[Q] Screwed up boot? - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everybody,
following problem.
I have a unbranded One (.401) and used the OIA Tool to unlock the bootloader and flash recovery.
Then I installed ARHD 10.0 wich was working like a charm. Also when i wanted to upgrade to 10.2 everything was fine.
The the trouble started.
Yesterday my phone hung up, well no big deal I thought so I did a soft reset but from now on my phone was in bootloop. Ok so I went in Recovery and wiped cache nothing changed no boot.
Then I decided to completely reflash the rom and rebotet the device after half an hour in start logo (htc logo after the red warning) i decided to redo the whole procedure nothing changed it wont boot up (wiped and formated everything possible each time)
Then wanted to bring it into "out of the Box" mode to start from zero
So i picked my RUU (RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.7_Radio_4A.13.3231.27_10.31.1131.05_release_310878_signed) and installed it. No errors nothing.
First startup worked but when I wanted to call somebody the "whole" system crashed and reboted itself.
After this i just got after the HTC logo with the red warning just a black screen (its still iluminated but its just black).
I tried the ruu a couple times more but still the same.
I am still able to acces bootloader and fastboot and recovery.
Does anybody has a clue what i coould do now except bring it in to HTC?
Here a couple more Informations

(Solved) Need help, Bricked HTC One on OTA ?

Hello,
I´m afraid I´ve bricked the HTC One
I have a S-Off and unlocked HTC one. Stock bootloader, CWM recovery.
Today the OTA 2.19.401.1 popped up, but when trying to install it, the phone just reboot, and the OTA appeared again, and again.
I guesses the problem whas the CWM recovery, so i flashed Stock recovery , and whan entered into recovery, the OTA just started to install.
Never ends... It has been installing for more than 1 hour, progress bar stuck arround 20%
I think the problem is:
Before the big OTA 2.19.401.1 (released today in my country) a small OTA (preparation for next update) also poped up, i downloaded and installed ( At this point I still had CWM). No error at any point, just like a reboot of the phone. I think the small OTA didnt install fine becouse of the CWM, then the big OTA popped up (weird because the small one did not install properly) , changed recovery because i noticed something was not going fine.
Right now, I have my HTC one on the table, with the updating screen ( green arrouws with blue phone) stuck at 20%, no progress in the last hour. The phone is hot.
Pluging the charger does nothing (does not light the led)
Trying to power off is not also possible, even trying to long press the power button for 30+ seconds does nothing.
Any ideas? :crying:

Finally I managed to reset the device by pressing VolUp + VolDown + Power for 20+ seconds.
I have entered into bootloader and factory reset the device.
It bootep then, with some errors and the rom doesnt working, but finally it was detected by the comupter and chargind, so I´m flashing right now a RUU. I guess i will have no more problems, I will confirm when is finally solved.
OK, I can breath now , Restored with RUU and now the system is running fine again, updating riht now.
Can be marked as solved.

[Q] Phone won't boot regardless

Ok, so two days ago, I had flashed beanstalk rom. Everything went well, after i changed a couple beanstalk specific settings and then i attempted to reboot. However, it refused to boot, just got stuck on the boot animation. In addition to not booting, twrp wont fully load. It shows the logo but then restarts only to go nowhere. I flashed cwm touch, used an otg cable to try to install viper rom again, but randomly restart towards the end of the installation. It doesn't let me wipe data. It just restarts. i can get to bootloader/fastboot. But that's pretty much it .. recovery is barely any help. If someone can steer me in the right direction to get this thing up and running again, i'd appreciate it. I tried to do everything in my knowledge to restore it, but i've ran out ideas.

have you made a backup?
if yes restore your phone
or move an other rom zip file to your phone using adb commands and try to flash it
I had gotten it to work again by flashing the stock recovery and letting it sit for a few mins, then it booted. But now i have a new problem, and it just happened. I was using my phone normally (fb messenger) and the phone just shut off randomly and refuses to turn on. Battery is good, it wont even boot into bootloader...nothing.

[Q][HELP] Issues after installing custom ROM

Hi everyone, could use some help with my One M7.
EDIT: Okay, i got passed the initial problem! I had to go into recovery and mount /system and everything. I can get into the phone again, however it's continuing to reboot every 2 minutes without warning.
After updating to the stock 4.4.2 my phone became more or less un-usable (no network, constant rebooting, dialer crashing at startup) so I unlocked my phone, installed TWRP and attempted to install a custom 4.3 ROM however it got stuck in a bootloop and corrupted my TWRP.
I can't use TWRP because none of the versions work, they all send me into a bootloop so I'm using ClockWork Mod.
After much frustration I managed to adb push a stock rom onto my phone and install that through CWM. After installing the new ROM i wiped system cache, dalvik cache and wiped all data, all good so far. I rebooted the phone and it started initializing the Android OS and shows me the lock screen. At this point I'm over the moon! However I go to unlock the phone and I'm greeted by the white HTC splash screen. Unfortunately this is as far as I've gotten. The phone just constantly reboots itself every 2 minutes and gets to the same point.
Does anybody know of any workarounds?
Much appreciated, you'll make my week if you can help me.

I'm on TWRP 2.6.3.3 (m7 img) - weirdly I am unable to boot into TWRP when I flash newer versions or even m7ul versions. I have checked the MD5 codes on every install as well.
When I flash the rom I format data and then wipe system and cache as well (along with it as well).
I am trying to get into a stock rom to try and install sunshine to get to s-off - to update firmware and to get to venom 8.0 , or even reset to stock and send back to T-Mobile
Roms I have tried -
Guru_Reset_M7_4.19.401.11-TeHashX - bootloop
AR9
AR840
One_4.06.1540.2_odexed
cm-11-20140106-NIGHTLY-m7ul - this one worked once, got into the phone but went into bootloop when i clicked a playstore app link - since then cannot boot into the phone
omni-4.4.4-20150520-m7ul-FINAL - got past boot but not close enough to stock for sunshine, since then no luck booting into system.
Have also formatted partition using mkfs.ext4 and proceeded to clean install a rom, but no success.
Can't find a stock rom close to my version number, which is why I tried the Guru_Reset one as recommended on another thread.
Please help!

Stuck in white HTC logo screen after update

Hello,
About a week ago I rooted my Australian Unbranded M7 phone (HTC__039)
Today I got an OTA update (7.21.980.22) that I wanted to install.
What I did was first unroot in SuperSu app, then flash stock recovery and updated as normal. it downloaded fine and seem to install with no error, until it got stuck in the bright HTC logo screen with the beats for a very long time. I tried to erase cache but it didn't help. tried to factory reset in recovery but still nothing, it either brings me to a black screen or the htc logo screen.
I relocked the bootloader thinking it might prevent it from loading but it didn't help.
This is my details:

Would appreciate any help, I can't get it to work
Update to my situation:
I got the phone up and working thankfully. I unlocked the bootloader again, installed TWRP recovery and used the file by deevan in the Australian thread: stock-sense-6-Rom-4 4 3- from OTA 6 11 980 12-TWRP-Backup.zip to restore via TWRP. I wasn't sure if it will work as it's an older version but it did and I could actually get booted into the system. I installed stock recovery again and re-locked bootloader and updated to the newest version 7.21.980.22. once it booted and finished optimizing the apps, I kept getting the error "System UI has stopped unexpectedly" and the notification bar was gone, home botton didn't respond. did a factory reset and it solved the issue, it is now a working, updated version.
I then just unlocked the bootloader again, flashed TWRP & installed SuperSu.
Thankfully I have a backup from a few days ago so now it's time to restore everything but glad it's finally working again
