Hello everyone,
I have recently unlocked bootloader / rooted / S-OFF / superCID my Sprint HTC One..
But last night after I changed CID from SPCS_001 to 11111111 tried to install a ROM but it did not work (even an international/Sprint/stock one).
ROM was installing sometimes but no app seems to be installed on it (not even default ones) and was rebooting after a couple of seconds.
I have noticed after a while in bootloader that radio was missing and fasboot showing this:
c:\Android>fastboot getvar all
(bootloader) version: 0.5
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.44.0000
(bootloader) version-baseband: N/A ---- NO RADIO HERE ALSO
(bootloader) version-cpld: None
(bootloader) version-microp: None
(bootloader) version-main: 1.29.651.10

(bootloader) imei: 990001465683571
(bootloader) meid: 99000146568357
(bootloader) product: m7_wls
(bootloader) platform: HBOOT-8064
(bootloader) modelid: PN0720000
(bootloader) cidnum: SPCS_001
(bootloader) battery-status: good
(bootloader) battery-voltage: 3787mV
(bootloader) partition-layout: Generic
(bootloader) security: off
(bootloader) build-mode: SHIP
(bootloader) boot-mode: FASTBOOT
getvar:all FAILED (status read failed (Too many links))
finished. total time: 0.086s
I don't know if the reason is exactly that cid that now i set again to SPCS_001 , maybe was the S-OFF process revone
After that S-OFF I tried a sim-unlock folowing this:
adb shell dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p12 of=/sdcard/myhboot.img
adb pull /sdcard/myhboot.img backup/
adb push eng/enghboot.nb0 /sdcard/enghboot.nb0
adb shell dd if=/sdcard/enghboot.nb0 of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p12
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot oem readsimlocktype (WAS 0)
fastboot oem clearsimlockcode 2 (ALSO TRIED 0 ONCE but still did not work)
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash hboot backup/myhboot.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Is there any way to fix my noobie problem? A way to put back the radio if that is the problem?
Many thanks.

solved with RUU !
The problem was the eng hboot that you flashed. The ruu put back on a working hboot.

Hi guys,
Was doing an update to my HTC one and we had a power cut - Needless to say, I am in a pickle now.
I am just gonna go back to stock (CBA with the hassle) - That's if it's possible now of course.
What happens?
When I turn the phone on now, I just get the option for Fastboot-USB , Recovery etc - phone will not boot.
This is what my getvar returns.

Remove IMEI and s/n from your post!!
Are you locked or unlocked? And what exactly do you mean you were updating?
Anyway, to give you some insight to your options: Since you're S-On, you can only flash an ruu for your version (1.29.401.12) or higher, there's this one:
http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/ruu-zip...0-01_release_318486_signed_2_4_decrypted-zip/
this is an ruu.zip, so you flash this in ruu mode, in bootloader/FASTBOOT USB:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip ruu.zip
fastboot flash zip ruu.zip <- yes TWICE
fastboot reboot-bootloader

Please state exactly what is your problem and how you got in the predictament. Also, post a fastboot getvar all and remove the imei and serial number of your device. Your phone is probably different than the previous persons phone.

As for yours, your version-main is all messed up, probably caused by the riffbox, but there was no need to do that, the 155 error you got was just a bad download, try and download this ruu and run it, otherwise, get the firmware for it and flash that first, im basing this info on the radio (baseband) which matches this ruu.
you will need to change the CID to HTC__001 or add superCID to the android-info.txt file before running
http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/ruu_m7_...0-38r-1157-04l_release_353069_signed_2-1-exe/
Firmware only: http://d-h.st/XFf
How can I flash a ruu? I tryed this RUU_M7_UL_K44_SENSE55_MR_HTC_Europe_4.19.401.9_R_Radio_4A.23.3263.28_10.38r.1157.04L_release_353069_signed_2-1 but the setup loop at 5% verifying something. I relocked the bootloader and change cid to htc__001 and I update the firmware to 5.11.401.10

your s-off so no need to relock bootloader
you need to downgrade your hboot
see @nkk71 superguide for returning to stock on how to downgrade hboot and RUU > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2541082

I followed this guide in order to downgrade hboot http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2365506 .. Are you sure I have to downgrade with this old hboot? maybe can be other problems because is too old? so when i will flash hboot 1.44 I will try to flash the ruu I say to you?

