in htc one's gallery you can have the pictures downloaded through Whatsapp, These pictures are being displayed as an event album but the sorting is ascending by date.
Do you have any idea how can i sorting the whatsapp album so that the newer pictures are shown on top?

I was trying to figure out same problem. I want the gallery to display pictures or videos in folder in the way I like by name, size etc....
I tried with deleting com.coolris.media and sorting the files in my pictures by name, but gallery still displaying pictures in an odd order..

Hi. I have a problem and was wondering if anyone else had encoutnered the same issue. Whenever I take more than one ZOE on a particular day - the 'event' that is created in the gallery duplicates the ZOE and some of the other photos. For example today I have taken 6 photos and two zoes. The 'event' has the highlight video at the top, then the two zoe's immediately underneath and then all the photos and ZOEs (again) in chronological order. Has anyone else experienced this? It only happens when more than one ZOE has been taken. its not much of a problem, but means on certain occassions the higlighht video is using the same picture/ZOE twice.When i try to delete one of teh ZOEs' both of them go. Confused!
Yes, I can confirm, same for me. It occurred within an event having a single zoe plus a few pictures too here. However seems to be working for picture-only event as you described.
Hey guys, just recent my htc one gallery is not showing any pictures at all. i have no idea why but i still have my pictures in my phone. i tried to use quickpic and none of my pictures were deleted.
I still can see the photo through gallery through the camera by pressing on the gallery there but not the gallery app.
Can anyone help me?

Clear gallery app data and cache. Check if that helps
Check for .nomedia files in the directory of the pictures and all parent directories.

There's no .nomedia file
currently i have facebook for htc sense , twitter for htc sense and flickr for htc disabled. does that affect the gallery in any case?
When you save pics from Facebook app , it gets saved to a folder Facebook .
But in HTC Gallery those pics are displayed in Camera Shots.
In other gallery app like Quickpic it shows it gets saved in Facebook folder.
So this is annoying because those unwanted facebook pics get synced with Google Photos(where i have enabled only the pics in Camera folder to get synced)
So is there any way that these pics are not displayed in Camera shots? Any fix?
I am on Sense 6 rom, viper Rom.

I just installed quick pic and want to replace sonys album app with it. The problem is that I can't open it from the camera, is there any workaround for that? I deinstalled the album app from sony and now the only thing I can do is leaving the cam app after taking a pic and go into quick pic manually to see the picture I took, which is very unhandy ...
Any suggestions?

I doubt it's possible on Stock ROM. I could change the default album app in older Sony Phones not in the newer ones though.
