How to disable the power saver off in notification bar? Permanently preferred. That one is really annoying.
Thank you
If you long press it after dragging down notification bar, then click on 'App Info'.
Then click force stop it and it should disappear from notification menu. But I think when you reboot phone it will appear again unfortunately

Yes, I used this method, but the problem is it will appear once again when the battery is low no matter whether you reboot or not.

If you're rooted, you can use the JMZ Power Saver remover app from the Play store.
If you're unrooted, the Force Closed method is your only option at this time.
I read this was fixed with the latest 4.2.2 ROMs...

Just wait for the 4.2.2 update or flash a 4.2.2 rom.

I already root my device, and used a custom ROM. I will wait for 4.2.2. Thanks folks.

yea 4.2.2 solves this issue but since it just came out none of the custom roms have any of their mods and changes incorporated so like most people i'm probably going to wait until i can flash all my stuff over.

Widget torch stops working after using camera with flash. To make it work again you need to either delete "broken" shortcut from main screen and established new one or reset your phone pushing poweroff button for about 8 seconds. Is there any improvement for this soft or you have other solutions?

My phone has:
Android 4,0,4
N7000XXLRB
3.0.15-N7000XXLRI-CL811902
IMM76D.XXLRI
4.04 has a reputation for breaking or deleting shortcuts. I'd say it's a rom problem.

It especially had problems with non stock launcher.
You can download teslacoil's app

You could try another flashlight app. A good one I've tried before is TeslaLED, has more functionalities than the stock one and I noticed it worked when the stock one didn't (like with some custom kernels/ROMs).
Mine does the same thing 4.0.4 LRT, stock kernel, rooted.

I know that but stock flashlight is very covinient for me - especially with three levels of brightness. Still I think I will live with that until another update.
Question about the lack of menu button.
So before buying the phone I I check into it and found out it used the 3dots and not a menu button like other androids.
Also found the back button long press as menu hack.
I have that install but I am still having problems and got questions.
First what do you do when the app your on doesn't have the 3dots?
Xda app doesn't have it to make a new thread. Also found a few of my older apps don't have it either.
Next the problem.
80% of the time when I press and hold the back button it just goes back. Or it will go back and then open the 3dot menu.
Is there any way to fix this or map the menu to long press home?

You can use Elemental X kernal and have the HTC logo as a menu button that's what I use and it works a treat. Are you on a custom OS as if you are you may have flashed something with the 3dot away mod explaining why you never see it?

Stock rooted tmobile Rom.
Xposed mod for back button.
And I don't truly like custom kernels. Had problems in the pass and had to update them weekly

That kernal is stable and doesn't require updating every week so it's a good option for you
+1 for elemental X. It's great. What about if you download pie control from the play store and set a menu control that way? I used to use the back button method but find it doesn't work half of the time. HTC logo2menu from custom kernels work 100%
Sent from my HTC One using xda premium
If you prefer to avoid custom kernel, then use a Rom based on 4.2.2 as these allow long press home to be enabled for menu
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
Thanx for the information.
I'll try the pie control for now. And look into the 4.2 Roma and kernel.
I'm so dumb. If you use the hack it hides the menu. Never knew that since I rooted and install the Xposed hack hrs after having the phone.

Is there any mod available to remove 3 dot menu and assign it to some button? I tried looking in forum but didnt found anything.
Sent from my HTC One using xda premium
install a custom 4.2.2 sense rom or a kernel with those options
Actually dont want to install any rom.... Just looking for a mod, if there is, any....
Sent from my HTC One using xda premium
are you on 4.2
Xposed mod will give you long press back for menu and hide the 3 dot menu.
But I must say it doesn't work all the time.
Then there is logo2menu hack but you need a custom kernel.
Also try pie control from the market. Then you can swipe the side of the screen for the menu. Use pie control with the Xposed hack.

if it is for stock ROM i will ask why you would need to do that?
I have the same question, is a bit tricky to press home and power button to take a Screenshot everytime, and im om Stockrom becuase i like it =P
i have a rooted SIII Mini, there is a way to add the Screenshot menu ?
Yes it is possible but no one's gonna bother with that cause most of us are using Vanilla version of Android.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sitesearch.php?q=how to add screenshot to power menu 4.1.2
just used the search and this is what i found
i can help you to do it, but i won't be adding this feature to any of my work
It is hard to make flashable zip or addon to our device specially all stock rom base?,i think it is a good feature.

Hy everyone! I am very satisfied with my phone but I have one small problem.. When I download a new app the phone, or I am in the process of installing, the phone get very laggy for a couple of seconds and the apps on my home screen reload. They disappear and reappear in a second or two. Why is that happening? Also when I go into apps or widgets it gets a bit laggish when scrolling around.. Is that normaln for a stock ROM? I`m on stock JB,rooted.. And I did a factory reset after update to JB and manually installed all the apps..

Rolling back is not an option.. Do you have a ROM or kernel to recommend?
It's normal; the homescreen is just refreshing so it displays the shortcut for the app. (it auto-places one on install)
And about the lag, download "Advanced Task Killer" and kill the apps/processes, or use the stock one. ("Task Manager")

The task manager won't get you anywhere. Android handles processes not like crappy windows and the task manager thing is unnecessary as hell. Search for it.
For the rom/ kernel thing try it out yourself . There are many good and stable ROMs on here.
