Yessiree indeed. I unlocked on HTCdev this morning, running CWM now. Use the Bell/Raider version here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1343625

You just need to bring up cmd prompt and navigate to the folder where you extracted the zip and run the command from there.
ahhh ok ill try that
thanx
grrrrr still cant get it but i guess ill keep trying
i have it on my c drive in a folder call android ...

Haven't tried a nandroid yet. Will try it shortly though.
See my post above. You don't need anything with adb. Open cmd prompt and navigate to the folder where you extracted the zip and run the command from there.

yeah, works fine through command prompt... in my desire to get CWM and Nandroid, I didn't realize that the instructions were less than clear on that step... should have remembered.
To Confirm... Nandroid works... though it did hang for a bit, it did finally wake up and complete.

When you extracted it puts it in a folder called fastboot or something like that. I just took all of the files out of that folder and put them in the main folder I was using or you can just navigate to that specific folder. I hope that made sense. I'm fairly certain that is your problem.

Not in its full capacity, but I just use it as a way to get to recovery mode quickly and easily while not on my computer anyway.
Unable to flash root_recovery.img
I was able to root my HTC Raider using the HTC Super tool. However, I am unable to flash the root_recovery.img in order to have CWM. Every time I try to flash it, I get the following error"
unknown partition 'root_recovery.img'
error: cannot determine image filename for 'root_recovery.img'
Any help would be appreciated.
Like an idiot i flash a mod for a de-odexed ROM to my stock ROM UK Three M7. So stuck at the boot screen.
The problem is i cant seem to do anything about it. I have no back up (I know !!!), no ROM file on the device to flash and i cant seem to push anything to it.
ADB just says no device found even though it was working ok. Can anyone help? Ive tried it on multiple PCs.
AW: Did i brick it already?
Go to recovery Mount your memory to pc. Copy a Rom. After that flash Boot img via fastboot and then Rom from recovery.

Did you tried with ruu?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
As understand it if you have an S-ON device(i do) you have to use the right onee or it will fail. Its Three branded unit,so i need a three RUU. There isnt one out there.
RUUs only work if adb can see detect it
Have you tried going through fastboot? Just fastboot some boot.img to get it to boot, then put a ROM on your sdcard
It sees it now. I can get into recovery (CWM) and fastboot, but i have nothing to flash on the phone, i cant get anything onto the phone to flash! I try ADB sideload, it gets to100% but it says..
E: Can't open /tmp/update.zip
(bad)
I tried pushing to the SD card but the recovery then doesn't see the ZIP, its just not there.
/sdcard wont mount in CWM, nothing happens.
I tried a boot.img from the Maximus thread.
Ok its now accepted the sideload! Ive installed the ROM and its rebooted...

Yeah there is no toggle in CWM and the stock recovery I reflashed was only a test build, and didnt actually do anything.
Well its now working again fine. I dont really know why it worked, but it did. It was suggested i try the Aroma file manager first, which sideloaded OK and let me browse the file system. I then re-downloaded the ROM I was trying to use (Maximus) and tried that. It worked with no errors, although the Aroma installer crashed the first time through, which I understand isnt unusual on the One.
Seems i didnt need to access the SDcard at all, it was just a problem with sideloading. It may have been a corrupt ROM download.
Needless to say i now have a CWM backup, Titanium backup and a ROM file on the SDcard just in case.
You cant mount USB storage in recovery on the HTC One, you can only use ADB Sideload to send the ROM if your stuck in a bootloop or if youve erased the system partition:
I have uploaded the latest binaries to my dev host account.
1. Download and extract these to a directory and copy the rom over into the same directory.
2. Boot up your phone into twrp recovery or a recovery that supports ADB Sideload.
3. Select advanced and adbsideload (Your phone will be waiting for the file transfer.)
4. Open command prompt in the above directory you created with the binaries and rom.
5. Issue command "adb devices" (You should get the serial number with sideload next to it)
6. Finally issue command "adb sideload rom.zip" (rom.zip will be the name of your rom)
This will start sending your rom to the handset and will automatically install.
Hope the above helps

That's what I was doing, it simply wasn't working. It might have been a corrupt ROM download.