Kindly, remove your SERIAL NO AND IMEI from above post. Always do that when posting fastboot getvar all.
because somebody can lock your phone using this information.
Regarding your query,
AFAIK, you need revone to get S-OFF on HBOOT 1.44, Rumrunner for 1.54, Moonshine for 1.55 and 1.56, and Sunshine for 1.57.
This thread will help you achieve S_OFF using revone.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2314582
or you can use this guide
http://www.htc1guru.com/guides/get-s-off/
Press thanks if it helped.

After you achieve S-OFF, simply use RUU matching your phone to get back to stock.

worked like a charm. beautifull
if it isn't too much of a trouble, what's the RUU that I should use? main-version still missing.
the cm12 is still giving me a trouble. If I learned something from the web, I have partition table problems.
I should relock the oem and then flash the RUU, correct? after that root again?

if you're s-off, you no longer need to relock in order for ruu flashing: Not so FAQ #2 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52135024&postcount=2
best to change your CID, for example:
Code:
fastboot oem writecid 11111111
fastboot reboot-bootloader
then you can flash any ruu you like
PS: version-main missing is due to a bug in 2.7 TWRP series, but hboot 1.44 would imply you're still on 1.xx firmware (very old)
PPS: cid is exactly 8 characters, no more, no less; SuperCID = 11111111 other international unbranded CIDs are:
Code:
HTC__001 --> HTC-WWE
HTC__016 --> VODA-Africa-South
HTC__032 --> HTC-EastEurope
HTC__102 --> HTC-GER
HTC__203 --> HTC-FRA
HTC__304 --> HTC-SPA
HTC__405 --> HTC-ITA
HTC__A07 --> HTC-Russia
HTC__E11 --> HTC-Dutch
HTC__J15 --> HTC-GCC
HTC__Y13 --> HTC-Norway
any idea why when I write cid 11111111 the command window and bootloader freezes?

cause you did some previous command? (like a getvar all)
unplug & replug the phone, then
Code:
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot oem writecid 11111111

If you weren't so far away I would buy you a beer
After changing the touch screen on my m7, the os (cm-12-20150117-UNOFFICIAL-m7.zip) stopped booting (black screen) and I was not able to access twpr anymore.
After flashing many twrp that never were able to pass 'entering recovery' screen, I found the only twrp that booted after flashing wich is twrp-2.6.3.3-m7.img. Anything above this version never worked; I'm still wondering why.
I am able to adb sideload from twrp on my osx (sierra) but after rebooting, the screen is stuck on the HTC logo.
When I hold Power + down Volume, I get these infos :
*** TAMPERED ***
*** UNLOCKED ***
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT-1.44 0000
RADIO-4A.14.3250.13
OpenDSP-v26. 120.274.0202
eMMC-boot
May 4 2013, 14:48:26:-1
I tried switching to S-OFF by doing : adb push ~/Download/revone /data/local/tmp/ , but I get "adb: error: connect failed: closed".
Same goes when doing adb shell.
My only goal right now, is to be able to boot an OS with the Play store.
Let me know if I can provide any other information.
Any help is very welcome.
I suggest you first get back to stock with ruu(search for old version with 1.44 hboot if you want S-OFF)

I tried going back to stock, but according to what I read, I need to S-OFF first before being able to back to stock.
I downloaded revone and tried to adb push it to my device in twrp (2.6.3.3), i keep getting :
adb push revone-0.2.1 /date/local/tmp
adb: error: connect failed: closed
same error goes to adb shell.
I might need a hand as I'm stuck. I might be missing something behind my nose.

False, you don't need S-OFF (unless you want to downgrade or use a RUU version no meant for your phone)
post your "fastboot getvar all"

You could restore the 1.29.661.5 nandroid and then take all ota updates, or update your firmware and flash the 4.19.661.8 ruu or 7.17.661.7 ruu. Note that flashing these RUU will update your hboot and make it harder to s-off. For example 7.17.661.7 is hboot 1.61 and only sunshine will s-off this version.
