I hope it's cool I'm making this thread, if not please tell me.
From original thread:
IMPORTANT
This is a experimental Build of the current state of CyanogenMod 9 for the Samsung Galaxy Note. CM9 is based on latest AOSP sources plus some usefull tweaks and features.
CyanogenMod 9 is still under heavy development and will probably be finished in January/February 2012. The device specific part for the Galaxy Note is under heavy Development, too.
Working
WiFi should work as expected.
3G/GPRS/EDGE Data and Calling
Audio
Touchscreen as well as the S-Pen (proprietary S-Pen Apps by Samsung are not included and would'nt work anyway).
Sensors should work. (ie. at least GPS is confirmed to work properly)
Not working
Bluetooth is unstable. Don't rely on it just yet
Battery Usage doesn't work.
MTP Mode does not work. You need to push/pull files via adb
Camera doesn't work. Will be that way until we can get our hands on a ICS leak for the Galaxy Note
I want to start this thread because the original one for development was closed, this is not a development thread so here you are allowed to ask all questions you want. I will try to answer most of the questions and I'm sure other people will be around to give some answers as well. Also development on CM9 for our Note has not stopped, without an ICS leak or official update from sammy it's very hard to fix stuff.
I think my English is decent, but if you find mistakes please try not to pay attention to them to much

I think this is great! It's been awhile but are you still using cm9 or moved onto other roms?

CM10 is being worked on but it takes time without cource for NovaThor U8500 soc. S3 mini is a pretty new model compared to the Wonder and Arco is still in alpha stage with it for W. Just imagine how many hours he must have put in on that project. Just give the devs some time, and i'm sure we'll se an alpha when most things work. :good:

You complain too much bro..Give the devs some time..do you think its easy to make a rom without the proper sources?they'll have to write all those codes from scratch..
and if you want..why not make your own?so you wont complain about the slow development here.

First of all it's not an s3, it's an s3 mini. Can't be compared to s3 when it comes to hardware.
i8190 was released in november 2012 I think and that wasn't a worldwide release. Of course things gets slowed down. Security was also tightned on this one so we didn't get a working custom recovery untill end of januari.
if you really need CM for your device you should pick an older one with official support from CM team.
The normal target date for official CM support is about a year. This means that there's usually a working-ish port ready about six months after the device launched, and this phone launched just five months ago. Give Maclaw time to work on it.
Sorry if this question has been already asked.. I'm not quite sure: Some state that source codes are released, others say they're not. Being on a SGS2 without proper source code, I'd like to know if SGS3 mini documentation is fully available (= developer-friendly).
Thanks in advance,

Try to ask in the CM10 dev thread, there Oliver or other devs working on it will answer your question
Hi guys! I just wanted to ask if one of the developers could spare some free time to port any cyanogenMod for the galaxy tab 3 7'' (the GSM version T211)?The T211 development is completely dead, and the tablet is unusable with the stock rom... I own the I9305 and the devs here were always very helpful , so I figured it's no harm in asking Peace to you guys and long live our i9305!
I tried finding a way to Contact Mokee Developers in Hopes to Speak to Someone about Building a custom Rom for our Galaxy Tab S. However was unable to find the Way to reach out to them, I am NOT a Developer, but am a ALL Around Samsung Enthusiast. So this is why Im posting this thread hoping there are others Like myself that Love the Mokee Custom Roms ( A HUGE Shout out to the ENTIRE Mokee TEAM), and that also Prefer how Google Edition Runs on our Tablets instead of Touch Wiz, I am Hoping this Post reaches the EYES or the right person that CAN make this Happen, Bless to ALL....
Yes would be great to see more devs working on the Tab S 10.5 & 8.4 as they are great hign end tablet devices.
Hi there. I hope someone in this subforum can help me out.
I noticed that a CyanogenMod port for the Galaxy Tab S2 T710 (WiFi) started. But the developer mentioned that it will be unlikely to have a CM port for the T715 (LTE) in the future.
But I'm wondering if it will be possible to use the T710 ROM for the T715 version (and than only lose the LTE capability)?
I ask because for some reasons they dont sell the T710 WiFi version in Germany. So I could either buy the LTE version and hope it will work with CM or I could import a WiFi version which would be a bit more complicated.
Thanks
Hi there,
I would also be highly interested in a T715N-solution.
Is there a way we can promote this?
Thanks in adavance.
If you live close to the border of Belgium or Holland, you can buy a T710 there.
Do you really think I would seriously ask for a T715-solution, if I would not already own one?
Did you open this thread? If so, you got me confused with your 2 usernames.
My answer was in response to his question.
