haven't got one myself yet
Red, white and green are all available on ebay. I have been thinking about ordering a red one. What I would really like is for someone to make a replacement cover out of metal (assuming it would not kill the reception.)
+1 for a metal cover. Real carbon fiber would be the shiz! Then I would buy one for sure

Like I said, when you call with the part number, they can give you a price.
Well The Package Said $24.99
But I Guess It Was On Sale? $19.99
And Then I Had A Work Discount $14.99
I just picked mine up today from my local corporate store, they had the red and white doors in stock. You just half to ask for them as they are not on the sales floor. It was on sale for 19.99 for me as well. I posted a couple pictures for anyone who wants a good look at it.
I'll see mine for $10, was used once with a case lol, I use a case so I find no use for it anymore, I as well paid around $20 and have receit I believe it was direct order from verizon.
I just ordered the red and white... You may have to call customer service a couple times to get someone who can actually find it in the system...
It looks good, I just would like to have a full color all the way around instead of half and half. But to each their own.
I buy it for

I wasn't able to find this one on the vz site...do you have a picture of it?
I know VZ has a black/red SPECK one and the regular high gloss red one and also a black one (that's the one I have), but those are all cases and not battery covers.
Thanks.
EDIT: I thought it was a red/white combo not the 2 separate...sorry. lol.
loose doors?
Does anyone who has these back doors(I have a while one) use them with the stock battery or with an upgraded 1500mah battery? I ask my original has always creaks and cracks when held or pushed in the wrong spot and it's happened on all refurbs that I've had for various reasons, and these doors weight just hair lighter than the OEM black door and it makes mine even worse, it fixes it with some cardboard back there, but does anyone else have any insight or experience with this issue?
I can't vouch for the battery covers I had a TP1 and TP2 by htc aswell as a HTC Touch back in the day, but the tp1 did the creaking noise after the case started getting really worn, but it seems since the tp2 days it's happened to every htc phone I have had my hands on... I usually just stick a couple layers of padding in there like you did with the cardboard but I usually used electrical tape and applied multiple layers where necessary to the actual battery cover.

Hello all, I am looking for a battery cover and a battery for the nexus one. I have the phone but no battery or battery cover. Anyone know where I can find them to buy?
I had a good experience buying the battery cover on amazon.com for about $ 25.00 USD. It came with both the battery door and the bottom section that covers the antennae. I have also bought batteries from both ebay and amazon. The ones from amazon were 1300 Mah and the one from ebay was the original 1400 Mah

Why buy?
I'm pretty sure that HTC will send you a replacement for the backcover if you say you broke it or lost it, they did the same thing for me for the Nexus One Pouch. All you need is the IMEI number and an e-mail, along with your address. If you tell them the battery life suddenly died and won't hold a charge anymore I'm sure they will send you that as well. It should all be under warranty, as the phone has not been out for a year yet.

I am actually in the market for a new bottom section as well as the battery back, and I was wondering if you could please share the link where you found yours. Thanks!
Just
got off the phone with HTC and they are replacing my battery, However they refuse to replace a lost or stolen battery cover!
Lower back cover: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-battery-Doo...AU_MobilePhoneAccessories&hash=item27b7fa97e9 $10

Hope this helps
I went on amazon and found an extended battery for the lg thrill...its made by Hyperion and its a 3500 mah. I love this battery...I've had it on for 12 hours and have 63% left and that was using the phone a lot. I advise everyone who has a thrill to pick one up its only 17.99 and it cone with a back cover. The back cover isn't cheesy its the same rubbery material as the stock back cover. Only problem is it does add decent bulk to the phone but its well worth it....Idk about you guys but I'm tired of charging my phone 3 times a day.

Hey hegemytouch,
How's that battery holding up? I'm thinking about getting one, but I've heard stories that they only have the long charge for a little while and quickly lose capacity over a few charges (probably bc they've been sitting in a warehouse for a long time and just lost their capacity from that). I want to get an idea of how the Hyperion battery holds up. Thanks for the update.
The battery was pretty decent. The first charge you have to charge it for 12 hours...that lasted forever LOL..the battery life did.drop a little couple of charges in but still was worth it. Lasted all day with heavy use.

I ordered the 3500 mAh battery recently. I cannot wait until I receive it. My biggest gripe about this phone has been its battery life, but now that won't be an issue. Thanks for the excellent post.
Now I made this order fairly late and overlooked the fact that the battery is thicker than stock. Does the new battery come with a new back plate, or will I have to order that separately? Also are there some good protective cases for this phone available when using the thicker battery? I know my current one will no longer suffice.

Most of them come with the backplate.
I haven't found any aftermarket cases that fit with the extended battery. If you do let us know!

