it is lacking absolutely nothing. I was just wondering if it was possible. I have been switching around with different roms on my I9000 and I just had a thought about IOS. But I'll just stick to the android roms.
Thanks for you help!
It is not possible, you have linux kernel and you don't have the iOS code. but you can use Linux on your android device.
Currently I am working on an iOS 7 ROM with @aways but we have problem
WiFi isn't working can you help me please

Its possible. With lots of work. It has same processer and everything as iPhone 4 you would need the unbrickable mod to install iOS boot loaders and everything. And iOS is not open source. So while in therory its doable I don't think anybody would put the time into it. Besides android is way better
Sent from my SGH-T959 using xda app-developers app
Porting IOS is a piece of cake.(you just code some compatible drivers , match resolutions and youre done)
But the real problem is, its not an opensource.
its not about how u re able to port or develop it, if u wanna use iOS, buy iphone! here, we discuss how to improve ANDROID, not 'da so lame n greedy' iOS

Hey guys, there's no need to belittle the guy for releasing his first ROM, looking stock or not, he put hours of effort into this and the best thing would be for us to support him in his project like we do every other quality ROM cooker, because even people like Som started out smalltime. So lay off the guy, jeez.
To the OP: Good job on your first Rom and Good luck in your future builds, and pay no attention to the immatures on the site, they do not represent the actual quality members of this site.
Just flashed this to check it out as i love einherjar stuff. Very responsive and nice overall function! Nice work fellas! I do wish you guys would use IRC though!!! im always in your chan and no one is ever there Sadpanda!

This is a clockwork flashable rom, Odin not needed. You do not need to disable voodoo, and comes pre-rooted.

if you already are experienced in programming, coding a own app is pretty easy. Just watch a short video on youtube, read a tutorial and than start programming(learning by doing)
If you are not, well then it is more difficult :-D

I believe Pacman ROM simply has features from all of them. AOKP and CM aren't so different, I'm not so sure about PA. But basically, you'd get a bit more features.
I've seen it on the S3 side but the Dev would have to port it to the cappy (or have someone do it for him)
yes your right but I've tried the PACmon ROM on my Sony Ericsson x10 and it is AMAZING! all the features of CM & AOKP with the amaaazing hybrid engine of Paranoid Android , it truly is amaaazing. Can someone port this for our amazing cappy?! I'd be sooo thankful.

No. You need it's maker's permission. It's his own work after all.
If you ask him, there's a chance he will either have someone port it or will do it himself. But we can't just still his work.
of course how didn't i think of that! indeed you're right! can you link me to the owner like a email or something I'll ask him myself

That would have taken extensive coding, reworking of the whole framework and the system as well as a hell of a lot of rearranging. Even then, essential features such as video recording, the microphone and the vibrator still don't work.
However, no reason why it should be a dead end. The devs on that project showed that a semi-functional SII ICS port was possible. Just that its incredibly hard to do.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda premium
Hey, guys! I'm making this thread because I will continue to port roms, but only if it is requested. As you can see I've been on a porting spree but now I want you guys to let me know what rom to port (if any). My ports are solely made to provide the experience of a rom until the owner/dev team of that rom officially supports us. All requests that I post will now be permitted by the owner/s. If I am not allowed, i will let you know here.
So if there is a rom you would like ported, leave a comment and I (and perhaps xcoNjA) will do my best to bring it for you. Thanks guys - Michael
****The rom needs to have the same resolution as the S4 and also an arm7 processor...might be able to do it with an arm6 but yeah (so basically, any rom that works on a different S4 I can almost guarantee it can be ported****

Just ran it... I installed it and restored apn's and its good to go. I flashed ktoonsez new TW kernel with it. Man this rom flies.
Edit: One thing though, you lose lte with a reboot and cant get it back until you on a Sprint rom and update prl and profile.

Thanks again for all the ports. I think I'm less interested in new ports and more interested in the stability of the ones we already have, And don't get me wrong. They're running great already. At this point, if we're able to get 3g and 4g, along with mms working like a stock rom, then I will definitely use them as daily drivers.
Thanks again for bringing some fun to the Sprint forum in the last week.

Josh will never let that one fly.
I know this is asking a TON, but Firefox OS would be absolutely awesome to try on this phone. Mozilla has some documentation on how to build it, but I am not advanced enough quite yet.
Not really expecting data to work, of course. Just a proof of concept and actually trying it on phone software would be awesome.
Then again, I could be completely off base and it could be impossible to flash like you would an android ROM. Who knows.