Could very well be. Happens more often than you would think
But the mass storage thing is strange....I've seen it on almost all recoveries, but i know TWRP no longer has it in their newer builds, maybe the same thing happened with CWM?

Without OTG Cable
Boot TWRP, then select “Mount”, then select only “Data” and connect your HTC One to your computer.
Considering you have adb.exe (Windows, part of fastboot.zip) or on Linux:
cd Downloads\ROM.zip
adb push ROM.zip /sdcard/
Replace ROM.zip with the ROM filename you copied earlier to Downloads (or any other) folder, then install the ROM.
It should be nearly same running CWM recovery. Hope that helps.

I have a UK Vodafone HTC One. It's running the Trickdrpid Rom with TWRP 2.5.0.0 recovery. Everything was working fine until I flashed tbaldens kernel to enable lock2wake function. Is there any way to get another Rom on the storage to reflash, or is it bricked? Please help.
There is an option in TWRP to sideload with adb. Try pushing a new Rom with the ADB Push romname.zip
Then you should be able to locate it and flash it

Thanks for the quick reply. Is there a tutorial on ADB anywhere? I've not had experience using it before.
http://developer.android.com/tools/help/adb.html
You will need to install Android SDK if you don't already have it installed.
If you are using windows open Command prompt and Change in to the android-sdk/platform-tools folder.
In here you can run the ADB devices command to see if your device is showing up as connected.
If so copy the rom in the the platform-tools folder to make it easier.
so lets say your rom is called rom.zip the command to push would be
adb push rom.zip /sdcard/ (OR WHAT EVER LOCATION YOU WANT)
If all goes well you should be select zip from storage in TWRP and flash it.
Hope this helps

Ok. I've managed to upload the Rom via sideload. But now I can't find it anywhere on the SD card?
Coincidentally i'm having the same issue when installing the same exact kernal (lock2wake) last night.
It soft bricked after it was flashed using the AndroidRevolution rom
No USB access despite popups and there are no roms installed on my SD.
I can access the bootloader and recovery (Clockwork) but thats about it.
I'll follow the instructions Gaz posted above and see where it takes me.
There should be an option to install from side load in your recovery.
If you can't find it I would recommend flashing CWM for the flash. You can do it via the fastboot method or the HTC one AIO toolkit. The toolkit option is the easiest.
Then when you are in CWM select install zip. There should be an option in there to install from ADB sideload.
Here you push the the Rom zip via the adb sideload Rom.zip and then it should install. Let me know how you guys get on
If you need anymore help feel free to PM me and I'll try to explain it more if needed

1. I (soft) bricked my phone flashing TeamSeven Sense "Home2Wake" kernel

2. My phone currently had the android revolution 12.0 rom installed

4. Once i had access to the bootloader, i navigated to recovery (CWM-Touch) but couldn't reflash my rom since i no longer had the zip file on my internal SD.
5. So I followed Gaz instructions posted above by installing the Android SDK files from http://developer.android.com/tools/help/adb.html
6. After I installed the SDK on my Bootcamp Windows 7 Home (on a Macbook), I copied my rom to the platform-tools folder and renamed it something shorter.
7. Then I opened command prompt and used it to pushed the rom file to the root of the internal sd (followed gaz instructions above)
8. Once completed, I re-opened recovery and reflashed. Fixed.
I just want my PC to recognize my phone.. Once that happens, i think I'll be in good business... The list of devices attached is none...
So I am going to go sell my HTC One and I wanted to remove the root and revert back to stock. Without thinking twice I deleted everything on the phone and all that remains is TWRP. I have downloaded the stock rom but where I am running into trouble is that my computer is detecting the HTC One as a CD drive. I have tried multiple different solutions that I have read online and cannot seem to fix it. I am just trying to put the stock zip file onto the phones internal memory. I am able to access recovery and twrp. I am just unable to figure out what I need to do to have my computer recognize my phone.

You need to use adb commands to push or sideload a rom while in twrp recovery.
Put the Rom file in your adb/fastboot folder and rename it rom.zip. Open your adb/fastboot command window.
Boot phone to twrp and connect usb.
In the command window type
Code:
adb push rom.zip /sdcard
The command window will appear unresponsive until the push completes (several minutes)
When it's done install the Rom with twrp recovery.
