Convert system app in user app - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys,
I got a question: usually I convert my system app to user app with titanium backup, but on htc the the function is not showing up
I see a force remove via recovery, is legit?
Can i force remove and then reinstall from play store ( speaking about g+ and maps)
Is there a better and faster way? ( like to delete the apk with root explorer..)
Thanks

You can try to move the apk from /system/app to /data/app
And then reboot of course

The only thing you have to do, is putting the .apk to /system/app.
From then on, they can't be uninstalled.
The error could occur for example because system wasn't mounted as rw.
When i only transfer the apk then the App is not seen in the drawer
Is there a other Folder where the informations are saved from the app??
Get the app named SGS tools you can uninstall samsung default apps with it then get the app installer (by Rythm software) it check all your phone for apk and install it

That means with App Installer i can move the apps to the system?? Like the SGS Tool?
Well if you remove samsung player and install android's original you'll have only this player so that's it ...
I just use "adb install application.apk" and it works fine for me...

[Q] Getting rid of bloatware "uninstallable" apps?

Hello. I have stock .195 ROM and advanced stock kernel v4. My problem is that every time I reboot my phone, the apps like EA Games, PlayNow, Wisepilot, Neoreader etc. reinstall and I have to uninstall it again. And it happens after every reboot. How can I deal with it? It's really annoying...

Maybe you can use Titanium Backup? That app let's you remove apk's in the system folder.
You are not uninstalling them. Just removing them from the app drawer.
Use titanium backup (free download) to uninstall them
Or delete the apk from /system/app using something like root explorer.

[Q] Uninstalling a app installed in system folder

I recently installed WidgetLocker and installed it in my system/app folder as I read it would work best if installed there. But have come to just not like using it and just gone back to the default kindle lock screen and changed the background wallpapers. I can't seem to find a place on the device or apps I use to uninstall it.
And deleting the .apk from the system folder works, but am unsure if everything is removed.
Would I just delete the .apk in the system/app folder then remove any links/shortcuts or is there another, proper, way to do it?

The app manager of a handy program called ROM TOOLBOX can uninstall system files. Just load it, then a long press on the offending "app will reveal menu including uninstall.
Awesome, thank you. Guess I should have this on my device for a while

Just deleting it and rebooting would unninstall a system app just fine ^^ Though maybe the data wont go

Yeah, that's what I first did and shortcuts and some of the data and its folder still remained, but I uninstalled with ROM Toolbox and it worked out nicely. Got rid of most of what I wanted gone.

[Q] I can't unistall some apps

Hi to all!
I have unrooted my kf (beacause i had to restore it), but now i have the market of google and Go launcher hd and i can't uninstall them..
How can i do?
Thank you for your answer =)
You are unrooted... That's why you can't uninstall them. My guess is because they now reside inside /system/app/
But I could be wrong.

I rooted again but i can't remove the go launcher yet!
You may have to manually remove them from system, but first try going into settings then apps and seeing if it is in the list there

If you installed an app into the system folder you do need root to remove it.
Now that you are rooted see if you can find the launcher apk file in the system/apps folder using a file explorer such as es file explorer. If you delete that apk and restart the kindle the app will be uninstalled after boot.
Obviously be careful and make sure you are only deleting apps you have added yourself, and not ones that maybe important system apps

Doesn't work
1) There isn't any market on my apps, i'll post you a screenshot
2) I can't remove the modified bootloader!

[Q] Get AOSP apks to install in Sense?

I flashed to PAC rom and copied some of the apk files back to data/media/ folder then flashed back into Trickdroid and tried to install some of the apps.
I managed to install the clock app, the gallery app (I wanted the photo widget) and the browser app. But other apps such as Phone.apk had a "problem parsing the package" or something similar when trying to install the apk.
Is there a way to do this or is it impossible for some apps?
Thanks

It's impossible for some apps. Also the best way is to use root explorer and copy them to system/apps and set the correct permissions. Be careful though and create a backup incase you run into issues.
