[Q] How to enable S2W in stock ICS ?? - HTC Incredible S

In stock ICS ROM I feel, Battery life is much better than custom ROM. So I RUUed my phone. But missing some awsome feature like S2W.
So can any1 teach me How to enable S2W in stock ICS ??
and please I also want Battery with Percentage

You can't, it's only on rooted phones. If you want, flash stock rook with modified kernel and then install trickstermod to enable s2w
Click thanks if I helped you out!

You have to flash Poondogs kernel, than a su.binary for accessing root, reboot and download from play store "Trickster Mod" and there you can set sweep2wake on

The person you mention

(Q) kernel

Hi, i really confused about flashing kernel to OB v20b.....
Can i flash kernel from the othee version from v20s or 20o...
I want to use diana kernel or marvel kernel but it based on gb 234 v20o
Is it possible to flash these kernel.?
Please help, maybe someone can explain to me and i really appreciate it..::
I am just want to help my friend build his OB

This is exactly what I want to do. I mean flashing Diana kernel to V20b middle east stock rom. Of course we should somehow bring Zeus tweaks settings menu to this mixture
Come on Huexxx !
Why dont you just:
1. Backup your current ROM via recovery
2. Flash Diana kernel
3. push Zeus app on the phone, or install Zeus ROM, back it up with Titanium Backup, restore your backup, flash Diana Kernel, restore Zeus app and maybe you also will need some additional files from: /system/Zeus
If it works, cool, if not, unbrick it with smartflash tool and restore your backup and your back to normal within 10 minutes.

Even latest releases and corresponding middle eastern patch could not match great customization that LG have done to stock rom for this region.
I mean proper right to left menus, keyboard, dictionary, calendar & more. So if I somehow want to benefit from excellent custom rom like Zues, I have to use stock rom that comes with all that localizations and a custom Kernel like Diana.
Thanks

In nova kernel v11c my phone is getting dead for a sometime, I can't unlock the screen and even if someone calls me I'm unable to know about it but for the caller it'll be ringing. I need to remove the battery and switch mobile on... This repeates 2 to 3 times a day.

I don't know why you want to use stock 2.1 but doxianh made a module for overclocking -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=17101902&highlight=stock#post17101902, it's quite old as you can read in the intro that they are hoping for a custom kernel I suggest to install a custom rom instead of the overclock module
you cant add overclock settings but you can install overclock module and with an app like setcpu control it.
if you want to customise 2.1 try to install app2sd
Thank u guys

[Q] Flash only custom kernel

I have an Incredible S. I have flashed the official rom 4.0.4 with kernel version 3.0.16 g2271fd09. I was able to go over 1Ghz. Even though i think that 1Ghz CPU is more than enough on Android 4.0.4, it is very laggy and the situation is terrible. I need to go over 1Ghz like I did on other custom roms. I do not want to install a custom ROM because I do not know what they contain and I dont trust them. I just need to flash a custom kernel, and boot up the phone with the ability to go over 1Ghz (overclock). Any custom kernels (not ROMS) that you have tried and work with Android 4.0.4 ??

I am on S-ON, and the kernel version has not changed in the settings. I do not think I will need to S-OFF as I managed to take it up to 1.5Ghz with CM7. And the link you sent me says, that, that beastmode version is for HTC ONE X.

Semaphore kernel is compatible and fast
however, you have to play with the governors and scheduler to change speed without overclocking (also in stock kernel)
look your best configuration
Overclock
