i want gud keyboard for CM7 as it was in stock rom..dont tell me to use samsung keyboard.apk bcoz it force closes everytime when i open keyboard to type...plz suggest me some gud which have keyboard like stock rom..or some other gus keyboards..

I was just curious if there is a modified keyboard for ics that does not have the 'Smiley Key' but instead an enter key, like the old gingerbread keyboard.

You can take SwiftKey as Keyboard. It's free at market. for me is the best

hi, i have the same "problem": no enter key. i'm using dark knight V3 ICS Rom, and i've installed swipe and go keyboard, and i can't get the enter key. it is there on go keyboard, but it doesn't work... i'm getting very frustrated with it... i use a lot the enter key, but now i can't.
Go SMS Pro did the trick
In my experience, this problem is only experienced with SMS editing, for the rest (entering text in Browser, email... ) works fine.
Install Go SMS Pro (free on android market) and it should fix the problem with the native messaging showing smileys instead of 'enter' key.
My Specs:
Samsung I9100, resurrectionv1.0_remix_ics_exclusive_4.0.3_xxlpq_full-wipe_2

use smart keyboard pro... it has option to replace smiley key with enter key.. I myself use the enter key a lot and its working perfectly fine..

yeah it's work, but I prefer use the rom mms.apk (I'm using apocalypse 17.06.12) how I can get the enter key on it?
I believe there is a modified SMS app over in Dev with this feature, Swype beta also is good

I was edit mms.apk from rom apocalypse and here it is Mms_with_enter_key_enabled

Noticed this before but haven't had to use enter that often.. and just came across this problem. Turned out there's a "soft key" option in ths mms.apk that I'm using on 7comp ROM. Don't know if it's the same across all platforms but it's nice to have that enter key back!

Try to remplace AxT9Keyboard.apk or wahtever it's named from your system/app to another one extracted form other rom e.g. or install a 3er party keyboard what you want

Hello. Default keyboard on my galaxy tab 2 was great, but now i installed aosp 5.1.1 and can't find any keyboard app which can be so comfortable as that from samsung. So question is: is available any conversion of that samsung keyboard for using in other roms?
No ! You can't .. Though you can use a themed keyboard
I had same problem I edited the settings of the new rom and added a pc format keyboard
