Lost CWM Recovery !!! - Xperia Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey Everyone -
Few Days Ago after lots of research i finally updated my phone to .253 with all my data and root Retained and i used this method for it ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2279661 ) everything gone fine till i noticed that i lost my CWM Recovery which is not working anymore Can Somebuddy Tell me how to get it back ?
Before Updating to the .253 Firmware i was turning off my device and then after restart a green light was showing and by Tapping the volume up button i was able to enter to the Recovery ... but now when i turn off my device and restart i get a Red Light and then XPERIA Logo .
What is the best Solution for it to get back my CWM Recovery ?
Thanks in Advance For The Help

You have your answer, you flashed new rom (everything has been overwritten) so you have to re install the recovery. Logic.
To keep my recovery on unlocked bl device I exclude kernel when it has no change when flashing new rom.

[LT30p] [SOLVED] Boot loop after downgrading with flashtool

Unsatisfied by the JB update of my xperia T, I downloaded flashtool and the ftf file to revert to ICS.
Procedure apparently went good, but at the restart the phone is looping on boot: I see 'sony', then 'xperia', then the animation starts but after a little it restarts again and again.
Probably my fault was to leave the 'wipe data' option unchecked.
How can I fix? I can't unplug the battery so I'm not able to go to flash mode and try again...

Even my Xperia T is in booloop.... I flashed many times, many kernels but none are working. It shows Sony logo (not even showing
xperia). It stays the same in every rom. The phone was purchased from UK... Any help would be appreciated...

If you have not unlocked the bootloader then just repair the phone using pccompanion.
What exactly have you flashed? Have you rooted? have you unlocked the bootloader?

After the phone went into boot loop, i unlocked the bootloader. then i tried SE tool Emma to downgrade to ICS, tried your kernel as well as more 2-3 kernels in combinations but nothing worked. I used flash tool and flashed several ICS and JB ftfs custom as well as modded but none worked yet.... It's still the same, reboots after the logo... In older ICS, it reboots after Xperia screen while in other FW, it reboots just after the sony logo...
Is this enough information to figure out the problem? What is the right comibnation of kernel and FW to start this phone ? It was purchased in UK and came with ICS....It was upgraded to JB without any problem and one day it just went into boot loop surprisingly....
Thank you for your time...
Search for the relock bootloader ftf in the dev section.
Flash that in flashtool (not emma)
Then run the repair software un pccompanion

Did as you said. Flashed the relocked bootloader through flashtool (not emma)... Used the PC companion and did a "recover" procedure...At the end it said "Xperia T was updated with 9.1.A.1.140"
The problem is still the same. It restarts after the sony logo....
What is the next procedure to try ?
Thanks for the help...

That's is not good. After a pccompanion repair everything should be fine.

Flashed nothing... Before the problem....the phone was updated to JB..It worked for 2 months and then suddenly one day, it freezes, when restarted ,it went into boot loop. That's what bugging me. The flash mode works fine, the quickboot works fine..i can flash any files without any problem, but with any rom or default FW, it restarts after the logo, so i wanna know the possibilities of the problem...
Is there any way with which i can fully format the internal drive and then flash the FW ? Is there a possibly of corrupt internal drive ?
I have had the same Problem, even with repair function of PCC. Only thing working for me was flashing original JB tft with flash tool. After that it bootet up normaly and everything was working again. (Bootloop stayed with ics tft, only jb tft worked)
I flashed jb tft->bootloader relock->jb tft

[HELP] Bootloop (cant enter recovery / bootloader)

I really could use some help.
I have a unlocked bootloader and installed several roms / kernels in the past. But now I wanted to switch roms, deleted the old rom, updated a kernel (tought it was a rom) and now its loading in the rom (which I tought was deleted...), but hanging in the loading screen, it turn off and then repeats itself...
I cant seem to turn it off, or get it into a mode that I can use SUS...
Any idears?
Thnx in advance..
Edit: I was able to shut down the phone, but I can't use SuS cause I have unlocked bootloader I guess. Any other way to get any recovery working? Or to recover the phone?

Hold power and vol up for about 10 seconds. This will turn your phone off.
Then you can either flash a kernel or a ftf file via flashtool

There is a CWM flashable stock ROM available.
You should ask some people here how you can use fastboot to flash recovery to your phone (i am more or less a n00b, but did something similar to my xperia once). Ideally I would recommend TWRP, from within TWRP you can mount your phone as USB storage, copy the flash zip and flash it using TWRP.

Youve wiped your /system so your phone is blank.
Get flashtool and an FTF and revert to stock then root, recovery and flash custom rom again.

As soon as you wipe /system your phone is basically without recovery/OS so unrooted. While the recovery is active and in memory this is fine but if you reboot then you lose even that. Root is all about the OS which you dont have.
FTF files can be found in the android development forum.

If you have flashtool.. Download stock ftf from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2311964 and place it in Flashtools>firmware. Connect your device in flashmode( Volume Down and connect). Click on the Lighting Button> Flashmode and flash. [ BACKUP YOUR INTERNAL MEMORY AS IT GETS FORMATTED]
But note that you will lost Root Access. You have to root your Xperia SP again. And if you have unlocked bootloader then it will remain unlocked. No need to unlock again.

Forgot to mention to power off the device if stuck in bootloop.
Take off your back case. Take a pen, pencil or similar object. Hold the small yellow button at the bottom of the device with the nib of pen or the object you are having. Hold that button until the device vibrates thrice.
Thanks all for help and support it works fine now ;D but again i have to root my device. Maybe someone can tell me the fastest/easiest option to do this. I'd like to do this with locked bootloader. Last time I used V-Root. Any suggestions ?

Good to know that your device works fine.
But Remember You have to install CWM again as well as Root your device again.
This is the Kernel which install CWM as well as Root your Device.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292716
Just Flash the kernel using Flashtool in Fastboot mode.

With your phone off and unplugged, setup Flashtool to flash the FTF of your choice.
When you're ready, press and hold the volume up button, and then plug in the device.
The LED will flash red and green quickly. You are in Flashmode now. Flashtool should be working away. Leave it plugged in until prompted to restart (watch the log).

Thanks for reply, but I dont have any led light, thats my problem. When I want to do something, like get into Recovery, I restart my phone and I dont have any LED light, when I plugging in the device - same.
I have the same problem buddy but if you have a computer just install a recovery by downloading the file from NUTS web page (search for dual recovery for z1) and let the PC detect your device. In command prompt it will ask you to hit option 1 or 2 and it's pretty self explanatory. Don't worry about the Led, just flash the recovery using your computer.