I have the 3500 mah good long lasting battery but it adds too much bulk, it's a brick
I went back to stock battery
Sent from my LG-P925 using XDA
It certainly does turn it into a brick, but for me the additional battery life makes it all worth it. I emailed Hyperion asking if there is a case for it. I am awaiting a response.

I have thought about getting an extended battery but like other people have said I dont think I would how bulky it makes it. If someone does make a case for it I will definitely try it. I get decent battery life right now. I am a heavy user of my phone and it will last me all day and night with no issues.
I have received my 3500mAh battery with a case to fit around the battery and I must say that it's NOT as bulky as people make it seem to be.

Do you mean the backplate to the phone or a protective case for the phone? If you found a protective case for the phone when using this battery please send me a link. I really need one since I have had my drops over the years with my phones, and I don't want to crack the screen. There's too much work involved in replacing them.

Hi, thanks for the info. A little more detail regarding the Mugen extended battery for the T-Mobile Galaxy Note. 1.Is the NFC antennae in the door? (and working?) 2.Does the door fit securely? 3.Mugen only offers battery door in black color--Our Tmbo phones are navy blue, does the door match?
Thanks in advance, appreciate you taking the time!

Re color, I haven't carefully looked at the battery cases in the light to see a difference but it looks like it matches the T-Note to me. For me the only part of the note that 'has' color is the battery cover so by replacing it entirely with the Mugen battery cover I don't notice a mismatch. Also cannot see a difference between the bezel color and the mugen case cover (except for gloss).
Re nfc the antennas are there. I haven't tested it yet.
Re fit, one of the clips on my back cover is broken, so mine does not fit perfectly there (upper right corner over volume rocker when looking at the back of the phone). All other clips snap into place perfectly so I think a new/unbroken cover would work perectly.

I bought that same case on Amazon. It works on the extended battery I have, although my battery back is different than the Mugen (forgive me I don't know how to post a link but here is the info if anyone wants to search on Amazon):
Brand New 5200mAh Extended Battery+Dark Blue NFC Back Cover Door For att Samsung i717 Galaxy Note LTE by BestMatchSold by RKWireless and Fulfilled by Amazon.
I like the case you inquired about however the power button is very difficult to press. That's my only complaint, however I have not found any other case options for Notes w/ extended batteries!
FYI for anyone interested, I am pleased with my off brand battery. I originally wanted the Mugen because of their reputation and the flat back w/stand however Mugen could not tell me if the NFC on their door worked w my Tmobile Note. I didn't want to risk it for almost $100. The off brand battery was $20bucks (even cheaper now) and so far is great. Gives me twice the usage. Beware though as the NFC on my phone doesn't work though and am now waiting for a replcmt door from Rkwireless.

nfc works on my mugen 5400mah extended battery. I love this battery! I went camping this weeknd. Watched a full movie with full brightness, took over 50 pictures, used to it text, call, check email, check facebook and used it as a flashlight at night. I unplugged it at 4pm friday and only needed to plug it back in at 930am sunday (today). It was down to 9% at that point. thats 41.5hrs on a single charge. thank you mugen!
*mine came with a mugen pouch too. did anyone else get that? I hadn't heard of anyone else getting a pouch/case with the battery until i got mine. I ordered the hyperion case but they sent me the wrong one, but the pouch works until amazon can send me the right case.
thanks for the info that the NFC works on the Mugen, good to know! Update: I received the newbattery back from RKwireless for my off brand extended battery but the NFC still doesn't work with that one either.
Almost 11 hrs screen time with screen on FULL BRIGHTNESS.love the mugen battery

How are the mugen extended batteries doing? Any other good options? I would like to use one for when I go out of town for business. I typically have to leave early in the morning and then return home later in the evening. I have trouble staying in one place long enough to charge my phone, and I keep forgetting the second battery I bought. It would be nice to snap the extended battery on the night before, charge it, and then not worry if I have enough juice to get back home without carrying extra wires, batteries etc. I could get an external 10,000mah battery, but trying to travel light. I already left behind a charger in the TSA security area. When I realized it and returned it was gone (of course).
I ended up just buying an Anker Astro e3 with 10,000mah of power for when I need to bring it. It's working great so far. Nice to know I can fully charge my phone four times with it if I'm on the standard battery.
http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/1623949263/Battery_case_for_lg_g2_Extended.html
I have no idea if it would even be a battery case, but it looks good. Or it could be absolutely fake
It does appear to be pretty thick in the backāit's hard to tell because there's no angled view.
The minimum order is 50 units, so we'll have to wait for a reseller to pick these up before we can order one.
If they turn out to be even half-way decent quality, provide at least 1500mAh (no way it would actually be the 3500 claimed, or anywhere near it), and come in under $50 retail, I'll be all over it.
I'd be all over it if it isn't much thicker than my spigen case and if it's black colored
Sent from my LG-D802 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Agreed. It just looks too good to be true, since the only other battery case I have found covers the back buttons....and still might be a ripoff
