I received my brother's old droid bionic as a gift and I was wondering if it's possible to flash this phone to boost mobile for use. If so, how do I complete this action? Many thanks everyone.

The droid bionic a device that I pass my gaze over since I still had a ongoing contract with my incredible until earlier today. I received the email from motorola letting me know I just won a free bionic. (yay)

Root....install kejars deodexed debloated rom. And the bionic bootstrap of course runs smooth and fast as heck

saw a rom months ago that when installed got rid of need of sim card and made phone into basically a wifi only android device. getting a galaxy s II and wanted to give my old one to my son for games and music. anyone remember what that rom was called?

I've been hunting down the newest info on mobile hotspots/tethering, but I only see info that has been stated as "old"... can't find the new stuff.
I want to be able to get WiFi to my Asus Prime from my Bionic. What's the best way to do this?
There is an app out there called android-wifi-tether. Depending on your carrier there is a version that will bypass the verison lockout.

I have the option of buying and unlocked Verizon Droid 3. I understand Verizon puts blocks on bands in the US.
My question is, is there a hack to get rid of this block? (like on the Droid 2 Global and Droid Pro)
If so, is there a tutorial?
