart!
I get 70 a minute, average for my age. Honestly I was expecting worse lol. Outside of work I don't really move around a whole lot, besides walking to and from the store which is only like 2 miles. Work on the other hand lol.. If I average just 1 mph that's 10 miles a day, 4 days a week.

Hi guys,
I hope this forum still has some activity and someone can help me with the issue.
My old mom is using this phone, but original Google's "Phone" app (dealer or how it calls?) is definitely not good for the old people, especially with latest "improvements"
I want to install another phone dealer, something like phone dealer from my Samsung Galaxy S9: on incoming call it should bring a full screen form, with big, visible buttons and clear call details (picture etc.)
Aby recommendations?

The phone app is also referred to as a "dialer
You could look for an alternative dialer on the play store.
You might be able to sideload the samsung dialer. You can try looking on apkmirrior.com for it. You may have to move it to the system partition, which requires root. You also will have to set it as the default app for "phone". This setting is usually found in settings -> system -> apps.
You could also use an app like Tasker to create a "scene" that would display, or audibly announce the caller. There is a forum here on XDA for Tasker if you need help.
